Best Water Heater Repair in Raleigh NC

Theresa at Bass Plumbing did an awesome job with customer service! She was very polite and understanding of our plumbing problem and the frustration associated with it! She did all she could do to schedule the best service appointment she could for us.  So nice to deal with someone that considers the client!

When our basement turned into a surprise indoor swimming pool one evening, our home warranty company dropped the ball and failed to get a plumber out to repair it after many repeated efforts on our part, leaving us without running water for several hot July days. My husband and I decided it was worth sourcing a plumber on our own, and many reading of reviews and makings of phone calls later we decided on William Parrish Plumbing and are very glad we did! Not only were our inquiries answered promptly and subsequent calls returned fast (unlike the two shoddy companies American Home Shield wanted us to waste time on), but our water woes were relieved by Scott that very day - and even earlier than initially scheduled!

His work was unhesitating and professional (my husband enjoyed getting to watch and learn about the plumbing features of our 1950s house as Scott worked), which is no doubt helped by WPP plumbers arriving in fully stocked vans so they can get to work as quickly as possible in most situations. Pricing was very fair for the type of repair needed, and communication from everyone from Scott to the lady at the front desk was helpful and efficient. I would prefer not to come home to any kind of pipe issues ever again, but if it happens at least there's a local plumber around to trust!

Our heat randomly stopped working at one of our rental properties so we reached out to Piedmont Metro for help! They had someone out the same day to not only diagnose but also fix the issue super quick! Very affordable & reliable! We'll definitely be using them again in the future!

They came out to my house and gave honest feedback and charged me reasonable price. i will use them again.

My first floor toilet started leaking. I received a quick response from Xprt to my need for services, had an appointment within a couple hours. My toilet was checked and an assessment of the issues was provided along with recommended services. The toilet was repaired and reinstalled with a new seal. The cost was reasonable and as quoted. I will definitely use them again.

I needed a faucet replaced and a leak repaired under my kitchen sink. Ron was on time, efficient, and had the project handled without issue. I would absolutely recommend Ron and will be using him in the future.

Face it, nobody wakes up and goes I think I'll hire a plumber today. No, water showing up where it's not supposed to, especially inside your house, is never a good thing. It's happened twice in the same week with me. One required a roofer. Another a plumber. I went to Yelp for recommendations on both. Of the 4 plumbers that responded, I picked ARC for a number of reasons. First, they responded quickly. Second, they were available. Third, they were somewhat in the ballpark of the quotes I got, not the highest, not the lowest. They also did not tack on a trip charge which one quote did, and they charged by the job, not by the hour, which I prefer. Fourth, they showed up within a 2 hour window, actually earlier so bonus points. Finally the pleasant and informative Matt was just great. Gave me a rundown, told me options, left me with estimate and his personal cell if I had questions after. Haven't scheduled the job yet but plan to and will update review after that.

Knowledgable and friendly service tech, however, the quote for the installation of a 50 gallon water heater was much too high. We had Dominion do the job for 1/3 of the quote.

These guys are the real deal. Growing up I remember hearing stories of shady plumbers that charged the moon and the sun. Not these guys. They do QUALITY work at a fantastic cost. Man I cant say enough good things about Jayk and his crew. Its a good feeling to know a plumber you trust

I had a leaking water heater and contacted 3 companies for quotes/estimates on a replacement. One company told me that I should make sure I know what getting with any quotes less than theirs since it wouldn't likely be up to code.

Not only did Joseph provide the best quote, he provided a detailed estimate within hours, thoroughly explained what I would get (which included more than the company I spoke with), showed up on time, explained everything again, worked fast, cleaned up like no one was ever there, and then showed me all of the work including the items that were implemented to meet code. His partner Adam was professional and knew his stuff as well.

Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the work done by Golden Rule Plumbing. Deal with Joseph with complete confidence.

The Raleigh Heating & Air team reached out to me for additional details of the experience, and we worked out a solution that made everyone happy.  In the end, I'm satisfied--and I would stress again that all of their technicians have been good to work with.  I wish it didn't take a little bit of a runaround to get to a good place, but I'm happy to say that we've reached an agreement.

Ordered complete install of new furnace and air conditioner ($8k job).  About two weeks after installation, the thermostat failed due to faulty installation.  (It was obvious to me that it was a thermostat issue because I jiggled the device and it briefly came back on before losing power permanently.)

We ordered a service call on a 90-degree Saturday (I have a three-year-old, a two-year-old, and a six-month old), after which the HVAC technical--though exceptionally personable and pleasant, was unable to diagnose the issue (in spite of my description of the issue and suggestion that it was a thermostat issue).  He was convinced that the issue was electrical and claimed there was no voltage to the heat pump.  (After he left, I noticed that he had not flipped the breaker back on after disconnecting it for safety reasons...not surprising that he did not have power).

