Best Bathtub in Reno NV

American Home Shield dispatched this company to replace my gas water heater.  The tech arrived very quickly and submitted info the required to AHS including the significant cost to bring new heater up to code, a non-covered insurance expense.  I inquired of the tech delivering the water heater what the process was for their work to be inspected post installation by the City of Reno, as a permit is required to install a gas fueled appliance and was told that wasn't needed and it wouldn't be inspected.  I was also trying to understand why they were configuring the plumbing a particular way and was told by the tech it was too complicated to explain and Mike (the owner??) would call me to explain the situation.  When Mike didn't call and the techs were proceeding, I asked to speak to  Mike.  The tech then called him and I could hear Mike on the phone telling the tech it wasn't a convenient time to talk to me so I left the area and went upstairs to my kitchen.  A few moments later the tech appeared and gave me his phone to talk to Mike.  While trying to ask my question, Mike told me that he had gone out of his way to get my installation done quickly and I was being a pain in the ass.  I hung up the phone and tossed the phone back to the tech who went downstairs.  I then realized they were leaving my house and removing their water heater and Mike had directed them to get out.  I apologized to the tech for my frustration and tossing the phone back to him, but also said I though his boss has been rude.  They said they were leaving and in the process of pushing the water heater through the door, managed to leave a nice big gash in my doorframe woodwork.  I believe as a homeowner if I'm being charged $750 to bring a new gas water heater up to code, I have a right to understand their process of doing that and that in the end it passes inspection.

Our bathroom sink was leaking after it had already been fixed previously. Trevor came out and immediately determined that the pipes had been put on incorrectly. He got the correct parts and re-assembled the sink properly, and also got out a major clog left by the previous tenants. In addition, he replaced our hot water shut off because it was not working. His prices were reasonable and the job was done quickly (and on short notice). We are very satisfied with his service will definitely be using him again.

Excellent service! I had one faucet leaking inside, and 2 leaking outside, that I knew about. Mark found a third one leaking, under the house! I am really pleased with his investigation. He wore a mask the whole time, too.

This was my first time connecting with a plumber via Yelp and I could not be more pleased!  Luke arrived a few minutes early, which I really like.  The work was done quickly and the result was a flawless repair.  I really appreciate owner run businesses, they take great pride in their work and go the extra mile.  Ohnstad Pluming is now my go to plumber.  Highly recommend you use him for your plumbing needs and, yes, the 530 area code is correct. :)

5 Star Plumbing hasn't completed my repair and I am already so impressed.  A few of the other companies could not get us till over a week.    It was an emergency water leak from inside the wall.    The water was leaking in the garage, bathroom, bedroom closet.   5 Star Plumbing made calls to move the schedule around to get one of their top guys to swing by home within the hour!

They responded to EVERY call quickly and effectively.  They arrived on time, communicated directly with my tenants and warranty company.   They are coming out tomorrow morning again to complete the repair.  (With this being a home warranty issue, they couldn't get approval to move forward during their first visit)

They updated me thoroughly with possible service needs to repair the leak. (They will not know what will be needed for sure, till they open the wall)   They said they will try their best to not have me needing to call on other service providers to repair the walls, cabinets, and/or carpet.  

They just seem to get it.   I know all will be taken care of perfectly.

I have used this company multiple times as a realtor especially when it comes to emergency issues and I have been pleasantly surprised at how prompt and affordable they are. Very quickly to respond and completely reliable I'm so grateful there are still businesses like this out there you can depend on!

Trying to do a project myself  we bent the front main water line  normally I use American water works owner Sean Cunningham  but he was really tide up so he recommended this company... They came out on time provided an estimate...during the job it was a couple glitches and the job too longer but he stayed until the job was complete and didn't go up on the price. After the job he did a pipe inspection throughout the  house I found out my kitchen drain was linking...next day I called my home warranty I was able to get that fix as well..good job and thank you for staying true to the estimate.

I have been using Friendly Plumbing for years.  Whether it was for a clogged drain, replacing faucets, or fixing a toilet, I have never been disappointed. Their prices have always been fair, and Marge is great at getting a plumber out pretty quickly.  Once I had my issue resolved within 1 hour of making the call!

Smart, reasonable, and fast! Definitely recommend this company! After 3 other plumbers failing on my shower this guy finally got it fixed! Didn't charge an insane amount of money. For sure going to keep as my main plumber from now on!

Josh was a breath of fresh air after dealing with another plumbing co.  Replaced the water heater in my townhome and helped me deal with my home warranty co to offset most of the cost.  He showed up when he said he would and also arranged for an electrician he recommended to do some related work.  If you're in Incline or nearby, Josh is your guy.

When it comes to plumbing needs, do yourself a favor and stay away from Johnson Plumbing.   Their final price came in $1345 higher than their initial quote ($4000).  I tried meeting with Mike, the guy responsible for the job.  He was professional and tried to explain the increase.  When I asked to talk to his boss, Joe stepped up and immediately threatened me with a lien if I didn't pay my bill.  I explained that I was willing to pay the bill but thought $1345 over the initial quote was unreasonable.

After paying the bill in full that day I went to their office to talk to the owner of the company.  I was told that Joe, the one who threatened me with a lien, was the owner, and then I was even more surprised.  

Approximately two weeks later David from Johnson Plumbing called to apologize for the owner's comments.  He also advised that Johnson was willing to reimburse me for 10% of the total cost. Although this made things a little less painful, I still paid $4810 on a job quoted at $4000.

This is the second time I have used Hoffman Plumbing. Just a real pleasure to do business with. Lisa, the office girl, is very friendly. Jessie is very professional and did a quick job. I will use them again if needed and would highly recommend.

I had roto rooter install a sewer cleanout for my cabin in South Lake Tahoe. They did a great job however they charged $1394 in labor. The job took just over 4 hrs to complete. In all fairness they did quote the price before hand. I thought get it would take much longer and involve a lot more work. The labor charge was over $300 an hour! Needless to say I thought that was excessive for the work that was actually performed.

Price gouge alert!
Joe charged me $2200 for a 40 gallon bradford white water heater + installation. To put that into perspective, I called several other local plumbers, and they charged between $1250-1850 for the same water heater + installation.  long story short, I called Joe and caught him in the price gouge, and we negotiated for a lower price of $1850. During that call, Joe even claimed that consumers couldn't purchase water heaters without a plumbers license. He also tried to gaslight me and say Looks like I am going to take a bath on this one. Joe tried to take advantage of me because he sensed I didn't know anything about plumbing. Very dishonest service.
