I had Collins Pacific install two 75-gallon gas water heaters at my home.  I had 4 other quotes from local plumbing companies.  Collins Pacific was the only one that provided a virtual quote based on the pictures that I sent.  I received a quote back very quickly and all of the various options were covered.  The quotes I received from the other companies were considerably higher for the same work and the same tanks.  I went with Collins Pacific based on the most competitive price and responsiveness to my inquiries.

Two trucks and two plumbers arrived this morning exactly at the time they said they would arrive.  We went through the job together.  I asked my questions, set up the expectations of what I wanted and they went through what they were planning to do to install the two tanks.  All of the work was done to my satisfaction.  They spent roughly six hours to install the two tanks.  I did have to run to the hardware store to pick up a brass connector they didn't have so they could install the expansion tank the way I wanted.  I noted a few drips that required the connections to be tightened, but after we went through the system, everything looked great and appears to be functioning as expected.  They cleaned up the workspace nicely.  

Bottom line:  Collins Pacific was responsive, provided a virtual estimate, provided competitive pricing, showed up as agreed to and on time, did all of the work we agreed to in a timely manner, cleaned up nicely, packed up the old tanks and left.  Everything I would expect to get a high rating for the work they did.

We have used TL Premier Plumbing many times and will for sure use them again in the future. The employees are very professional , friendly and do great work. Donald came out to replace our water pressure regulator. Donald did a great job and finished quickly. The last few times we needed TL Premier Plumbing was to replace 60 year old cast iron pipes. The work was done extremely well , with great care and very clean. They are very helpful , answer all questions you have and keep you updated on the progress throughout the entire job. We had a kitchen sink and laundry sink leaking, due to old cast iron pipes. I called community plumbing and within 20 min they showed up and checked out the situation. They had a cancellation and where able to do the job the next day.
Tony & Eric showed up on time, wearing a mask, did a great job working around me running a daycare with little toddlers around and cleaning up afterwards. Both are very nice and easy to talk to..

I had a shower drain which I could not get unclogged. My house only has one bathroom, so I really needed this fixed. After calling about a dozen other plumbers and being told I'd have to wait days for someone to come out, I called Discount Plumbing. They had a plumber at my house in a matter of hours!

I've had two experiences with this team.  Omar was the first one to show up on location on both occasions.  My first experience involved his team addressing a laundry room water source leak.  As soon as Omar looked at the issue, he had one of his team members come and address the issue on the same day.  After this experience I remembered their professionalism and, importantly when it comes to water issues, their speedy ability to come out on-site.  When it came time for me to handle some shower faucet replacements, I reached out to Omar.  Not only did he have a day scheduled for me immediately, he also provided some education on the faucets and brands I was looking at.  Jose was the one that came out the day to do the work.  I'm glad he did because the job was more involved than I would have been able to handle on my own.  Jose was kind enough to pull me in and show me when he did some of the replacement steps, which I appreciated in case I ever needed to make changes in the future.  I'll definitely reach out to Omar and his team again for my plumbing needs.

Called to request clean-out of drain line under driveway using hydrojetting.  The RDZ team responded quickly to all of my questions and concerns.  Job scheduled right away and team arrived on time.  Work performed quickly and effectively.  Reasonable price! Will plan to call this team again, as this is a recurring need for our house.

PEX vs copper

i've been told how great copper tubing is, yet the more i talk to people, i hear how their copper tubing had issues, leaks, pinholes, etc.  (note:  don't confuse copper 'tubing' and copper 'pipes'.   copper tubing is VERY thin.  and many times these days, the tubing that is used is the thinest possible.  thin = greater chance of problems later.

i know PEX is a relatively new product and the first generation of it had some issues, but as long as its used according to directions, i believe in some applications, it is the perfect solution.

basically, PEX  is super strong hose that is used in lieu of copper tubing.  generally, must easier/quicker to install because you don't have all the connections, soddering, etc.  you connect at one end, run the hose to where you need it, then connect at the other end.  most new construction these days uses PEX.

Their prices are extremely competitive and they were able to come out on same day notice within a 2 hour window. I was scheduled for 12-2pm and Gino showed up promptly at 12pm ready to go. He worked cleanly and efficiently, and happily answered every question I had along the way. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

James worked very deliberately and took extra care to ensure that his work was superior.  I liked his serious attitude and professionalism.  When a problem was detected that he was not terribly comfortable with the options for solutions,  he called his superior John who, really knows what he is doing and was very competent and solved the problem quickly and efficiently.  I will use these folks in the future.  Their rates are competitive.

Aaron came out to my propperty dude to a faulty angle stop under my kitchen sink. He was professional friendly and the price was super reasonable, I will for sure be spreading the word about these guys.

I talked to Chris at 7:30 on a Saturday night on a holiday weekend when my bathtub backed up. He was very helpful, spending time to help me fix the issue. It turned out the issue resolved itself and he didn't need to come out, but I appreciated the time and effort. I will be using him in the future for any plumbing issues that I end up dealing with.
