Best Gas Line Services in Boston MA
I was pretty frustrated with Big Blue Plumbing & Heating. I had a leak in my basement, read all the great reviews on Yelp, and gave them a call.
Donna asked me to send in a picture of the leak (a hose had been duct taped to a pipe, and that was leaking). I did. She then told me that her guys said the picture was very helpful, and it would take them ~3-4 hours to fix at $95/hour, plus parts, which could cost around $200 or more.
I walked the picture of my problem over to my local hardware store, where the plumber sold me a roll of silicone rescue tape for $10. I fixed my own problem, cutting off the duct tape and re-sealing the attachment with the silicone rescue tape, in under 10 minutes.
I can't believe these guys would have charged me over $500 for this. Don't trust them.

Angel was amazing! He was recommended to me by a friend when my usual plumber was unavailable. I called about a leak and luckily he was in the area and able to come by and fix it within an hour! He was quick, kind and very professional. I will be using this awesome team going forward and would absolutely recommend Dynamic Plumbing!

I can't say enough about these guys. I had a broken garbage disposal and running toilet. After getting stiffed by another plumber closer to my house, I called Consolidated on a Friday afternoon. They immediately sent someone over and it was fixed within the hour. Incredibly responsive and professional. Love these guys.

We had an ongoing leak from our second floor bathroom through the ceiling on the first floor. I appreciated that Welter communicated about what he would do to diagnose the problem, to appropriately set the expectations of the work. During the process, at each turn he would take the time to explain what he had done, what he had found and what he recommended for a resolution. I was very happy with the work he did and for the recommendations he provided. While I certainly do not want any plumbing problems in the future, I would look to hire Welter, again, to get them resolved.

I have never in my life met a team so passionate at their job. We needed a water heater replaced in our house as well as some other areas issues looked at/fixed. Once we called Landmark we were completely taken care of. We were met at the house and provided options that ranged in prices (with no upset pressure), they educated us on current requirements for venting (3 duct to a now required 4 duct), as well as provided us some good insights into how the water system works in general. Clearly knowledgeable. The quote they provided was never exceeded and we were provided options when looking at water heaters. We chose the one we wanted and before you knew it the team was at the house, early on a beautiful Saturday morning ready and eager to get to work. The work was done beautifully. Not only did we have a new water heater installed (which looks darn good I must say), they installed the new venting ducts as well as shored up ALL the pipes in the basement (something they certainly did not need to do): insulated this one, clamped down that one, checked the water pressure here and removed excess pipes there. A dream team.
Quoting and invoicing is done through FreshBooks which makes the entire transaction paperless and easy. Pricing was unbelievably fair for the work done.
These guys have not only earned our trust, but have earned lifelong customers as well as references.

Very professional in setting up a last minute appointment and the visit was painless. He knew exactly what he needed to do and needed little guidance from me (I was on calls and couldn't help much). Installed a new kitchen faucet and replaced a couple faulty shutoff valves and even worked with my management company to get access to the shutoff valves for the building. I've found my go-to plumber.

Once again Chase Plumbing to the rescue. We called this morning for a plumbing problem in kitchen and bathroom. They arrived by mid-day, were efficient, effective, politel and quickly resolved our issues, and the price was certainly fair. Dorin was easy to work with - a pleasure to have in our home.

Though you may receive good service, you will pay through the roof, and then if you seek feedback on why the cost is so high, the owner will yell at you and berate you.
The service provided by Andrew Fodera, the plumber who provided my service was great. He was on time, respectful, answered questions and very helpful. However, you will pay through the roof for the service. Andrew came to my home twice for no more than an hour each time to assist with a leaky kitchen faucet and continuously running toilet. I was informed I needed to replace the kitchen faucet and he adjusted the chain in the tank and tightened some bolts. Andrew returned to install a new kitchen faucet that I had already purchase. The total for the two visits $791.96.
Feeling this was very high for two hours of work, I contacted Ron Pescatore to inquire about the bill and understand the charges. Only to have him yell at me on the phone and ask me repeatedly what I thought his time is worth. I indicated that I expected to pay a reasonable hourly rate, but am very surprised at 2 hours of time for the work provided totaled nearly $400 an hour. He continued to yell over the phone about the cost of his trucks and time to drive to my home stating more than an hour to drive each way.
Be advised, you are paying for labor, owners time to coordinate, drive time and god knows what else. I take responsibility for not getting a cost estimate prior, I have learned my lesson.
I will pay my bill, but I would recommend that no one hire this company, given the high prices and the treatment you may receive from the owner if you reach out to better understand the cost. Just know that with this company, you will pay through the roof for basic plumbing needs.

