Jason came out this morning to fix my garbage disposal and unplug my bathroom sink
Very professional, knowledgeable and nice in a natural down to earth way. Not in a fake, I'm at your service, but I don't give a damn way, which I appreciated.
I also appreciated the pleasant woman who answered the phone when I initially called who also let me know when Jason was 30 minutes out.
Another employee called about an hour later to make sure I was happy which was new to me that I thought was a nice touch

This was the second time i used Cornel's Plumbing.  My new washer couldn't be hooked up to the water supply because my house has horrible PVC plumbing.  The PVC pipe had become brittle and fused to the hot water valve.  It was late in the afternoon when I called Cornel's, and they sent a plumber out the morning of the very next work day.  Yay!!!  Although he warned me the pipe could very likely break when he tried to remove it, it didn't, thank goodness.  I was only charged his $150 trip fee.  Double yay!!!  Cornel's Plumbing will continue to be my preferred company in the future.  I highly recommend them.

I had a leaky pipe, put an ad on craigslist, and rec'd several replies. After meeting with several licensed plumbers, I decided to hire Eric from Rocky Mountain. He's personable, knows his stuff, and we talked through my plumbing problems to come up with a solution. His bid was reasonable, and he did not try to upsell me.
After approving his bid, we set up a day for him to come do the work. Due to snow, he called saying that he'd be a little late. While on site, he communicated about what he was doing, confined his mess, and cleaned up after himself.
The plumbing looks great, is a vast improvement over the old leaky garbage, and I'm sure he did extra work that he didn't charge me for.
I highly recommend Eric and Rocky Mountain Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work done.

I've hired Sewer Rats 3 times - for work at 2 of my  North-East Portland homes.  Once they provided the most painless and inexpensive way to replace a busted Water Heater - that was flooding a basement .  They bought one at their Company rate for me - and brought it right over to install - and returned with a dolly and truck later to haul off my old one, which I really appreciated.

I've also used Sewer Rat Patrick a few times for Residential Sink Clean-outs, the first time, after unsuccessfully trying to un-clog the drain myself for hours.  It was a stoopid mistake to even try.

Just call Patrick right away - just plan a few bucks in your annual maintenance budget, and save your self the frustration and mess.

He suggested once how I might save some money by doing a few procedures myself - but frankly I'd rather hire him than run HOT water for an hour and fight with the dang mucky Snake.

Patrick's work also has received positive comments from others, after I referred him to friends for various drain emergencies.  You'll get a written receipt, and patient, polite treatment - with a charming Jersey Boy accent  -  for the fast work. Thanx, Pat!

Charlie Papp (who did most of the marketing and created the Branding for the Company)  died 2 years ago in June - but Patrick Biscoff is still doing fast and reliable work at a great rate.

Chris came highly recommended by the plumber who worked on my bathroom. He was very quick to respond to my inquiries and got the job done at a great price. Left the bathroom looking cleaner than before. I'm very happy with his service. Just a great guy overall with great attitude.

Hot water went out on a Friday morning and they were able to come out Friday afternoon to diagnose the problem. Turns out the water heater needed to be replaced and they couldn't fix it until the following day (Saturday) which I'm totally fine with. They were quick about it and responsive.
What I'm not fine with is that they left all the doors open along with the light on under the house on Friday. I didn't notice until Friday night so door was open and light was on all day. Luckily no critters got under there from what I can tell. Then Saturday they replaced the water heater. Everything works except they left the door open AGAIN. Very unprofessional imo. They also didn't turn the water back on to the hose and couldn't tell us over the phone how to get it back on. Now they can't come out again for another week and a half to turn the water on. Unprofessional company and would not recommend.

They came out for a sewer scope and did a great job. The tech was finished after about 30 minutes! After he finished, I asked him to peek at my crawl space (because the entrance was blocked during my home inspection). He gladly said okay and was willing to help. I just wanted to know if there was any water down there. He didn't charge me for going down into the crawl space.

Kevin did a great job! He responded within minutes of my request for a quote--he even suggested i call 3 other plumbers for quotes, which I did and he was right: his price was the same or less then all three I called. He was able to come out, confirm the quote and have a new hot water heater installed THAT DAY. I'm sure not all days are that open and we got lucky, but he was great and we are thankful! He answered all our questions thoroughly and brought our new hotwater heater up to code--where the old one wasn't as well as changed out the stand in sits on for a new metal one. I would definitely use him again!

