Best Drain Installation in Reno NV

I have mixed feelings about this company as I have dealt with them in the past and they have been great. Then I had them fix a kitchen faucet that inevitably needed replacement. Everything was great but the faucet eventually came loose. I called and spoke with Roman to ask if they could just come tighten it down, a nice guy but he told me I would need to submit a claim with my home warranty company as their guarantee is 30 days and we were passed that. I explained that I didn't want to pay $100 to have a faucet tightened...a 5 minute job (with the right tools). And, I said if it was installed correctly it would not have gotten loose. He replied that it could be from Guests somehow abusing it (its an Airbnb). I installed the faucet before this one and in 9 years, it never came loose. This new one came loose in a few months. Clearly, an installation problem.  Nonetheless, I would have to file another claim and pay the $100 deductible for a 5 minute job. If they would've just tightened it, this would be a 5 star review and I wouldn't have to ask my home warranty company for a different provider.

Make sure you get everything in writing! I had a plumbing leak and was under quoted by almost $1,000.00! Then they left a portion unfinished and I received an additional bill for $250 to finish the job that should have been included in the first $4,300.00.

They did finish the job, but terrible communication between the manager and his workers and I would not use them again. I suggest getting quotes from other companies because I felt I was significantly over charged!

We had 4 outlets moved behind our mounted TVs. Not only did Trevor complete this project in the same day, he patched up the holes and textured for us. Couldn't ask for  better service. He will be my first call from now on!

This was my first time connecting with a plumber via Yelp and I could not be more pleased!  Luke arrived a few minutes early, which I really like.  The work was done quickly and the result was a flawless repair.  I really appreciate owner run businesses, they take great pride in their work and go the extra mile.  Ohnstad Pluming is now my go to plumber.  Highly recommend you use him for your plumbing needs and, yes, the 530 area code is correct. :)

great friendly service, flexibility with setting up time to get the work done. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, did great work, does not try to sell unnecessary work, even showed me how to get my irrigation system working that I didn't know how to use since buying my home a year ago.

They were incompetent, basically.     We had issues with outside AC fans that were in horrible shape.   These guys came out and stuck some wood chips around as shims in the side of the fan housing and charged $75.00 for this.    Needless to say, this fix did not work.
Also, they were unable to do a simple maintenance call because they said they were missing the filters they needed (which we already had ourselves) and refused to go into the attic to see why we had no air flow into the upstairs bedrooms.   It turns out we needed a lot of work on the HVAC system to get the airflow right - we hired someone else to do this.  We also hired someone else to fix the outside fans (and you can be sure they did not put shims into the housing!).
We have never experienced such complete incompetence and lack of concern for quality work .   This company hires people who could care less about their customers.
We will NEVER hire Jet Plumbing, Heating and Drain Svc again.   We would much rather pay someone else to do the work who cares about getting the job done right.

I'm in a two story house. Water began dripping onto my breakfast bar and a large bubble developed in the ceiling with drip coming through it. I called 5 Star and got voicemail, leaving me wondering if I should call someone else. However, Barbara called me back in less than 20 minutes and apologized for having been on the phone. She had a technician who would be back in the office within the next few minutes and she would send him out.  Within approximately an hour the technician was at my house and working. It required cutting two holes in my ceiling to find the problem. The pipe leak was in one spot but had run down to where the water broke through. The cuts were done neatly and everything underneath was covered in plastic for protection. The problem was some type of connecting piece where the shower drain hooked into main drain. The technician explained everything, replaced the piece and provided the broken piece to me. He even tried to find someone who could replace the dry wall, but that place was too busy. I do have someone who can do it. I'm very satisfied with the company. I was afraid I would be waiting for days unable to use any water upstairs. The cost was extremely reasonable and everyone courteous and professional. They advertise that all employees are vaccinated against COVID-19, very important to me.

Fernando, helped my client and I with a sewer inspection. Fernando was just great. He was a straight up guy, reasonable in price, and committed to serving the client! He got back to us quickly and stayed in communication throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend his services!

Got 3 quotations for the work I needed done. They weren't the cheapest (although pretty close) and they weren't the most expensive.
I had to have an existing bathtub removed and a new whirlpool tub installed.The tub was enclosed by 3 walls, they removed the old tub and installed the new whirlpool tub with NO problems. Nothing was disturbed, the tub sits about 13 inches from the toilet and they never had to remove the toilet which was a God sent ! The drain for the new tub was different from the old tub and they had to do some alterations to the cement floor to accommodate the drain location for the new tub.
Everything was done it one day, they made hardly any mess and what mess they did make was cleaned up by them and you would never know they were there !
Darrin did the majority of the work but when it was time to install the new tub the owner came out to assist. Trust me it wasn't easy to install the new tub on a wet concrete pad they poured, hold the tub up to line up where the new drain had to be and do the drain hook-ups with the toilet constantly in the way.
These guys did a GREAT job and I would recommend them in a minute based on my experience.

My husband called around 8:30 in the morning, expecting to have to hang out all day.  Roman showed up within a half an hour.  He quoted a price and went right to work unclogging the toilet. He had it done within 20 minutes.  He was friendly, clean and professional with a big smile.

Zack #05 with Preferred Plumbing was absolutely AMAZING!!! He went above and beyond to take care of our plumbing issue!!! If we ever have another problem I would like for him to come back personally!!! Very efficient and knows what he's talking about!!! Great job Zack and thank you so much!!!
