My outlets stopped working in my 1906 house.  We scheduled an appt and then they said they were unable to make it.  They were nice enough to re-schedule for me and provide a discount for the inconvenience.  They provided pictures of the work - but would have liked to see an itemized list of what was actually done. I like they responded quickly and fit me in. The outlets work now and will probably use them again.

Quick update on our heat pump installation: Seatown failed electrical inspection twice and just failed HVAC inspection again for the THIRD time. They continue to work on their own schedule and not care at all about what we might need as a customer.

It's to the point where I'm kind of worried every night that my house is going to burn down. They have certainly not left me with much confidence in their abilities. Again, I really wanted to like this company...

Dean did both electrical and plumbing jobs for us.  He did an excellent job with both.  The sink for which we hired Dean to replace a broken faucet required more repairs than what we had originally thought but Dean explained what was needed and was able to do the extra work right away.  His pricing is fair, with high value for the quality of his work.  We would not hesitate to use Dean again.

Dominique recently repaired a sewage pipe at my parents house.Very good work and professional. They explained everything they worked on and made sure to show us the problems encountered. Cleaned up and put everything back that they had moved to start the job. Would highly recommend.

$730 to replace a hose bib, is ridiculous however. When the plumber told me the problem, I debated doing it myself, and he gave me BS about how complicated it was, so I let him do it.... just replaced the hose bib. Must have been $600 for 1 hour of labor.

Last night, I thought with all the rain, it was funny that my hillside house's sump pump hadn't kicked in.  Sure enough, I went into my basement to discover that with a dead sump pump, groundwater was oozing in.

It's 11:30pm, what do I do?

We had a Beacon Plumbing advertising magnet on the side of our fridge, so I called them.  Immediately, a professional picked up and forwarded my service request to a technician already in the field.

Within five minutes the tech called me to confirm my request.  Within one hour he was at my house.  Then a mere two hours later, a new sump pump was humming away, with disaster averted.  I am still breathing many sighs of relief.

I felt their fee, which included an automatic show-up charge of $100, was probably reasonable (any repair expense seems spendy).  

Because Beacon got things fixed so quickly, no damage occurred.   Their technician was a really cool guy, very reassuring and patient.  Obviously, he knew what he was doing and worked quickly.  Beacon also provided me a reference for a tech who specialized in water drying services, but luckily I will not need.

A heartfelt thanks for a great job.

I had an emergency last night with my septic. I have never had septic before moving here and when I needed help, Adam & Lennie went above and beyond. Adam chatted with me and Lennie called helping ease my concerns. I had tried reaching out to other companies but these were the only ones who came through. Tony and Victor came to service my furnace today.  They did a top notch job.  Explained everything (including costs) and left everything spotless.  Gave me some furnace tips to keep it in better shape. I trust them enough that I paid in advance for them to come back again next year (saved some money too).  Job # 293156

Very professional local company.  Yes, I've gotten a little cheaper quotes from out of town companies, but this one is a local business and they've always been responsive.  They installed our furnace and did a retrofit for ducting.  I am very pleased with the quality of work and the continued maintenance plan.  I always recommend Black Hills.
