Best Gas Line Services in Boston MA
Terrific service. You call them. They pick up. You have a conversation with them telling them what your problem is and they say, No problem, we'll fix it and they're there when they say they'll be. We had a gas washer/dryer delivered (which was delivered 4 days late without warning) and needed a plumber to install. Big Blue was there the same morning and we were able to do laundry that night. Absolutely, terrific.

We are VERY HAPPY with Greg's service!! He did an excellent job in installing a new water heater for us. Greg's is very professional, responsive, knows what he's doing, listens to our concerns, takes the time to explain and answer our questions, his estimate is right on, his price is very reasonable..... Out of the three plumbing companies we had contacted, his quality of work, customer service and pricing are the best. After the job, he took the time to walk us through everything he did and cleaned up everything. Plus, he's a dog lover too!! My husband and I are just happy that Grey's here...... Yeah, we finally get hot water!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Hired Angel for all of our plumbing needs and have no regrets. Highly recommend. I will continue to use his services for any plumbing issues in the future. Perfectionist professional, detail-oriented and conscientious. Great customer service. Responsive and helpful. Always wore a new surgical face mask, fitted properly, during the whole time indoors. He understood that I had to keep the windows open and no A/C on for coronavirus-precautions and kept working diligently despite the summer humidity and heat. Brought his own booties (new ones) each time to keep the house clean.
This one might be basic but it's important and hard to find sometimes - Angel worked efficiently and respected my home so that nothing was dirty or damaged when he was done working in the work area. I've had other horrible people work in my home before and they'll ding or scratch other stuff while they're working and never clean up the work area when they're done too.
Details: I had major plumbing work done by Angel in my house. Over a holiday weekend, I had a leaky supply pipe in the bathroom that caused a ton of damage and needed extensive work. Angel was texting with me within the hour of my requesting service (through his website first) to assess the situation and recommended an emergency repair (that I could do while I waited for him to show up on the next business day) so that we could stop the water leak ASAP without having to lose running water in the entire house. Then he took care of the necessary pipework as well as the repairs and completed the job in as few trips as possible (i.e., minimal water shutoff - which is important. Imagine living without running water for anything longer than a day. I can't, first-world problems.) Angel was willing to come at the end of the day so that we could have most of the day with running water and then it would be shutoff to let the pipe glue cure overnight. So much easier on us and considerate of Angel to do that, instead of scheduling us at his convenience like other plumbers might do.
In case you'd like to know, the entire process needed some new piping, toilet removal and reattachment, vanity removal and a new installation, as well as all new hardware that would accompany these fixtures. (I also needed wall repair and countertop work, for which Angel recommended other professionals and I was very pleased with their work too.)
Additionally, unrelated to the problem, I had a faulty kitchen faucet that wouldn't dispense hot water like it used to, and Angel easily diagnosed the issue and replaced it with a new one. Similarly, I had a faulty drain assembly that was slowing down the water in another bathroom sink and Angel took care of that in a few minutes too.
Lumped all that work with reasonable rates. Very happy with my experience overall. Highly recommend!

We LOVE you guys!!! Our family has relied on Mitch and Tommy (and Jodi!) for at least 15 years now. They are unbelievably responsive, honest, and do amazing work. And such lovely people. Mitch once spent hours and hours at our house in the middle of a MAJOR blizzard, right before Christmas, as our failing burner began spewing carbon monoxide. He dealt with the gas company, the shutdown, and all the other attendant issues while I scrambled to find temporary housing. He miraculously managed to find us a brand new furnace that arrived within days. (Just try to get a burner installed over the holidays when the region is at a standstill due to feet of snow!). We moved back home Christmas eve, barely missed a beat, and our young children had the holiday they had expected. Years later, still grateful.
My dad used to say that one of the most valuable things as a homeowner is having a great plumber. Well, we do, and would recommend Consolidated to anyone in the Metrowest area.

Bill did an exemplary job. He is extremely responsive, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with. His customer service is second to none. He took excellent care of our furnace and addressed all of our concerns. I look forward to hiring him again in the future.

Mike repaired our hot water baseboard heat pipes which burst during the February 3-5, 2023 cold snap. He came in the same day as we called him and did a great job! We are grateful for his prompt and professional service.

I hesitate to write this review...I'm...I'm afraid he'll get so popular he'll never be available to me...but this guy...Frank...is the nicest, most competent, most trustworthy plumber in the business...he also happens to be a distance swimmer and horse trainer...how cool is that?
My toilet tank/bowl wasn't filling with water...i called a local plumber (heritage plumbing) and paid the standard $95 for the guy to come out and assess...i figured he'd replace the toilet guts...he said he wouldn't touch it, the pipe from toilet to the wall look rusted, to replace the guts wouldn't be worth it...i should just get a new toilet, and a new pipe to the wall...to the tune of $850. yes. $850.00.
I said lemme think about it and then I found Frank. He came the next morning and installed a new toilet. he said he coulda fixed the guts easily but my toilet was from the 70s and was using a ton of water...would be best to just replace it...and the pipe from the toilet to the wall wasn't rusted it was just dirty.
did the whole thing for around $300. that includes the toilet itself. Frank will give you the straight dope. call him. he's just as amazing as he sounds on everyone's reviews...

