Best Outlet Installation in Seattle WA
We, erm, accidentally drilled into a water pipe :-(
Contacted After Hours Services, got a text message back quickly. Set up a time for the next day (the water was turned off, so it was annoying but not an emergency).
Will came out. Found the problem. Patched the leak, by splicing in a piece of copper pipe. Good work; fair price; nice guy!

We needed some large mirrors installed on one wall to create a workout studio, and this company was the fastest, friendliest, and most reasonably priced option we came across. They showed up reliably, were clean, hardworking, respectful of property, and persistent in solving some unexpected issues that arose due to some unforeseen irregularities in our wall and shortage of necessary supplies due to the urgent pandemic's effect on supply chains of all kinds. This company even brought workers in from other cities across the country when their current staff couldn't keep up with demand for new jobs. In the end, our mirrors are up, it all looks great, and they cleaned up everything nicely on the way out. I was really impressed, and would hire them again any day!

We had Seatown out for a 6 day full-house rewire, new electrical panel (200A) and service move (from back to front of house) in Dec 2021. This was the largest expense we planned for our home so we had incredibly high expectations going into it and they definitely met/exceeded them. From getting the initial quote to the final day of service they were absolutely awesome to work with.
Bradley was the primary electrician on the job and we appreciated his responsiveness to any questions/concerns we had, his honesty when we had bad ideas and how much pride he had in his work. They were all able to quickly understand how we use the house and adapt the circuits and plugs to suit our needs. Him and his crew were HUSTLING everyday they were here - it was insane how much they were able to accomplish in what felt like a short period of time.
I've already recommended this team to a few close friends because of how seriously they took the work and how easy it was to work with them.

I used Dean's Home Repair when my home was experiencing electrical problem.
While ~10 other electricians were all booked out for days, Dean was able to fight through traffic & come help on a late Friday afternoon. When he was running late due to downtown traffic, he called & updated me on his ETA.
He was spot on in quickly diagnosing the problem to be a Seattle City Light issue (one of the 2 incoming city power lines had substantially weakened voltage). Since he doesn't charge you unless he finds & repairs the issue, he declined to charge me anything. I gave him a big tip anyway.
I can't vouch for his competencies on major electrical work, but he'll definitely get my first call for electrical (& probably plumbing) repairs next time. He is responsive, up front on costs, & friendly.

Avoid these guys at all costs!!!
I feel obligated to share my experience with this company so that other folks don't repeat the same kind of tragedy.
On Monday evening, we noticed our toilet start to clog. When I flashed it, water backed up and was going to overflow. Some sewage water also came out of the bathtub.
So we called South West Plumbing and they came next morning. My wife signed a contract to pay $430 to snake the pipe (which I now believe is outrageously expensive). They took off the toilet and tried to snake it through but it didn't work. It was at this time I read Yelp reviews and began to be very concerned about their work.
I decided to go home early and have direct talk with them. When I returned, they suggested a camera be used to see what is really happening inside the pipe (which they said they will do without charge). They kept saying they have no idea how much the overall cost will be but said it could be between $1,000 - 10,000!!!
Then I asked what happens if we decided to not to use them any further.
What they did was just unbelievable.
The plumber rewrote the contract and asked us to pay for taking away and putting back the toilet. Price? $220+tax! Not only is it illegal to make a customer pay for the service he/she didn't agree to, they also did it in front of my eyes. And of course, they were not going to do a camera thing.
Before they left, they told us that our crawl space is full of sewage water and the toilet cannot be used at all. But the fact of matter is, they didn't even go into the crawl space (it turned out they were wrong)
Oh, I also forgot to mention, they left black smears on our white walls when they pulled in a hose.
Use this company if you would like to pay for more trouble.

I contacted Hunt's for a minor sewer line repair that already had been scoped and inspected. After surviving the painful back and forth communication with the receptionist ,(talents not related to plumbing or communication) I got a quote for more than $2867.00 plus tax.
I got another licensed bonded and reputable local plumber who did it for $450.00 plus tax. The job was done under an hour.
I know plumbers are expensive, but surely not $2867.00 an hour.
My 2 cents, keep away from these people if you earn your money by working for it.

I had a tiny but invasive leak in a copper pipe in my apartment. A neighbor said Beacon would come out right away, so I called. Two men arrived, a plumber and his brand-new apprentice. The senior man said he needed to drain the water from the pipes in order to fix the leak, but he was confused by the water system in the building. He asked me questions about our heating system in the building, which I could only answer regarding my apartment. I let him continue to investigate our system. At one point he informed me he would need access to all of the other units in order to drain the individual pipes. I found this odd, because a similar issue had occurred in the past and those plumbers did not have to gain access to each unit in order to drain the pipes. After another 20 minutes of looking around, he informed me that the job would be over $900. I declined, paid the service charge ($82) and sent him on his way. About 4 years ago I'd had Beacon out and they'd given me a similarly sky-high quote. I won't be making this mistake a third time.

Can't say enough good about this company. I needed septic repaired and every other company kept telling me it would cost up to 10 to 15 thousand to fix my system . A Advanced came out sucked out my system and with their modern high tech camera and tech devices were able to look down my drain fields and gave me a honest quote to repair and up date my system to make access easier for future needs they installed a filter system and and new access lids so no more digging up and trying to lift those heavy concrete lids.and repaired damaged drain fields. And all for 4 thousand dollars. The crew was very polite and professional. They keep area clean and keep me informed of their progress as they went along. Also would educate me as to the processes they were doing. The equipment they use is the latest in tech septic repair. GREAT company.GREAT team of employees.
I will use no other septic company but A Advanced Septic now.

Had a hot water tank go down on Sunday. Called Beacon and they said 'we'll take care of you right away. I asked if Sunday was overtime and he said, 'we work 7 days a week. I took that as a 'no'. He said he'd have one of their guys open soon and he'd give me a call withing the hour. Before I hung up and told them my hot water heater was a Rheem model and I'd like to keep it that way. He said not problem. Waited not more than 30 minutes and got the call. The Beacon plumber had another worker with them and they said they'd be right up. I stated that I had asked for a price for the work and hot water heater. They said to hold on and when they came back they said $3300, total. Hot water heater and labor. I said I wanted a Rheem hot water heater, and that I didn't want to get 'reamed'. That was too much. Long story short, I went and picked up a Rheem Platinum at Home Depot for $850, called a plumber on Yelp and his labor was $450 for the 1 and a half. That's a long way from $3300.

Trane heat pump stop working had Black Hills tech come out. For some reason heat pump started working again on its own. Black Hills tech made sure everything was in working order. Friendly and honest.
