Crafton Plumbing Plumbing Service
Crafton did an excellent job. He and his assistant showed up on time and completed the job in only one day. New hot water heater, shut off valve, and  copper pipes. His assistant discovered an active termite colony in the crawl space. He used to work for a pest control company so he was familiar with termites and their damage.
The large job came in under the quote because he didn't have to snake two drains. And it was done in one day versus the quoted two days.
I highly recommend Crafton plumbing.

Great company to work with. I called late at night for a clogged drain and received a quick response. I was extremely satisfied with the service and the price was a great value! Will definitely recommend and use this company again in the future!

Water heater problem. Gave a FREE estimate. Terry himself works with the crew. Polite, fast, trustworthy & professional. In and out under 3 hours. Fair on price. Doesn't bullshit you. Recommendable.

J.E. Redington Plumbing Plumbing Service
Scheduled a visit for an estimate to run a water line to a refrigerator and install a drain pipe from my HVAC to the exterior corner of the house and a couple other things. The gentleman who visited was very polite and helpful. Everything after that is absurd. A WEEK later I finally get the estimate where not only did they not list the parts/labor for the estimate, and break them down per task which I specifically asked them to do. They also didn't even include the two other things I asked them for quotes on. But the best part was their unbelievable estimate of $1255 to take $75 of parts and at best two hours of labor.

Cordia Plumbing Plumbing Service
Horrible experience both with the plumber and with the office after the plumber's visit.  The plumber didn't fix the problem, which I understand.  There were reasons the faucet could not be fixed.  However, the plumber actually made the problem worse.  We called a competent plumber to have the system repaired.

I would strongly suggest you try another plumber instead of Cordia.

Ladue Handyman Plumbing Service
Christian handled a whole house of work for us when we were pressured to get our house on the market, from the roof to the basement.  He adjusted  to our schedule and worked around the other activities that were going on at the same time. Quality work, fairly priced.

Anton’s Plumbing Heating/Cooling & Energy Experts Plumbing Service
Gosh, I wish I had read reviews before hiring them.

So, first things first, the guys they send out as well as their customer service representatives are very polite.

Having said that, this company does not seem to be in the business of maintenance, they are more of a you want to buy a new system type of company.

Their maintenance (and those are big quotes) service is cheaper than going with a certified dealer for your particular furnace/ac.

As a new homeowner I needed to have some maintenance done no my furnace as I have no idea where that thing has been, the guy that came out immediately gasped at the sight of it, turns out, the line of furnace that I have had fame for giving people carbon monoxide poisoning, I ask him about my carbon monoxide detectors and he tells me would not trust my life in a 40 dollars detector.

I start asking questions, he starts finding defects in a 60 year old house where people lived there basically their whole life with no issues. He tells me the ducts are too small, the unit is too big and basically that I need an entire overhaul of the system. He also applies some good old fearmongering when I start questioning him about the furnace and basically leaves me with the impression that the thing is a death trap but I can do with that information what I want.

Without me asking first, he starts building a quote for a new system, this was also done after only a visual inspection of the unit, no service or maintenance was done, when I setup the appointment they told me the service included a filter, he did not even replaced that (I also washed my electronic filter by myself).

So he leaves, I stand in awe. Did I actually bought a death trap?

Fortunately, there is a whole world of information out there. Turns out the furnace that I have was indeed from a line that had an active recall on them IF THEY WERE PURCHASED 5 YEARS BEFORE MINE, so he failed to mention that the death trap was actually an older model. There is also an actual service that can be performed to them, however the

I go and get some Carbon Monoxide detectors, sitting pretty at 0 blasting the heat all the way up to 80.

Final thoughts, the guy that came out, seemed to be willing to help (he even mentioned the carbon monoxide monitors instead of just an alarm), however, he lacked the complete information about the furnace that I have, neglected to replace the filters or really perform any maintenance other than a visual inspection. The feeling that I had is that he was actually been directed to try and push new systems.

Also, if you are going to replace your furnace, shop around, their maintenance plan is cheap, but their furnaces and installation services are actually outrageously high.

Swift Plumbing & Home Remodeling Plumbing Service
A few years ago, our sump pump stopped working during a torrential rainstorm.  Swift Plumbing came out, as they were the plumbers our home warranty company notified.  The plumber did a great job and was very professional.  A few years later, the sump pump had a problem, and Swift came out, installed a new pump, also very professionally.  Swift had stopped using the first pump as it had been experiencing problems, and gave me a fair discount on the second service call because of that.  Swift if the first plumber I will call the next time I need plumbing help.

Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services Plumbing Service
We are so angry with this companies business tactics. We called for bid on new heating and cooling system for 1,900 sq ft single story house. After taking two evenings of our time evaluating the home, we sat down with the technician to receive the quote. Started off with major sales pitch, first quote was $43,000 to replace furnace. When my husband told him this was an absolutely ridiculously high price he came down to $28,000. Still absurdly high. Then asked us what would you pay? What?? It's negotiable like a used car lot? He then came down to $15,000 for a lesser efficient system. His non verbals exhibited his irritation with us for not immediately purchasing. Furnace system not a well known brand to us. We were so done at this moment. No trust in someone trying to overcharge up front. We received a bid from reputable installer and it was much less than $10,000. We will NEVER use this company again.

Hoffmann Brothers Plumbing Service
We used Hoffmann Brothers for several projects. A few years ago, they replaced our furnace upstairs, adjacent to our children's rooms. I had them come back out multiple times (which they charged me to do) because the brand new furnace was making very loud and weird clicking noises. I was told (again, after being charged) several times that there was nothing wrong. We lived with the awful sound for several years until I finally had someone else come out (Rothe - AMAZING) and he fixed it in 10 minutes with a part he found was under warranty. Will never use Hoffmann again.
