Best Bathtub in Reno NV

My sewer was backed up. Called them at 4:30 pm on a Saturday. The guys arrived about 10 mins later. They snaked the line for a while and couldn't get it unclogged. They came back on Sunday morning at 8:30 am and tried to snake the line again. They determined the problem was a collapsed sewer line. This part blew my mind. They felt the ground for vibration, pulled the snake and stretched it out, and began to dig. They found the line and the problem  almost immediately. The hole was four feet deep and five foot long. The guys fixed the damaged section and were on their way. The price was fair as far as I was concerned and well below what they estimated. I will us these guys again in the future.

We used this company to fix our Navien tankless water heater.   They were immediately responsive,  and Mr Gibson was willing to drive to Donner Summit to help us out.   Mrs Gibson is very friendly and easy to work with on the phone.   They are competent, reliable and finish the job in a timely manner.   Highly recommend this company!

John of Bertani can out to our home on a Saturday afternoon to provide us with expert advice on what should be done to correct an isssue with a shower stall that was leaking.  He was very clear as to how the problem would be correct and shared many tips as to how it could be done in an economical way and still maintaining a high level of quality. Very responsive, had trouble even getting other plumbing companies on the phone, but 5 Star had someone here within two hours during a week day. They were able to clear my very clogged kitchen sink drain line and the cost was very reasonable. David did a great job and even gave me tips to prevent it from occurring in the future. Definitely recommend calling 5 Star first.

After years of waiting for our water heater to give out, it finally did. Went to shower and the water was warm. I checked out Yelp Reviews and called a couple of places for quotes and availability. This company was the 2nd call. Don answered immediately. He gave me a quote to replace the water heater, labor and all parts. He volunteered to come over after he was done for the day to check it out and make sure there wasn't something more I needed. He called to tell me he was running a little late and check to make sure if it was still okay to come by. He was very sociable and knowledgeable. His price was better then the other quote for the same size and model water heater. We agreed to get it done. He came over first thing in the morning. He went above and beyond. He was clean and cleaned up after himself. He got it done in less than 3 hours. We will definitely use him again if we need someone.

Long review, but I feel you need the backstory.

My tub was slow to drain, and I purchased a Home Warranty a couple years ago, so I put in a claim. The company sent out Roto Rooter. I figured, it's a National company, so they should be able to fix this, right?

Well, after the guys said they snaked the drain about 10 feet, the snake wouldn't go any farther. They said, because the house was old, the line needed to be replaced. Sounded reasonable. The bill after snaking the line was over $260! AND....my tub drained slower than before they got there!

In comes Rooter Bee's AJ. He was super logical even on the phone call, and was able to come out the next day. He was prompt, clean, courteous, and incredibly smart and logical in diagnosing what could be happening.

AJ did a full diagnosis before starting to work, which the other plumbers did not. He went into the crawl space and found MY LINE HAD ALREADY BEEN REPLACED!!!  Roto Rooter's guys never went into the crawl space, and if I had taken their professional opinion, they would've charged me for a replacement that was unnecessary!

After coming out of the crawlspace, AJ snaked the drain, and in 20 minutes, it was cleared. His invoice to me was LESS than Roto Rooter, and my problem was fixed!

As long as he will have me as a client, AJ will be my one and only plumber!

Tony responded to our emergency kitchen sink flooding due to a clogged shared drainage line. He was extremely helpful and professional. Would highly recommend for Tony's quality and expeditious emergency service!

Satisfied with the work, but not with the communication, front desk attitude, and lack of transparency. Workers were there 1 hour according to tenant but was billed for 2.5 hrs.@ 92$/hour. Also specifically requested call when technician was there to discuss repairs and costs but never received a call.  Attempted to call the tech twice during the time frame they were supposed to be there and never got a call back..when i called the front desk the lady gave me serious attitude...asked front desk to have owner call me not response, emailed and go not response..will not use them ever again..caveat emptor

Fixed leak at furnace vent took care of problem in timely matter

After an extended absence, I arrived at my Incline Village vacation home to discover a very pungent odor throughout the home.  It stunk!  After the gas company came out and confirmed that it was not a natural gas leak, I called JM Plumbing Services.  Josh quickly worked me into his schedule and he and Matt came out to inspect.  After checking that it wasn't sewer gas escaping from the plumbing, Josh informed me that it was probably a dead animal in the wall.  My first thought was that I was going to have to live with this smell until it naturally went away.  But this is what makes JM Plumbing Services so special!  They didn't leave me stuck in a stinking house.  Josh and Matt investigated where the smell was coming from and determined it was near the washing machine and dryer.  Next, they went outside and noticed that the flap on the end of dryer vent was open.  With that they used an endoscope to look inside and discovered a bird's nest.  Working in very tight spaces and with a strong stench, they were able to run a vent cleaning tool through the vent and push the nest and 3 dead birds out.  Wow, was I happy.  No more stink.  I have used JM Plumbing Services multiple times and have found them to be the very best plumbing company I have ever dealt with.  They are thorough, professional and mostly show a care for their customers that is rare today.  Thanks Josh and Matt!

Quick response and quick service!  I had an emergency faucet pipe needing replaced, they came to the house, fixed it, and the price was decent!  Professional, courteous, and quick!  Thanks for the help!

Joe has come through for us at the restaurant a couple of times, he knows emergencies happen and he is always fast to come by and fix our issues.  He definitely saved the day today for us, we hope everything stays good for a while but if we ever need someone with great customer service and great work done we will definitely call Hoffman plumbing again!

We called on a Sunday with kitchen and bathroom drain not draining.  We also needed a faucet tightened and stopper in bathroom sink fixed.  Within an hour JJ showed up, took care of everything (no extra charge for Sunday and/or same day work! JJ was awesome.  I will definitely use them again

He gave me a bill that was $200 MORE than what he quoted!! WAS RUDE AND LIED!!! Someone must have paid for the other reviews because they aren't even close to the service I received!