Mike did all of our plumbing for a bathroom renovation, and all of the work to install a new heating system. I would highly recommend him.

We had a burst pipe with 96 year old plumbing. Our regular plumber took a look at it and said he was not equipped to handle the job. I called Pat and he was able to take a look, determine what he needed to do, and start the job within the hour. He was thorough and careful. He and his partner had to cut some holes in closets, basement ceiling, and cabinetry. They had to get rid of old press pipe, and replace it from the basement through an interior wall up to the second floor and then across the floor. It was not an easy job. They managed to do everything neatly and cleaned up thoroughly. I could not be more impressed with their work.

we had an oil burner service company for 20 years and the owner retired a few years ago. we thought we would never find that level of service again. we decided to convert to natural gas, and we used mainstream mechanical. we also installed a whole house generator. these guys do great work, are professional, and know their stuff! we are always assured that no matter what time of the year, day or night, if we have a problem they are there! we highly recommend mainstream. Highly recommended- found on Yelp with perfect 5 stars all around! I had a bad leak- he was over in less than an hour, gave great advice and professional service. I was so worried, but he put me at ease! I was able to pick up my commodes, sink, and faucet set on my own and notified him at 8 AM that I had the stock- he was at my house before 9:30 on the same morning!! Great, neat, fast, affordable! Thank you so much guys!!!

I am very pleased with Z plumbers. The handle of our kitchen faucet broke off one evening. I contacted Z plumbers about 8PM and spoke with a third party operator. She forwarded the info to Z plumbers and I received a text back at 1030PM. The owner called me at 730AM the next morning and asked me to send some pictures of the faucet. He contacted the supplier and got information on a replacement part within an hour. I decided to just replace faucet. The owner was booked for the day but squeezed me in first thing the next day. Later that day, the owner texted and said that a crew had finished up another job early and they could be out by 4PM. There were two plumbers, Aiden and another young man who I didn't catch his name. These gentlemen were terrific, both professionally and personally. They replaced the faucet in about an hour and our kitchen was functioning again all within 22 hours of my call. Good (and reliable) plumbers are very hard to find in the Boston area. I can't recommend Z plumbers any higher.

Ever since Baker-Elman Plumbing joined with Accurate Heating (they are now called Accurate Baker Elman) they have devolved enough to lose me as a customer. When my dishwasher started leaking I called them to find out how much it would cost to look at. I was quoted $175. The plumber came, looked under the dishwasher and also looked up at the pipes from the basement. Total time spend was about 15 minutes. He told me we needed to replace the dishwasher. Fair enough. Then he asked for payment of $275! I told him I was quoted $175. He said he couldn't leave without getting paid $275, and that the extra $100 was for driving to my house--which is in the middle of Newton! The very reason I originally got a quote in advance was to avoid hidden charges. He said he understood why I was unhappy, but that I should complain to the office -- his job was to collect that payment. I complained to the office, and they eventually agreed to reimburse the unexpected (and unwarranted) $100 charge after I told them that I would write a bad review about my experience if they didn't. I'm still waiting for that reimbursement several months later. Hence this review.

Purchasing a property that required plumbing repairs by the Mortgage Co prior to closing. Due to Probate and Executor Sale, repairs being coordinated through me. Reached Dave over the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend with repairs scheduled for Monday afternoon following. Dave arrived promptly, assessed the repair needs, traveled to the local plumbing store in town for additional materials then fixed the problem quickly. Will definitely call Dave in the future when I need a plumber.

I made the mistake of having this company replace a hot water heater...and it cost me. Admittedly, it is my fault for not doing more research. The plumber was great, very professional and did a nice job; however, I paid $1200 for a lower end 30 gallon tank. When I was given the estimate, I was told the tank was expensive because it was a low boy tank to fit in a crawl space. It took the plumber about 1.5 hrs and when I came home and researched the tank he put in, I realized it retails for about $350. I wanted to figure out how they arrived at over $1200, so I called and asked for an itemized bill. I was told the owner would have to do that because they do not typically break down costs on bills. When I finally received the bill, the break down was remove and replace 30 gallon tank and the total cost. Clearly, I got screwed and will not be using them again. Lesson learned.

After hour contact needs some work. Service provided did not seem to completely fix the problem with my furnace and attempts to get back in contact with company over weekend hours were not met with level of service expected.
