Best Gas Water Heater Installation in Boston MA
I'm writing to express my gratitude and extreme satisfaction with the emergency late night service that Big Blue provided on the night of January 2nd. Around 9:30pm, I found water streaming thru my mud room from a burst baseboard pipe in one of my second floor guest bedroom. We had been using an electric space heater upstairs in our main bedroom in an attempt to save some heating cost. Once I found the source of the leak, I called the emergency line and got a call back from Kumar about 20mins later. He said he would try to get to my place in 20 mins. He arrived right around twenty minutes.
I could tell he was tired from working all day and all night but he was nonetheless, friendly, courteous, and professional. He checked out the boiler in the basement, shut off the water to upstairs, cut out and replaced the burst pipe and cleaned up. And there was no attitude, rudeness, or sarcasm the entire repair. Given the bad situation, he was a pleasure to deal with.
Kumar from Big Blue was extremely professional and we were happy to have him help solve our terrible situation.

Greg is a really great guy. He is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and has reasonable rates. He has responded to our home at off hours during emergencies and taken care of our seasonal maintenance for several years now. Our family highly recommends him!

Angel with Dynamic Plumbing was really easy to work with, no fluff. We thought we had a leak coming from a 3rd floor apartment to the 2nd floor, and it turns out it's just discoloration from paint. Once he arrived he was quick, did the necessary tests to confirm there was no leak, and made recommendations for how to move forward. He could have easily cut holes in the wall and charged us more, but instead was honest and saved us a lot of hassle.
We will definitely call Angel again for future issues.

I've now used Consolidated Plumbing and Heating twice, both times they were exceptionally helpful and quick to respond. The first time, our repair was handled the next day and done cleanly and professionally. The second time, they helped me diagnose over the phone and were above and beyond helpful. I will not hesitate to call again!

I feel very happy and relieved that I found Jonny. As a new homeowner, I was very anxious when my water heater started leaking. I immediately started looking online for a plumber including Angie's List, Home Advisor, Yelp, and the Home Depot installers. Some plumbers never called back, others gave me expensive quotes. Another wanted $132 dollars just to come over and assess what was happening. A friend recommended I call Jonny and I am glad I did. He was traveling but I was able to communicate with him via WhatsApp and show him the property. Jonny was very clear about his availability, showed up when he said he would, and best of all he gave me a very fair price. He was also willing to meet up at Home Depot so that I could make sure I chose the WiFi water heater I wanted. He was very patient while I had a last-minute moment of indecision while deciding on the size of the tank. The install looks great. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and call him back if I have any other issues. I always look at reviews and recommendations when making decisions, and I hope this review helps you feel confident in hiring Jonny.

We had a sewer pump cease and were unable to use our plumbing. Derek gave me a quick quote, got the parts and had the repair completed in under 24 hours for less than the original quote.
Great service!!!

I hired Andrew to install a garbage disposal that I had already purchased. It was slightly larger than the old one, so I was worried it would be a tight fit and told Andrew this over the phone before the job. The first thing he does is yank the old disposal out so hard that the sink dislodges. Then to fix the sink he pulls out the dishwasher, breaking the copper connecting pipe. He putting the sink back haphazardly with a gap between the top and the counter. I ask if he is going to caulk it and he says he doesn't do that -- seems to me like a standard thing for a plumber.
Finally, he tries to put the new disposal in. It doesn't fit and he can't figure out a way to get to go in. Frustrated, he asks me to pay him $300 and says he wants to leave (his original estimate was $150-200). I offer him $200 for his time, but he won't accept the payment. Then he leaves, with the dishwasher still out of its place. He comes back because he forgot his phone, I ask him to reconnect the dishwasher He reluctantly does so and it starts leaking so he just shuts off the supply. He says the connecter is broken and I should go get a new one myself and he will install it the next day. I go out and buy the hose, but then he refuses to come back and install it. So now I have no disposal, a broken sink and a broken dishwasher.
I found Andrew to be very unprofessional. Some jobs are challenging. To get frustrated and take it out on the customer, and to leave the customer's kitchen in worse condition than you found it is unacceptable. At least he didn't accept my money in the end, so I can pay another plumber to fix the dishwasher he broke.

I hesitate to write this review...I'm...I'm afraid he'll get so popular he'll never be available to me...but this guy...Frank...is the nicest, most competent, most trustworthy plumber in the business...he also happens to be a distance swimmer and horse trainer...how cool is that?
My toilet tank/bowl wasn't filling with water...i called a local plumber (heritage plumbing) and paid the standard $95 for the guy to come out and assess...i figured he'd replace the toilet guts...he said he wouldn't touch it, the pipe from toilet to the wall look rusted, to replace the guts wouldn't be worth it...i should just get a new toilet, and a new pipe to the wall...to the tune of $850. yes. $850.00.
I said lemme think about it and then I found Frank. He came the next morning and installed a new toilet. he said he coulda fixed the guts easily but my toilet was from the 70s and was using a ton of water...would be best to just replace it...and the pipe from the toilet to the wall wasn't rusted it was just dirty.
did the whole thing for around $300. that includes the toilet itself. Frank will give you the straight dope. call him. he's just as amazing as he sounds on everyone's reviews...

Had a problem with upstairs toilet. Called 4 people, couldn't get anyone here within a week. Call Mass Plumbing and Heating, Welter came within 3 hours. Welter was respectful of current Covid issues, he was efficient, cleaned everything up, and in general...a nice guy to have working in the house. Highly recommend! Barbara C.

Excellent service. Pat showed up and came in with a reasonable estimate, he was prepared to repair broken pipes leading to the shower and install new valves, balls joints and outdoor shower fixtures, job was competed in two hours. I would highly recommend his services.