Had Forbes come out to fix a faucet.  While fixing it, their technician noted that a mounting bracket was broken (he didn't break it), but said it would hold.  It did not though, so I had to get a new one from Delta, but they came back out and finished it at no fee, so that was great!  5 Stars.

Reputable, reliable, reasonable. They have done a number of jobs for me and I am always happy. My plumber of choice.

Mike is incredibly professional and on time. He's a perfectionist at his job so you're going to get quality work, no cutting corners. He is quick and flexible, but very busy. He made numerous visits to get the job done. Bathroom remodel and putting in washer dryer hookups. I 100% would recommend!

had a question and asked for call back and did not get one.. so not too great on the customer service. feel i was overcharged and secretary argued about it.. so mixed feelings at this point

Chris is a very reliable person. His work and his service is top of the line. I had an experience with him fixing leaks at my house. His quote is very reasonable and his schedule is very punctual.
I would like to recommend him to anybody needs a plumber.

Where to start? I would like to say Thank you so much for the staff at MP Plumbing for the level of customer service that we received last night as well as today (on a Sunday) to help fix a large plumbing issue. Everything from the wonderful person that answered the phone last night after 9pm to Seth who called last night to make sure we were ok to wait until the morning. We had been able to stop the water leak last night so that the staff at MP Plumbing could arrive in the morning to figure out what was going on. We received a call first thing in the morning from Race. He called to let us know that he was on his way. After arriving he exemplified amazing customer service. He made us feel like we were his most important customers. After a brief inspection of the situation he quickly determined where the problem was and in a matter of no time Race had fixed the problem that we had had and he was on his way. This was the first time that I have ever had an emergency like this. I can say without question the MP Plumbing will be our plumbing contractor moving forward. In todays day and age it is hard to find companies like MP Plumbing. Thank you to everyone that helped us during this process. We look forward to being able to recommend you in the future. Called him out for trailer brake issues.  My opinion is that he was not well prepared or equipped for this issue.
I will say that he was very responsive to my request for help, so for other issues he might be fine.  He was amiable and tolerant of my frustration.  Because I rarely have others fix things on my farm,  I can be a difficult customer. He did help steer me in the right direction, and because of my obvious dissatisfaction only charged me for the service call. I hate wiring issues but decided to fix it myself or take it to a fully equipped and supplied shop..

Tim Moffatt was fantastic. I have some wooden floor boards that are starting to warp. I've already had a handyman come out a few times and they couldn't find anything. Tim initially quoted me several hundred dollars for 2 hours work. He called me and came early because he had time. He promptly checked every possible source with infrared and some other equipment. Found no active leak and did it quickly so didn't charge me.

If you have any questions about possible leaks around the house, I would definitely call Tim.

For anyone living with old plumbing pipes, young children who might put who-knows-what into your toilets, or an otherwise questionable plumbing situation, Khoi (Coy) is your guy. Today was our first time using Lotus, and the service was excellent. We called with a plumbing situation that was hard to describe, and Khoi made time, day-of, to come and take a look. The problem turned out to be a fixable one, so Khoi went to work on it right away. After all was resolved, we asked him about a secondary issue, to get an opinion. He spent a total of just under an hour with us, and yet charged us only for the time spent actually working on our primary problem. So nice! Instead of charging by the hour, he gave us a fee for the fraction of the hour it took to get the job done. Khoi CLEARLY loves his work. In addition to being extremely easy going and friendly, he was professional, punctual, and thorough.

I can highly recommend Jared from Pipe Systems.  My bathroom sink has been clogged, and I'd gone through all the usual attempts to clear it: Drano, Liquid Plumber, sticking a coat hanger down the drain, all to no avail.  Finally gave in, looked on line and saw good reviews for Pipe Systems, left a message and got a call back within the hour.  Jared happened to have an opening in his schedule right then, so came right over, and in less than 1 hour had cleared the clog from my almost 100 year old pipes.  He was super conscientious, took off his shoes to walk through the house, and carefully cleaned up after himself when the job was done.  I'll call this company immediately if I need more plumbing work done, unlike the terrible company I used before this.

Do NOT consider Wolcott. They are OVER priced. They do not stand behind their work and the technician that came to do work at my home was INCOMPETENT.
