Established in 2016.
Golden Rule Plumbing Services was founded on the principal of the Golden Rule, to do to others as you would have them do to you. The owners, a husband and wife team, firmly believe in honest communication and fair pricing. After being in the construction industry for years, Joseph, our licensed plumber, has seen the dishonesty that can happen in companies who use up-sale tactics and intimidation in order to deceive customers into paying for more than is necessary. We want you to know that this goes against every fiber of Golden Rule Plumbing. We want you to know that there IS an honest company out there. We want you to know that if you need our services, we will be there!
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Joseph the owner of the company has been in the plumbing field for years, and in construction for even longer. From childhood, Joseph has always enjoyed tinkering with the mechanics of how things work and the challenges that it brings. I pride myself on doing a good job, a job that is done efficiently and reliably. It truly makes me happy to do good work for others. I love to meet new people along the way. When I began studying the trade at a tech school, it was a dream of mine to start a service repair business, and by the Grace of God, I did.

We had a pipe bust in one of our walls at home and found out that we needed to have our whole house repiped. The guys with Golden Rule Plumbing work was top notch. Joseph and his crew were some of the nicest guys we have ever met .They explained everything that was done did to get our water running again and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again if I needed. And I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

This is as professional as it gets folks.
I had a leaking water heater and contacted 3 companies for quotes/estimates on a replacement. One company told me that I should make sure I know what getting with any quotes less than theirs since it wouldn't likely be up to code.
Not only did Joseph provide the best quote, he provided a detailed estimate within hours, thoroughly explained what I would get (which included more than the company I spoke with), showed up on time, explained everything again, worked fast, cleaned up like no one was ever there, and then showed me all of the work including the items that were implemented to meet code. His partner Adam was professional and knew his stuff as well.
Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the work done by Golden Rule Plumbing. Deal with Joseph with complete confidence.

Joseph from Golden Rule Plumbing came by to fix a valve and my toilet needed to be replaced. Joseph and his employees are very professional. They take detail to do all their work properly so it lasts. I gave them five stars because they deserve it good people good work good price! I would highly suggest anybody looking for someone to help them with a plumbing issue to call these guys you can trust that they will do an excellent job!! If there was a 1 to 10 scale I would give them 10. If you want somebody to do it right the first time so you don't have problems in the future talk to Joseph at Golden Rule Plumbing out of Knightdale North Carolina.
Very Professional!
Called Golden Rule Plumbing Services to come out and put in a new kitchen faucet and to look at a tank filling problem I had with one of my toilets. Joseph the owner came personally and was prompt and answered all of my questions with straightforward honesty. The pricing was very reasonable especially compared to some of the big box companies. The job was done and all water was flowing in no time at all. Also everything was left neat and clean just as it was when he showed up. Thanks again for coming out promptly and I will definitely be using Golden Rule again in the future!

It's these folks - Don't hessitate to call them.
I had three different problems and each of the three times:
* they were there when they said that they would be
* they explained (and showed me) the problem
* took care of it in an efficient manner
* left no mess
* did it all at a fair price - no gouging
One of the leaks was overhead and damaged some drywall - they put me in touch with a drywall person too.
The third service call was actually made by my realtor as I was selling the house and had moved out of town. When she told me that she called Golden Rule Plumbing, I smiled and breathed a sigh of relief because I knew it was in good hands and I wouldn't be taken advantage of.
When I called them to get an address to send a check, it was the owner (Joseph) who answered; he remembered me and each of the times he had been out there.
My only wish in dealing with them is that they would come up to Michigan to fix a thing or two on my new house! ;-)
Professional, honest, and affordable, what more can tou ask for? Oh and fast, same day service in our case. Our new go to for plumbing services.
Last fall Joe came and did stellar work on a root intrusion into my main water line. He quoted the issue off of photos and descriptions, which was helpful. Then he came and did prompt repairs with excellent communication all along the way. The total fell within the quote and he walked me through the repair in detail. Can't ask for anything more from Golden Rule Plumbing. Definitely recommend.
I first spoke to Joseph regarding possibly replacing my water heater and he was very professional, responsive and answered all of my questions. He quoted me a reasonable estimate to compete the work for me.
Sean and his partner came and installed my new water heater. Although it took longer than expected to do the repair because they had to go get extra supplies, the young men were very professional and walked me through the process. They apologized for the delay. They provided a detailed receipt and warranty card for my water heater prior to leaving.
I def recommend them for anyone needing their services!

I truly can't describe the professionalism, courtesy and incredible customer service of this company. We had a major plumbing issue at our house on a Saturday (three sinks and two toilets all leaking at the same time and water raining through the ceiling of our kitchen), and I called every plumber listed, left a message concerning the emergency, and they are the only one who not only called back, but the owner actually came to our house after he finished a job he was on at 5pm on a Saturday! He was more than willing to help us, and I honestly felt like he treated our family the way he would want to be treated - the Golden Rule. After telling him I wasn't sure we would be able to hire him without prior authorization from our Home Warranty company, he told me he could take a look at everything for me anyway because he likes to help people. If more companies lived out this philosophy, the world would be a less stressful, more kind place. Golden Rule is the Chick-fil-A of plumbing providers in the Triangle. We recommend them to anyone and everyone.