We had an electrician out to confirm the circuitry was fine and there was power to the unit.  After he did so, we had Raleigh Heating & Air out the next day.  I should say Groundhog's Day, because we went through the same thing, and yet again we had the electrician out.

Long story short, it took three trips from the electrician, three visits from Raleigh Heating & Air, $400 of electrician bills, and a $150 weekend service charge fee (despite parts and labor being under warranty from Raleigh Heating & Air) for them to finally realize that, lo and behold, it was a thermostat issue--that is, the device was not correctly installed originally.

Then they had the gall not only to refuse to pay the electrician's bill but even to reverse the charge on the $150 service call.  I want to be clear--the technicians, although they did not diagnose the issue, were very nice and tried to be helpful.  The office staff, however, were completely unhelpful and seemed not to care that they had lost a homeowner as a customer.  Would vehemently recommend using anyone BUT Raleigh Heating & Air.

Eddie was great! He responded to my estimate request early (3:20 AM) with much as up front pricing you can do based on what I could give. A polite and personal email response. This was also the only estimate with any pricing we received when I woke up on this morning. I had already researched and knew getting the hot water heater I needed would be difficult due to where it is installed and the space available here. I also knew about what this would cost wholesale. Asked to proceed and he was here exactly when he said he would arrive. Everything is pretty good so far.

Now this is where it goes above what I expected - After seeing the layout there was only this particular water heater as an option. Eddie was up front about the cost of the unit (I had researched) and this reflected his original estimate. I didn't have a home warranty and do not have much experience working with any finance company. I tried to apply on his site but it was not working. Eddie personally called the finance company to assist and it turned out my personal credit lock was preventing the application from going through. I fixed this and he then walked me through the financing directly with his business account rep all the while lining up the rest of the job.

The water heater had burst but not in a location to cause damage. I did have cold water as I found the valve to shut off water to the tank. I told Eddie and his office it wasn't an emergency but would like it fixed as soon as possible. However, Eddie treated it as such. In less than 4 hours from responding to Eddie's initial quote I had hot water.

Professional, punctual, courteous, and was able to finish a difficult fix quickly.

Worst company I have ever seen in my life. I purchased a $1600 water heater and I did not get hot water in some parts of the house. I asked them to come check, they never showed up. I called about 10 times to Brad and the lady from Customer service. Nothing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I cannot recommend these people to anyone. My whole experience with them just makes me feel like they are not trustworthy. I initially called them out to quote me a price on a new hot water heater because my hot water had some mineral deposits in it. The guy looked around and said he would send me a quote soon. The next day the hot water heater started leaking. Water was coming from my attic into the closet below and I was in trouble. This should have been my first warning to go with somebody else, as it is obvious to me that his poking around contributed to starting the leak. However, I called them and they sent someone out and did a same day quote and got to work right away. The job ran into some problems. They broke a pipe, cut a hole in a wall to repair it, and then covered it up with a plastic panel that looks pretty shoddy. They didn't finish the job and had to come back twice to get everything set up correctly. Even after all of that, they didn't replace the leaking pan that was under the hot water heater. That just seems like it should have been part of the work and feels neglectful. However, the most frustrating part is that they didn't provide me what was initially quoted and agreed upon to my satisfaction. We asked for the ability to adjust our hot water from our closet so we didn't have to go up to the attic to do so. They said they could do that, but then didn't. They also said we could adjust the water temperature over 120, but it doesn't go any higher. It's just not the product we were lead to believe we were getting, and that is very disappointing. Our water is lukewarm at best and our water pressure has taken a nosedive with this new heater.

Bolton charged me over 400.00 to fix my ac. The fix lasted less than 24 hours. When I called to ask for someone to come back, I was told no one could come. They have lousy customer service. I asked to speak to a manager. He never called this happened on July 7. Today I received a letter that stated I was ignoring their calls as far as paying the bill. I told the person at Bolton back in July that I needed to talk to the manager before I paid the bill. I called today. There was no adjustment on the bill so basically I am out 400.00 for a fix that didn't work. I do not recommend them to anyone!

They got here and gave me a quote that's unreasonably high. Although I have communicated my issue clearly beforehand and they should be able to give me a quote without having to be here. In the end I had to pay for the dispatch fee while fixing the issue myself. Genuinely bad experience, feels like a trap.

DO.NOT.USE.  After waiting for them all afternoon on a weekend, for an emergency appointment that had been scheduled in the morning, they finally called and said they weren't coming. DO NOT USE!!!
