We called Steve early on a Saturday morning after our fire sprinkler was accidentally broken and sprayed water all over our apartment.  Steve was at the house within a few hours, replaced the sprinkler, and turned the water back on.  We really appreciated his quick and professional service.  He also gets high marks for being a Golden State Warriors fan!

I have a  house built in 1926 and I have owned it for 28 years and in that time repair people have come and gone. I have yet found anyone for any length of time that stayed in the area that I wanted back to do additional jobs. I think Berkeley Home Repair with Damon and Daniel are people you can trust, inviting into your home ,to get a job done in a timely and efficient manner. I had ceiling fans and lights installed and they were working with a combination of old and new wiring. What a web of problems they encountered but handled. The finishing work, they covered gaps between ceiling and fan fixtures , the extra stability of the fans, and the way they were able to make them quieter was beyond the average.  I'm very pleased and I'm looking forward to putting together other projects that we can work on.  I had a number of bids for my job, his was not the least expensive, and Damon came across professional, experienced, good references,  I and pleasant to talk with
I made the right decision, this was a pleasant and productive project done with people I can comfortably call back to work with me in my home

This is another time these guys have bailed me out with a fix for complicated plumbing problems.  Very creative problem solvers... I thank them and my tenant thanks them. At the top of my Roledex (if any one remembers those)

I needed someone to repair our grease trap ASAP, and came across AMX Plumbing. It was perfect b/c they were right around the corner from us in the financial! I gave them a call and Max responded immediately! He came in the same day and gave me an estimate. Next thing we knew, he repaired our grease trap at a much reasonable price than anywhere else!!! I have worked with Eddy from Bonafide Plumbing on a number of occasions. He has akways been extremely professional, competent, and pleasant to work with. His prices are fair, and he makes sure that the work done is high quality. I would recommend him to anyone.

Yevgeny is fast, efficient, honest, reasonably priced, and a delight to work with. I called him on Sunday afternoon to report a plumbing issue at my parents' house. He agreed to visit at 11am the next morning, and he arrived on time (he even called me twenty minutes before his arrival to confirm the visit and let me know he was on his way). He quickly discovered what the plumbing problem was, quoted a very reasonable rate, and took care of the issue in no time. He was also very kind and professional with my parents, in particular my Dad, which I greatly appreciated. The consensus with my family is that Yevgeny is terrific and we will definitely use him for all of our future plumbing/contracting jobs.

After putting if off for several years, we decided to repair our sagging sewer line. Called Leo in the morning, we met at noon and I had a firm quote by the evening. I'm sure we all know how rare that is. It was a big job but Leo and his crew were fantastic. Arrived every day when he said he would and kept us informed all the way. And the price was more than fair. If we had known it could go this smoothly, we would have done it sooner! On a personal note, it was a great reminder to someone like me, who is in business for themselves (and a little older) to treat every new client like he's your first one. Thanks, Leo!

I regret writing the review.  Not because I necessarily support his speaking over top of me very loudly mid-sentence.  That is obviously an issue he has, and it is not uncommon.  It is however a very unfortunate way to treat potential customers.  I will say that during his speech on permits I tried to cut in twice and could not, so take that for what it's worth.  Because he was so loud and not willing to listen so he could hear that I have a permit I have a hard time imagining that he will listen when planning the project.

I regret writing the review because he felt the need to call me at least twice afterwards and to write to me personally.  I really do not need continuing contact.  So, here's the thing, I did not have him do any work for me nor will I.  His work may be good or not.  However, I personally will not work with someone who speaks over top of me and does not listen for any feedback during their initial interaction.  I have learned from experience that if this happens early, it will happen again and again.  

I am moving the stars up so that maybe he'll stop trying to contact me to explain yet again that he was merely trying to help me by not listening to me at all.

We had 2 flow showers and 2 other plumbing problems and LFM efficiently and cost effectively took care of them all.  Courteous.  I'd use them again.
