Best Pipe Repair in Reno NV

I had a leak and pipe burst relating to my sprinkler system and so the sprinkler repair guy said I needed to call a plumber! So I pulled up yelp and just started calling down the list. A lot of the guys were either booked and busy or do not service our area especially over this three day weekend! I finally got to Van Allen plumbing and the owner took my call. I was looking for someone asap and he was able to send someone next morning at 8am! Talk about service! His worker did an excellent job and i was pleased he was able to get the job done at a reasonable price! If you need fast help and someone reliable try this company out please! John of Bertani can out to our home on a Saturday afternoon to provide us with expert advice on what should be done to correct an isssue with a shower stall that was leaking.  He was very clear as to how the problem would be correct and shared many tips as to how it could be done in an economical way and still maintaining a high level of quality. Sam was AMAZING!! 2 other plumbers told me my sewer line was a lost cause, and even collapsed. Sam got in there and spent time and considerable skill and got me working again. He gave me all sorts of great advice on how to maintain things. He is my guy!! I would recommend him to anyone.

Today was my first time calling Trever & he was very nice & knowledgeable.  My mother is 90 years old & very hard of hearing, but Trever was very patient answering her questions. We had a leak & water was all over the garage. He quickly found the problem & was fixed! Trever also cleaned up the mess for us. My mother & I will be calling Trever next week to pickup & install a new water softener unit.  We highly recommend Trever!!  We have quite a few household repairs & we will be calling on Trever for the job.

John was great. Ultimately he did not provide any plumbing services for our house, but he did spend over 10 minutes with me on the phone talking through all the various potential issues and the various options I could choose. He even had a recommendation to do it myself if I didn't want to have to pay a plumber! Imagine that, an honest business man suggesting something that could take business from himself! He did recommend me to go with another plumbing company, which turned out to be a fantastic recommendation (see my other plumber reviews for details).

There is a reason that this company has the earliest business license in Reno and is still in business today. They have great employees and are honest!  Roxie recently installed two new toilets for us and I must say that she is a beast. She is one of the hardest workers I have seen!  I was totally impressed!  I highly recommend Savage & Son for your plumbing needs!

Let me start by saying the price was fair and the plumber they sent, Ken, was on time. He did a great job, was personable and answered all of my questions...including some dumb ones, I'm sure!

Look no further. This is the Master Plumber with a heart, and 5 Star Plumbing Services richly deserves the 5 star rating I award them. Within ten minutes of meeting David, I knew I'd gotten lucky. I was looking to have all the old galvanized and copper piping replaced in my old mobile home. I'm normally a diehard DIYer, but this was out of my league. Most places I called wouldn't even touch the job, others hit me with eye-popping, unreasonable estimates. David, however, immediately understood my situation and it didn't faze him. His estimate was extremely fair, and I jumped on it. But the good stuff didn't stop there. He fit me right into his schedule and showed up when expected. I was stunned at how much he took possession of the job. It seemed as if he was doing it for his own home. Every detail was accounted for, and he spared no expense with materials, using quality Pex A piping to totally repipe my house. Initially, he found that the main shutoff valve required a shorty curb key, and after buying one specifically for the job, he presented it to me for future use at no charge. And it didn't stop there. He encountered an additional problem with the faucet in my kitchen, and replaced it at no additional labor cost (and all with a smile). He also took the time to give me some plumbing tips for the future, and made sure to clean up old piping before he signed off on the job. To top it off, he has a good sense of humor, a winning personality, and a trustworthy demeanor. He is as conscientious and professional a tradesman as anyone could wish for, and by the time he was finished, I knew without a doubt he was a diamond in the rough. Also, I give big kudos to Barbara. She's the other half of the business, and it was a real pleasure to hear such a pleasing and friendly voice on the phone when I first made contact. Needless to say, I will look no further the next time I need any plumbing work, and I highly recommend 5 Star Plumbing to the people of Reno and surrounding area. You will not find better.

Called Don on a Tuesday afternoon to ask about a hot water recirculating system. He asked a couple questions, quoted a price and said he could do the job the next day at 3. He showed up right at 3 and went to work. He explained the process to me as he worked and was done in an hour. The bill was the price quoted. Extremely pleased. Highly recommended.

Fernando, helped my client and I with a sewer inspection. Fernando was just great. He was a straight up guy, reasonable in price, and committed to serving the client! He got back to us quickly and stayed in communication throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend his services!

Long review, but I feel you need the backstory.

My tub was slow to drain, and I purchased a Home Warranty a couple years ago, so I put in a claim. The company sent out Roto Rooter. I figured, it's a National company, so they should be able to fix this, right?

Well, after the guys said they snaked the drain about 10 feet, the snake wouldn't go any farther. They said, because the house was old, the line needed to be replaced. Sounded reasonable. The bill after snaking the line was over $260! AND....my tub drained slower than before they got there!

In comes Rooter Bee's AJ. He was super logical even on the phone call, and was able to come out the next day. He was prompt, clean, courteous, and incredibly smart and logical in diagnosing what could be happening.

AJ did a full diagnosis before starting to work, which the other plumbers did not. He went into the crawl space and found MY LINE HAD ALREADY BEEN REPLACED!!!  Roto Rooter's guys never went into the crawl space, and if I had taken their professional opinion, they would've charged me for a replacement that was unnecessary!

After coming out of the crawlspace, AJ snaked the drain, and in 20 minutes, it was cleared. His invoice to me was LESS than Roto Rooter, and my problem was fixed!

As long as he will have me as a client, AJ will be my one and only plumber!

Although Jet was the 3rd place I called it was the BEST! Appreciated Travis and his attention to detail. He did a great job with the installation - quick & efficient. We are very happy with this installation. This was not an emergency installation it was in advance as the WH was 15+ years old.

Call #1 - owner was in Sparks & thought Stead was to far. Yet all the 'rave reviews' were from folks out of state

Call # 2 - owner yelled at me because I had already purchased my water heater.

Jet Plumbing - GREAT!  They didn't care that I had already made my purchase they did a fine job just installing it.

This is a rental - I've got my own home that will need some plumbing work in the future and guess who will get the job!  Thank you

We called roto rooter to unclog our kitchen sink while we had a renter in the house.  They came out the same night, provided a quote and then the technician called back saying his equipment was broken and he'd come back first thing in the morning.  

We waited the next day, no one called or showed up at our house.  The next technician called to give us a quote that was higher than the original quote.  (I don't blame the technicians, they're just doing their job)

I called the main office to see if they could give us any kind of refund since we had to notify our renter of 3 different times people would be coming to the house.  

I spoke to Jessica on the phone at the main office, she was professional enough but a little dismissive.  She said they wouldn't do anything for us at all for the inconvenience.  Bottom line is the technicians were nice and professional but it seems the main office doesn't really care about their customers or doing the right thing.  I'd search for another company next time that might take more responsibility when they mess up.  Even a small gesture, coupon for next time, etc could have gone a long way.  Something other than being dismissive when they clearly messed up.

Trying to remove my last review but having trouble do I will update. I definitely would recommend this company. They are very responsive. Please disregard my prior post
