Best Kitchen Remodeling in San Francisco CA

I've used Chung Wah Plumbing for the past 12 years. They initially helped me with a major remodel, and subsequently with several smaller plumbing tasks along the way. Their employees are hard working and competent. Steve (their boss) is knowledgeable and responsive. Their hourly rates are comparable to other plumbers but the Chung Wah job will cost less because they work super fast. Why? Because they're busy and need to get to their next job. If you want to experience Asian work ethic, hire them and watch them work!

Damon and Brian really took great care of the leaking problem with my kitchen sink and a challenging electrical issue. Communication was great throughout, and both were very professional.

Even though wiring up a knob and tube set of switches to work as three-way lights took a lot of ingenuity and went way over time, Brian kept at it and never made me feel like I was anything other than his most important client. There wasn't ever a question about the extra charges for that, either, even though it was not discovered how old the wiring was until it was opened up.

For the sink, it turned out that the air gap hose still had a leak the day after, and Damon wrote back to me immediately (after midnight, even!) to schedule a follow up the next day. Brian again made it all right.

I used them for dishwasher removal and installation, sink disposal removal and installation and very basic faucet washer replacement. Jorge and his crew are professional, friendly, respectful and informative. Jorge a.k.a. George is very efficient and thorough, and always leaves the workspace clean. He had to do a work around on my dishwasher job because the area required it for the upgrade and he took care of it without any complications. I would hire him for more complex work as well. Very helpful staff assisted me in troubleshooting my home heating system.

Guy wouldn't give me a quote until I told him what floor we lived on. Seems a little unfair to charge people for what floor they live on. When I asked how the floor I live on affected the quote, he got upset with me. I thought it was a fair question. They may have a very competent service. I will never know.

Edward is AMAZING! He was super responsive, communicated clearly, let me know exactly what he was doing and how. When I had to reschedule the follow up, he helped me arrange a time that worked for us. He even made a video of the before and after so I knew exactly what changed! Edward also made clear to me some things he saw that should get fixed soon, without pressuring me to do it asap. (That said, we are doing it soon, and we are getting it done with Edward!)

Norman did a great job, patching 20+ holes, and several medium sized patches in orange peel (textured) drywall, fixed doors that previously wouldn't close, took out phone jacks and patched hardwood. He did everything to meet our high standards. He was polite, good communicator, and did his work for a fair price. We'll be sure to call him back for future jobs!

I called and spoke with Yevgeny to talk about a potential project and find out more details to understand whether the cost/benefit made sense. I really appreciate his candor, honesty, and detail in talking through the potential project. He is very knowledgeable, provided multiple cost estimates to think through to minimize potential surprises, and was a wealth of information. We are still in the initial phases of determining next steps, but I will definitely reach back out and want to work Yevgeny on other projects.

Leo and Amber have been absolutely phenomenal! We had some extensive work done in our garage and driveway to fix bellies in our sewer line. Not only did Neighborhood Plumbing offer the best price and the best warranty, but their communication was great and the work was finished promptly.

After the work was done, Leo came back to the house to walk me through what was done and scope the pipe live so I could verify the fix. When the soil subsided after where the trench had been dug, Leo and his team quickly came back to the house to fix any imperfections.

They say you can never finish remodeling your house. Not only it takes a lot of hard-earned money, energy and time, it seems to have this ongoing tension and lots of disappointment when you trust the wrong people. At least that's how we felt when we stared our bathroom remodel last year. The contractors whom we originally hired demolished everything and then told us that some unexpected circumstances came up and we'll have to pay more than double of the original quote. I started searching for alternative companies in the Bay Area and after several attempts when I was already pretty desperate to find a reasonable price I finally discovered Mr. Unger's Remodeling. His estimate was free, very timely, professional, with surprisingly low prices for the quality materials he offered. From the moment we hired him to the last minute touch-ups, his crew worked in an exceptionally efficient and satisfying way, and Dan would personally check the work every single day or at least call us to make sure we are seeing the expected results. Each question or concern we had were thoroughly discussed and clarified if needed. We are very happy with the new bathroom we enjoy now and will definitely contact Mr. Unger again when we decide to transform our kitchen.

Luis and his team were rather great.  FAIR and transparent pricing.  Good and consistent communication.  On time arrival as promised.  Good value and good work product.  They got the job done and I would highly recommend them for repairs and new projects for your home or business.  I appreciated that they stayed with the estimate and were fair.  Good team!
