My Home warranty company had them Come out to clear our sink backing up and lake under the sink. Took a little over an d hour new piping and cleared the clog in the sink. Gabriel and his partner did great job.

Trevor was great.  Fair price, good work, and was able to deal with all the little hassles a 50+ year old house has.  Would definitely recommend and will hire again in the future

This was my first time connecting with a plumber via Yelp and I could not be more pleased!  Luke arrived a few minutes early, which I really like.  The work was done quickly and the result was a flawless repair.  I really appreciate owner run businesses, they take great pride in their work and go the extra mile.  Ohnstad Pluming is now my go to plumber.  Highly recommend you use him for your plumbing needs and, yes, the 530 area code is correct. :)

I can say that Don is my plumber from now on.  His price was right in line with the online cost estimators AND he insisted on doing the job correctly. Other quotes I got were a lot higher and they were going to take the shortcut of tapping into an existing gas line instead of running a new pipe back to the meter. He answers the phone himself or calls you back right away. He's pleasant, explains everything, shows up on time, and does a nice clean professional job.

Long review, but I feel you need the backstory.

My tub was slow to drain, and I purchased a Home Warranty a couple years ago, so I put in a claim. The company sent out Roto Rooter. I figured, it's a National company, so they should be able to fix this, right?

Well, after the guys said they snaked the drain about 10 feet, the snake wouldn't go any farther. They said, because the house was old, the line needed to be replaced. Sounded reasonable. The bill after snaking the line was over $260! AND....my tub drained slower than before they got there!

In comes Rooter Bee's AJ. He was super logical even on the phone call, and was able to come out the next day. He was prompt, clean, courteous, and incredibly smart and logical in diagnosing what could be happening.

AJ did a full diagnosis before starting to work, which the other plumbers did not. He went into the crawl space and found MY LINE HAD ALREADY BEEN REPLACED!!!  Roto Rooter's guys never went into the crawl space, and if I had taken their professional opinion, they would've charged me for a replacement that was unnecessary!

After coming out of the crawlspace, AJ snaked the drain, and in 20 minutes, it was cleared. His invoice to me was LESS than Roto Rooter, and my problem was fixed!

As long as he will have me as a client, AJ will be my one and only plumber!

This was my first time using Preferred Plumbing & Drain for my plumbing needs. Overall I was very pleased with the work their technician George had done. I had a 1st generation tankless water heater that was no longer supplying hot water to my home. I decided to replace the outdated tankless water heater with a standard water heater. George the technician arrived and assessed the job prior to starting and had indicated that the water heaters could be changed out. The pricing was affordable and the fact that service was rendered the same day was great!

I think our experience with Friendly Plumbing was about as good an experience as one can have while doing a complete bathroom remodel including new fixtures, hardware and moving some pipes.

Friendly Plumbing was professional, friendly, kept their appointments, handled the surprises (and there were several) well, and did a quality job with quality parts across more visits than I think we both expected (in part due to surprises on other parts of the remodel job they weren't responsible for).

To top it off, their going-in estimate, while not the lowest (they were highly recommended by someone we trust so we went with them), felt reasonable. Their final bill was also about as close to the estimate as one could expect. While I'm guessing it is impossible to know what  the specific surprises will be in a given remodel project, allowing for surprises in the estimate so as to set customer expectations and provide flexibility is apparently something they do really well (and was much appreciated on our end).

I highly recommend Friendly Plumbing based on my experience with them.

Josh was extremely thorough in replacing the parts needed to fix an older heating unit. He came over quickly to do the repairs and had very good communication. The pricing was fair for the parts and labor - I will definitely be using his services again.

When it comes to plumbing needs, do yourself a favor and stay away from Johnson Plumbing.   Their final price came in $1345 higher than their initial quote ($4000).  I tried meeting with Mike, the guy responsible for the job.  He was professional and tried to explain the increase.  When I asked to talk to his boss, Joe stepped up and immediately threatened me with a lien if I didn't pay my bill.  I explained that I was willing to pay the bill but thought $1345 over the initial quote was unreasonable.

After paying the bill in full that day I went to their office to talk to the owner of the company.  I was told that Joe, the one who threatened me with a lien, was the owner, and then I was even more surprised.  

Approximately two weeks later David from Johnson Plumbing called to apologize for the owner's comments.  He also advised that Johnson was willing to reimburse me for 10% of the total cost. Although this made things a little less painful, I still paid $4810 on a job quoted at $4000.

Service was exceptional! I did not expect them to get back to me at 9 pm on a weeknight when I submitted my request through Yelp...I had a response in 5 minutes, telling me how to shut my water off and assuring me someone would be at my home at 7 am. This was followed up by a phone call in the morning and then Jesse showed up right on time. It was a much quicker fix than I had anticipated and the price did not hurt either. Look, no one WANTS to call a plumber. But when you have to, call Hoffman! They made it so easy and painless I will definitely be using them again and recommend to all.

Do not call Rot-Rooter! I called them because my property management company recommended me to. I asked for a basic price and was told they could not give a price. Yet when the technician showed up two days later, he told me that the basic price is $285 for one drain. Had they told me that on the phone I would have said forget it.

Unfortunately, since I had waited two days for the appointment and both my tenant and I had taken time off work to meet him, and because my tenant was so furious about waiting so long with a backed up drain, I had no choice but to tell him to go ahead. I could've had this done two days ago for much less. I expected it to be about $150.

Not only that, I specifically said many times that we needed to be called before he got there because both of us would be at work. That message was never relayed to the technician thereby wasting even more of our time.

Looking at the reviews, had I just taken the time to search for reviews prior to this experience, I could've saved myself aggravation, time and money. Very distressed about this experience. I think that $300 to clear a drain is just absolutely outrageous and I never ever would have agreed to that if I weren't under pressure.

I had a serious leak in main water valve that controlled water into the house.  He is very busy but said the nature of the leak needs immediate attention and came out first thing in am. They were fast working and real pro's. This valve was changed two years ago by Ben Franklin Plumbing with a very inferior valve for about twice the price and twice t he time to fix. Thank you Joe for great service.
