Best Drain Installation in Reno NV

Van Allen was assigned thru home warranty company. Gabe provided a verbal estimate on repair and identified unit was no longer supported by manufacturer. No written estimate provided and no documentation on issues found. Stated he would follow up next day and did not. Called twice for follow up and no return call. Emailed office for follow up, still no response. Verbal estimate was ridiculous for pipe work. Very poor customer experience. Many better choices out there though overall contractor experience in Reno is challenging.

Hands down the best plumber in town.  Honest, hard-working, and knows his stuff.  Highly recommend Warren!

Trevor is great!  Hard worker, very efficient.  I had him remove an old jacuzzi tub.  Friendly, professional, and I will be hiring him again for future projects.

This was my first time connecting with a plumber via Yelp and I could not be more pleased!  Luke arrived a few minutes early, which I really like.  The work was done quickly and the result was a flawless repair.  I really appreciate owner run businesses, they take great pride in their work and go the extra mile.  Ohnstad Pluming is now my go to plumber.  Highly recommend you use him for your plumbing needs and, yes, the 530 area code is correct. :)

Long review, but I feel you need the backstory.

My tub was slow to drain, and I purchased a Home Warranty a couple years ago, so I put in a claim. The company sent out Roto Rooter. I figured, it's a National company, so they should be able to fix this, right?

Well, after the guys said they snaked the drain about 10 feet, the snake wouldn't go any farther. They said, because the house was old, the line needed to be replaced. Sounded reasonable. The bill after snaking the line was over $260! AND....my tub drained slower than before they got there!

In comes Rooter Bee's AJ. He was super logical even on the phone call, and was able to come out the next day. He was prompt, clean, courteous, and incredibly smart and logical in diagnosing what could be happening.

AJ did a full diagnosis before starting to work, which the other plumbers did not. He went into the crawl space and found MY LINE HAD ALREADY BEEN REPLACED!!!  Roto Rooter's guys never went into the crawl space, and if I had taken their professional opinion, they would've charged me for a replacement that was unnecessary!

After coming out of the crawlspace, AJ snaked the drain, and in 20 minutes, it was cleared. His invoice to me was LESS than Roto Rooter, and my problem was fixed!

As long as he will have me as a client, AJ will be my one and only plumber!

WOW! Admittedly was nervous hiring a real plumber instead of a coupon guy or worse yet a Craigs guy.  Not any more. The tech they sent, Nico, was everything i could have hoped for.  Knew his stuff, polite, prompt and efficient. Best thing?  I have hot water!  Thanks Jet for sending Nico my way.

I had a gas leak in my home and NV energy shut off all the gas on a Sunday. I called Savage and Son and spoke with Dave on Monday. He was extremely helpful and scheduled me right away. He was very sympathetic to my situation of having twin baby girls in the house with no gas available. No hot water, laundry, stove etc.His follow up was great as well. It took a few days with a great guy named Mike at my house but all the issues were resolved. I cannot thank you guys enough!

We used this company to fix our Navien tankless water heater.   They were immediately responsive,  and Mr Gibson was willing to drive to Donner Summit to help us out.   Mrs Gibson is very friendly and easy to work with on the phone.   They are competent, reliable and finish the job in a timely manner.   Highly recommend this company!

John of Bertani can out to our home on a Saturday afternoon to provide us with expert advice on what should be done to correct an isssue with a shower stall that was leaking.  He was very clear as to how the problem would be correct and shared many tips as to how it could be done in an economical way and still maintaining a high level of quality. He listened to our issues and provide a well thought out solution. We would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a exceptional plumber

Friendly Plumbing went above and beyond our expectations on the plumbing job we presented them. Carlos was the individual that performed the work. We had a problem in the underground pipe -- we had  used the services of FP before -- cleaning out plugged system a few times.  Later, we had a misunderstanding on when and how to perform underground work on a different problem. We performed a good deal of work digging up the trench . However this was resolved clearly. Carlos performed amazingly difficult work.  Very friendly, easy to work with, and VERY hard worker.  Solved the very difficult problem presented.  We unreservedly recommend FP and Carlos for any plumbing issues -- from simple to extreme.  Terrific company.