Frank is an extremely competent and trustworthy master plumber. We live in Arlington, MA and he is our go-to guy. He installed our water heater, which turned out to be a complex job, and recently our Bosch dishwasher. In addition, he has fixed our bathroom plumbing issues. He is friendly, prompt and hard working. It is very difficult to find a good plumber in the Boston area. We had some dicey experiences before finding Frank and we could not be happier.

Mike Richard has done outstanding work at our home over the past 8 years. He works so efficiently he actually jogs to his truck and back to get any needed supplies. Mike is always timely and communicates about any issues that he finds, offering various solutions. Most recently, he put me in touch with other contractors that have also done superb work.

Incredibly fast and reliable. Fair pricing. They made it very easy! Highly recommended.

we had an oil burner service company for 20 years and the owner retired a few years ago. we thought we would never find that level of service again. we decided to convert to natural gas, and we used mainstream mechanical. we also installed a whole house generator. these guys do great work, are professional, and know their stuff! we are always assured that no matter what time of the year, day or night, if we have a problem they are there! we highly recommend mainstream. Just bought a home and before we moved in, we ran into plumbing issues. I found Bushi on Yelp and gave them a call and they came at the end of their work day at 7pm to help. Fast forward 3 weeks later, my water heater broke and they came within hours and installed a new one. Their prices are great and as a first time home owner, they felt my stress and got the job done immediately. They explained everything to me and educated me on the plumbing of the house. I definitely would recommend them. These guys know what they are doing, are highly professional, and are ethical.

Very satisfied with Z Plumberz. They are professional, response quickly (plumbers show up within hours), and communicate effectively. Everyone I have spoken to (the sales coordinator, the manager, and the plumbers) are all very thorough with the process. The rate is also pretty standard by Boston standard. I would highly recommend this company.

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. I bought a home 3 years ago and so have had an opportunity to have a lot of plumbing issues go wrong. I first dealt with several plumbers who would show up late, do a shoddy job, and not return calls. When someone recommended Baker Elman to me, I was hesitant to go with a bigger company because they would be a little more expensive... let me tell you... these guys are reliable, punctual, and do a beautiful job getting my plumbing issues fixed. Not only that, but they are friendly and bend over backwards to make sure you are happy with their work. The company is larger so it has someone answering the phone all the time, able to tell you when the plumber will be there, and you are never left hanging. I HIGHLY recommend them for any plumbing needs! A wee bit more expensive, but so very worth it.

Our hot water heater started leaking pretty bad on Friday morning to the point of flooding our basement if we didn't immediately shut it off, Friday afternoon I was scrambling to find a plumber that could come out within a few days. Not only was Calzini's Plumbing very responsive with a quote but they were able to come Saturday morning to replace it. The job took less than an hour and we found the price to be quite reasonable. I highly recommend this company and will use them again for future plumbing needs.

I recently purchased a new gas stove and needed a local licensed plumber to install it. I did the usual google search and there was Waldman Plumbing and heating. I called the number at 6:00pm which said they were opened until 7:00pm and after giving my information I was told she would page the plumber and he would get back to me. I never got a call back. I then called the next day and it was like I never even called. I had to give all of my information again and was told again that she needed to page the plumber and he would get back to me. Shortly after, I got a callback and explained my need for a stove install and asked what the going rate was. The guy on the phone told me he would have to come and look at it. He could not even give me a ballpark figure. I explained that I get home late during the week from work and that I would like to make an appointment on the weekend. He then explained that he only does emergency work on weekends so that was out of the question. I then mentioned that I would possibly need a turn off valve as well because the one I have appeared to be an older style valve. He then told me that he couldn't really help me at all. Really? He didn't even refer me to someone who could. Maybe my job wasn't big enough or worth his time to line his pocket? Maybe he didn't want to deal with an older valve? Who knows but I was left searching for another alternative. I now have a licensed plumber coming tomorrow to install my stove and for only $100! Just because someone shows up first in your online search, it doesn't mean that you should go with them. I would stay away from this company. No customer service at all.

Unethical company. Installed my plumbing but it was not up to code. Bad news - stay away.
