Four words for P&T Elite Plumbing...my plumber for life. Mr. Payne is the specialty trade provider we all want, but rarely get. I initially called one of the big plumbing firms to replace a busted water heater. I did some market research and found their price to be excessively high. After putting my contact info into an online quote site, Gary called with a five minute. Within the first couple minutes of our conversation, I felt a huge sense of trustworthiness. He was completely transparent about the entire process and price. Mr. Payne did what he said he was going to do, when he was going to do it and at the quoted price, which was about 40% less than the large plumbing company. It isn't often that you feel absolute joy after a visit from a service company. Yesterday, after Mike from Tim Whistler Plumbing and Gas was done with servicing our fireplace, I ran to my hubby and hugged the life out of him for finding these people. Mike arrived early and very quickly determined the issue with our fireplace. He gave us an accurate estimate of the repair cost and at the end there were no unwelcome extra charges. What Mike quoted was what we paid! He took the time to explain our inherited fireplace to us and to show us its safety features. He then demonstrated the proper operation of it and made sure we both understood how to safely use our fireplace. Mike also revamped the entire set up, replacing exhausted elements until it looked brand new. He was polite, friendly and exceedingly patient with our many questions. I look forward to using them in the future!

Last week I called and asked Michael and Son to bring a camera to explore a pipe that leads from our storm drain to the sewer on our commercial property. We think it may be damaged.
The receptionist had an opening between Noon and 4 pm same day so I took it. 4:00 pm rolls around and no word, calls, or updates. Call back and the technician got held up at another job- no big deal, will re-schedule.
Re-schedule to a few days out in the morning. Technician calls 30 min. ahead and asked what's going on- I tell him I need someone with a camera to look at our main sewer pipe. He let's me know he will be there soon. Shortly after he shows up and says Oh, I don't have a camera and I'm not authorized to do that work. What? I just told him that over the phone so why show up?
He suggests putting a hose in the pipe to see if it drains on the street and then tells me I need to pay a $69 dispatch fee. I shouldn't have paid him, but he pressured me into it. I've now called customer service two times and no one can seem to get me a refund or discuss the matter. I think that is only fair as no work was done, despite clarifying with the tech what was needed before he arrived. Thoroughly unimpressed.
