Best Garbage Disposal Installation in Reno NV

First of all, my mistake I thought I was calling Allen Plumbing and asked for Lamont.  Wallace answered, said this is Wallace and asked what did I need.  Not super friendly.  I had a weird feeling and should have checked the phone number right then, but I thought maybe this was a family business.  This proved not to be the case.  I had explained the scope of my work and we agreed on a time to meet early on a week day.  

Wallace showed up 1/2 hour early.  I was not ready.  Like most people my mornings are hectic, and I felt this was very unprofessional.  Wallace took a look at my job and threw out a couple of prices for each section of the job.  I was a little shocked at the quote, feeling it might be high for some of the work, and confused as to what the actual cost would be.  I indicated I was going to get a couple of quotes and asked if he would give me a written quote.  He said I should get a couple of quotes, and then said he didn't care if I called him or not.  Really?!  

Through out my dealings with Wallace I felt he was arrogant and condescending. Wallace will not be doing any work in my home.

Trevor was exceptional. No fuss and was on time and completed the work on time. He had to go back to fix something again and he did it promptly on time. I would hire him again for future needs. Thanks Trevor!!!

We got back from vacation and discovered our water heater had gone out. Savage and Son was so nice and helpful. They replaced it same day for a reasonable price.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this company!  So fast and helpful in the case of an emergency.  Zach came right over when my basement was flooding and helped to get the water turned off, the pipe repaired and he even worked with my insurance agent to help get my claim questions answered.  THANKS very  much, I can't wait to refer your business to others!!

I had some electrical work done, a new garbage disposal installed and my Pella glass storm door which was locked in the closed position repaired. Lynch Maintenance Service did an amazing job, on time, professional and courteous. Their prices are wonderful, we will definitely use them again as well recommend them.

John of Bertani can out to our home on a Saturday afternoon to provide us with expert advice on what should be done to correct an isssue with a shower stall that was leaking.  He was very clear as to how the problem would be correct and shared many tips as to how it could be done in an economical way and still maintaining a high level of quality. I found them on Yelp. And I am sooooo great full that I found them. It is labor day weekend. My wife says shower water backing up. Then we get (crap) come out of all our sewer into all the bath tubes.  Yuk

Great job, prompt service!! It was great to have Don, a local, knowledgeable, and experienced plumber on the job. Don was able to quickly diagnose what was wrong, propose a solution, give an accurate timeline, and a fair price. I would highly recommend Helwig Plumbing for those in the Gardnerville area!!

Long review, but I feel you need the backstory.

My tub was slow to drain, and I purchased a Home Warranty a couple years ago, so I put in a claim. The company sent out Roto Rooter. I figured, it's a National company, so they should be able to fix this, right?

Well, after the guys said they snaked the drain about 10 feet, the snake wouldn't go any farther. They said, because the house was old, the line needed to be replaced. Sounded reasonable. The bill after snaking the line was over $260! AND....my tub drained slower than before they got there!

In comes Rooter Bee's AJ. He was super logical even on the phone call, and was able to come out the next day. He was prompt, clean, courteous, and incredibly smart and logical in diagnosing what could be happening.

AJ did a full diagnosis before starting to work, which the other plumbers did not. He went into the crawl space and found MY LINE HAD ALREADY BEEN REPLACED!!!  Roto Rooter's guys never went into the crawl space, and if I had taken their professional opinion, they would've charged me for a replacement that was unnecessary!

After coming out of the crawlspace, AJ snaked the drain, and in 20 minutes, it was cleared. His invoice to me was LESS than Roto Rooter, and my problem was fixed!

As long as he will have me as a client, AJ will be my one and only plumber!

Below is the initial day 1 review. 2 days later STILL waiting for this company to het a tech here to fix water. If I could give negative stars I would. This company is a joke.
Technician is 2 1/2 hours late so far! Not a good start to an already bad day. Was told an hour ago would be here in 15 mins. Called again and still on the way. Seriously? If you can't even be on time chances are the rest will be crap as well. Just as suspected the tech turned up, spent 2 hours in our house-texting photos of the drain parts as he had never seen them before- left our family with NO water for 3 days as has to come back after getting parts. We asked if leak could be capped so water to the rest of the house could be turned on. He said he couldnt. What??? So we have to turn water on at main to do anything while hot water spews out of leak (which will eventually ruin the hot water heater - not that HE mentioned that). Pretty sure this guy has no idea what the hell he is doing. Already put a complaint in with our warranty company that sent this group in the first place. Beware! Use a different company if at all possible.

We just purchased another home and within living there a week we couldn't get hot water. We did purchase a 1year warranty from Fidelity National. They sent out Friendly Plumbing, who came out immediately. I have to say Friendly Plumbing made the experience very easy! They called me before they came out, I had to take my youngest to school and left a note on the door for the technician to please wait. I was very pleased to see a parked van waiting for me as soon as I got back. The technician was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable with parts he needed on hand! Within 15-20 minutes the repair was complete. I can't rate pricing because it was paid through our insurance but as for customer service, coming within a timely matter I give them 5stars!!!

Other non local plumber was adamant I needed to pay for a new disposal - Josh assessed and fixed in less than 20 minutes. Good communication. On time and well mannered. He is Local in north Lake Tahoe.

Roto-Rooter never showed up or even called to cancel our 1pm appointment. I called several times during the day to confirm that they were coming, even being told at one point that they were a mile away. I waited until about 9pm before I gave up hope that they were coming. I wasted the entire last day of our vacation, and our family returned home early from skiing to make that 1pm appointment.

The worst part was that they never even called the next morning to apologize or offer an explanation. They weren't even aware that no one showed up. I had to call them to tell them no one showed and they said that they told my husband that the plumber got stuck in the snow, which was a complete lie because they don't even have my husband's number. I asked to speak to the manager, and he never even called me back.

This is the most unprofessional business that I've ever encountered. I've never dealt with a company that disrespected me, my time, and my business more than this one. Don't waste your time with them.
