Johnson Plumbing Plumbing Service
We were pleased to have a free estimate, rather than pay for a service call to tell us that our old toilet just needed a new wax ring.  They even accepted a $25 off coupon for the call!  Because we were so pleased, we had other upgrades scheduled with them in the near future.

Desert Air Plumbing Service
Do not use this company. They don't understand how to operate a contracting business.

They were hired to fix a heater. They made 2 trips to my apartment. The first, the tech didn't have a very common part on his truck, so he left, and left us without heat for the night. The second trip included arriving at the apartment, going to the store, getting the parts and repairing the unit.

I was billed for 2 trips and 3 hours. I have replaced the part in question, the motor mounts, myself. It took me less than an hour to do. I was out of town on this occasion and could not fix it myself. I asked them to reconsider the invoice. They should have had the part on their truck, this is a very common heater that uses a generic motor mount that is common to many other heaters throughout town. They should have had it on their truck.

It is forgivable that they didn't have it on their truck, but to charge me to go get it is not. I paid for a newbie tech to go to the job twice and spend hours getting parts, and take much longer than normal for a very simple job. Under this current billing scheme, they would be rewarded for never carrying a part on their truck. That way they could bill everybody for hours-on-end driving back and forth to the parts store. This is not how business in America works.

If you would like to pay to train someone and for him to go on a shopping spree, scenic drive, lunch break, and nose picking, this is your company! Their number is (775) 359-0656.

These guys refuse to wear masks and enter the homes of older, vulnerable people who are greatly at risk for Covid 19 infections.
Workers say they don't believe the hoax about Covid and will not wear a mask even if customer offers it.
Avoid.

Allen Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning Plumbing Service
I am happy to add my 5 star review to the list of them below.   I had the house heater stop working in my house in Reno during a very cold snap.   I was very fortunate that Lamont was available to go out that same day.   He diagnosed the problem to be carbon build up inside the furnace which caused stop working,  he cleaned everything up, and got it working again for a reasonable fee.   I highly recommend this company !

D & D Plumbing Plumbing Service
I have had nothing but great response and service from D&D plumbing. I made the mistake of peeling a few too many hardboiled eggs (no one told me you shouldn't put them down the disposal .. OOPS!) and clogging up the disposal/drain. They got someone out to my house and he had the problem fixed in no time after he got all the eggshells out. I was turned onto this company from a friend when I told them what was wrong and they steered me in the right direction.

All Hours Air Plumbing Service
After dealing with the amateur that our landlady sent over and having an 82 year old mother who gets cold easily,  I decided to look on Yelp for an HVAC service company to deal with the issue our furnace was having, saw multiple very positive reviews for Jason and All Hours Air and decided to give him a call.  Jason was able to quickly and efficiently diagnose the furnace's issue and got it fixed.  Thankfully the furnace didn't need any additional parts and Jason was able to get the furnace running properly with just the cost of the service call.  The best part is, if in the event that the furnace starts having any other issues, Jason let me know that he lives in my neighborhood. Thank you so much Jason!

Marraccini Plumbing Heating & Cooling Plumbing Service
My Air Conditioning went out in the middle of August.  I called Marraccini and the receptionist was friendly.  The service tech was fast and very friendly.  The tech explained to me that to tell me what is wrong was going to cost $60.  I agreed and I think that is fair.

The problem was a capacitor (start capacitor I think).  I Googled this capacitor and it cost less than $15 dollars.  My bill was almost $300!  It only took the tech 5 minutes to replace this part so I paid WAY too much for parts and labor.

I would have been ok paying another $60 flat rate labor and even up to $30 for a $15 part but $300 was pure greed.

Dans Plumbing & Heating Plumbing Service
I have the highest praise for Dan's professionalism in completing a plumbing job that at first seemed simple- a couple of leaks- but became more complicated as he discovered that my older manufactured home has pipes that are dated and no longer in code.  This required him to pick up special parts to do the job correctly.  His initial quote seemed quite reasonable, but he ran several hours over the estimated time the job would take. Yet he held to his word and said the quote stood.  While I respect his integrity, I wrote him a check substantially higher to cover his extra hours.  It is a pleasure to find an honest, skilled tradesman, and I strongly recommend him.

Paul's Heating & Air Plumbing Service
They should offer Negative stars......I would rate Paul's Plumbing and Heating a NEGATIVE - MILLION STARS.......

The products are defective and the technician wasn't qualified. The technician was more interested in my personal life than fixing the problem.

It has been less than a year and the same problem. I left 5 messages and finally reached someone at 8:12am. They first denied replacing the part until I provided the date and invoice information. She said they didn't have time today for warranty claims and would check the schedule. After being put on hold for a long time, she said the soonest would be the middle of next week. When I pushed the issue they agreed to have someone come tomorrow (Saturday) and she made a point of telling me they don't normally work on Saturday!!!.

I was concerned about the temperature dropping to 20 degrees, the technician showing up on Saturday and the technicians qualifications, so I continued my search and hired a qualified company to fix the problem today. The result: Paul's technician either put the same worn igniter back in the unit or damaged the new igniter by touching it or improper installation. Also, the new hot water heater and installation cost was $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
I told the technician the competitors cost and he said he match the price. The result: Upon completion of the job, he added additional labor and the price was the same that he originally quoted...RIPOFF.

I hope my review helps others. DO NOT CALL PAUL'S HEATING AND PLUMBING.

BTW.....I left a message at the office regarding the cost and she called back asking what email to send an invoice. I told her Paul's need to reimburse me. The result: I will have someone call you Monday.

Buyer be ware.

Bradley Electrical, Plumbing, & Heating Plumbing Service
We were taking a weekend at our house in Incline Village when the power in half the house went out. I know a little about finding the problem (looking at the fuse box, etc.), but nothing seemed out of place. So I called Bradley Electrical to get it sorted out. He answered the phone on a Sunday, which was great, and then tried to talk me through finding a fix without spending the money to have him come out and look at it. With no fix, he came out, was there in 45 minutes, and took the time to walk me through what he was doing to show me the problem. He determined that the B electrical path into the house was down, which meant a problem with the NV Power supply. He then called NV Power to alert them to the problem, and told me to have them call him if there was any problem getting reimbursed for his trip to the house. Absolutely incredible service. thanks again!!