Decided to get proactive with our 20 year old American Standard furnace. Selected Main Stream Mechanical to do the install and couldn't be happier. Technicians were very knowledgeable and professional. Very well run company with great communication. Couldn't be happier.

Simon from High Quality Plumbing provided top-notch service, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs professional plumbing services. His rates were very reasonable. He recommended what needed to be done only but nothing extra. His work ethic was very high, and he really focused on solving the problem I had.
I needed to have a commercial style toilet flush unit replacement work done at my condo. While the replacement work itself was not complicated and laborious for a plumber who has a Master Plumber license, Simon made sure the work was done right the first time due to the number of people that was affected from the main water shutoff required at the condo building. He came to my unit to take measurements and evaluate the issues before making an appointment with me and the building management to do the actual work. He offered to purchase the flush unit for me or let me purchase it myself. He told me beforehand that he did not intend to make any profits from the parts. He merely provided the parts as a one-stop service for the customers. His part prices were even cheaper than what I could buy on my own outside. My condo building management had to change the appointment two times for the building water shutoff due to the logistics involved. Simon was accommodating and provided us with other alternative dates and times that he would be available. His communication was excellent. All phone calls, e-mails and text messages would be responded or returned. He provided his license and insurance coverage to the building management directly. On the job day, he showed up on time and started working immediately without any delay. He went down to the basement of the building to drain the standing water in the pipe after the building serviceman shut the main water off. He laid something similar to rosin paper on the floor, making sure he left the work place as clean if not cleaner than before he started. During the process, he explained to me why and how he did what he was doing. Every step was done in details to ensure that he did not need to re-do it. He had a much higher standard for his own work than I had expected. After the replacement work was done, he carefully inspected any leaks and adjusted the unit to ensure that it functioned properly. He tested the unit many times before calling the job done. He cleaned up the work site at the end.
Simon is an honest professional that I would recommend hiring. My condo building management required someone like him who has a Master Plumber license with insurance coverage before they let anyone touch the pipes. You will not only appreciate the quality of his work, but also value his humble, unassuming personality.

Just bought a home and before we moved in, we ran into plumbing issues. I found Bushi on Yelp and gave them a call and they came at the end of their work day at 7pm to help. Fast forward 3 weeks later, my water heater broke and they came within hours and installed a new one. Their prices are great and as a first time home owner, they felt my stress and got the job done immediately. They explained everything to me and educated me on the plumbing of the house. I definitely would recommend them. These guys know what they are doing, are highly professional, and are ethical.

We've had a problem toilet over the past few years - increasingly slow on the flush - with some pretty unpleasant back ups. Our DIY efforts to unclog were frustratingly unproductive. Finally reached out to Z PLUMERZ on Yelp - on a Sunday afternoon, no less - and got a response within 10 minutes. They fit me into their Monday schedule. Great communication around the scheduling and confirmations. Shane showed up in the colorful Z PLUMBERS truck - he was a delightful person - professional, respectful of the house (he even put on booties before walking in) - and within 15 minutes, he'd assessed the situation, given me an estimate - pulled the equipment he needed from the truck - unclogged the obstruction (yep, he found it!) - and was off after a very efficient wrap up/payment. Set us back all of $99 bucks. As I told him, You hit the Easy Button for us! I'm still a little in shock that it really was that easy - and relatively inexpensive. Now I'm wondering - why did we wait so long to take care of this!? Thank you Z PLUMBERZ!

Bill did an exemplary job. He is extremely responsive, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with. His customer service is second to none. He took excellent care of our furnace and addressed all of our concerns. I look forward to hiring him again in the future.

I made an appointment with MacCo for the annual servicing of my ac and heating units. The person who answered the phone, Victor, explained that the price was the same as the previous year, but if I chose to pay by credit card there would be a 5% surcharge. I was told that I could choose to pay by cash or check instead to avoid the 5% surcharge. I was also told by Victor that he would confirm the appointment by phone the day before. On the day of the appointment, I never heard from Victor so I called the office to confirm. Victor was rather snippy and claimed he called me the day before, but my phone was busy. He could've emailed me, texted me or tried calling again, but he did none of those things. Also, he said if I looked out my window I would see the plumber's truck in the parking lot. Guess what? My condo is in the back and doesn't face the parking lot! In any event, the servicing of my ac and heating units was done satisfactorily and the plumber was far more pleasant than Victor. I'm not sure if Victor was having a bad day or if he's always confrontational with customers when things don't go smoothly, but the fact is, when anyone works in a customer facing role, they need to act politely and professionally at all times.

Response time was fantastic, and it was very easy to set up our appointment to get a new sink installed and a leaky toilet fixed. Jim arrived not just on time, but a little bit early, and he worked diligently until the job was complete. Friendly service, too. Everything looks great, and we are very pleased with how it all turned out. Would definitely recommend Pescatore Mechanical Contractors to others!

Mike has a very charming personality that wins you over, he leaves making you think - wow what a nice and honest man but then you realize that is all a facade. I asked him to come over to look at some corroded pipes. he said nothing was leaking so there was no problem. I told him our disposal wasnt working and that I wasnt sure if I needed to fix it since I dont use it, he said Oh its easy I said Ok.... He never told me Oh its easy, it will cost you $160 because I spent 1 minute of my time.
I have never interacted with a person who deceived me like this. He should have been upfront about the cost - and then I would not think this way. I dont trust him in my home and would advise you not to trust him in yours.

They are overpriced. Most plumbing services charge $180 and hour. They charged $550 an hour to flush and clean our furnace but never fixed the problem of a delayed kicking on.I will never use them again.
