Best Water Filtration System Repair in Washington DC

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done.  They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.

I am looking for a plumber and ran across Marines Plumbing again and noticed the great reviews and just had to comment, which I never do. They installed a kitchen sink and disposal for me last year. I wanted to support the Marines. One guy came and installed it. High cost, but I paid it. It leaked and they came out the next day (2 guys) to fix it. Said the first guy had installed the disposal incorrectly and they had to redo it and it would cost more $. I said no. I already paid to have it installed. Big argument. They called the boss. He refused to budge. I threatened to cancel my check. In the end, they rigged something up and said it would work but wasn't regulation.  Horrible customer service. They tried to make me pay because their guy installed in improperly. DO NOT RECOMMEND! They are a disgrace the corp and should not use their name.

It was great to work with George from Ahoy Plumbing. He responded quickly and was able to fix (replace) our sump pump the next day, saving us from another flooded basement that evening. He confidently answered all questions and got the work done without issues. We received warranty issue for the sump and a thorough description of everything that was done. Nice electronic payment/invoice system.

Hired the plumbing doctor based on positive reviews. Our kitchen sink faucet broken on a Friday and we wanted to get it replaced ASAP. I called and they had an appt for the next day (Sat) for me in the am; the extra charge for a weekend appt was only $40 more per hour (some places like to charge you double the normal rate), but I got a $20 discount for being a new customer so it was totally worth it to have our kitchen sink fixed the next day rather than Monday. The plumber was nice and knew what he was doing and swapped out the old faucet for a new one we had purchased. It took less than 1 hour and the whole thing cost less than $200. I recommend them and will use them in the future.

I live in San Diego but have a home that I rent out in Silver Spring, Md.  Because I could not be there for the repairs it was important for me to find a company that I could trust.  The people at Northern Plumbing are very professional, honest assessment and fair.  Scott Childers is a master plumber which is reflected in the quality of his work.  I needed a water control valve replaced and he did an excellent job.  It was a very small space making it a tight spot for the repairs but he went in there and did an outstanding job.  I was also impressed that Scott answers his own phone and responds right away.  I am very satisfied and highly recommend this company.

We had an issue with a drain that we couldn't resolve on our own. I ended up calling Mallick after a friend told me they were the best around. As expected, they came out promptly and resolved my issue quickly. The technician was extremely pleasant and did a fantastic job overall making sure he was working clean. He answered all our questions and made us feel like we made the right call.
