Best Drain Cleaning in Pittsburgh PA
I used Yelp to find a plumber in my area for a leaky upstairs toilet that was leaking into my downstairs bathroom. I was referred to Brett's and gave him a call. He was prompt very courteous, explained the problem and resolved it within a reasonable time. His pricing was reasonable (a lot less than I anticipated) and he was pleasure to work him. Will definitely use him again and I highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs!!

I had a weird water problem happening in my laundry room/basement. Water was pouring out of the hole where my waterline goes. I had no idea what was happening. Ron Miller was recommended to me through HomeServe. He came out to see what the problem was, and immediately knew that it was my sewage pipe. Once everything was authorized by home serve which was for the very next day he put in as a emergent repair. He showed up at 8:30 AM, even took my plants out for me so that I could hopefully save them because they were where he had to dig. He let me know what was happening every step of the way. He is very knowledgeable in what he does, he is very kind. When he was finished with the repair, every thing was put back the way it was. You almost didn't even know that he was there! If I ever need a plumber, I will call him in a heartbeat.

Bob lead an amazing renovation of our home in Coraopolis and we couldn't be happier with the quality of his work, and also his commitment to making sure we were happy and comfortable in our new home. I am so thankful that he was there to lead this project and we are beyond excited to start our new life in this home. D

I was not at the home during the service -- but this makes my review even more important to me. I learned about it all from my Aunt who was super impressed with Todd from First Call Plumbing. The sewer backed up to the point where we could not use our appliances and were apprehensive to flush the toilet. My Aunt's regular plumber was on vacation so we had to find someone new. My Aunt was very skeptical about using someone new, but the smell was unbearable and she had no choice. Calling Todd same day, he was helpful, polite and ensured he fit us in, and on a Saturday, too. In addition to solving the problem, he assisted in clean up. He also did a review of other areas of the home. Pricing was generous -- they only charge OT on a Sunday! Thanks for a great experience, Todd!

They just replaced our water heater today. Good communication, stuck to their price, and were incredibly professional. They also unclogged a drain and replaced a valve, all within an hour.

These guys were fantastic. Very friendly, professional. We had a plumbing emergency, they responded very quickly to the call. Came out the next day and fixed the issue. The price was great, and the job was done really well.

Have been calling Matt Brown for years. This time around I tried to be a DIY'r and I totally destroyed my bathroom plumbing. Matt Brown came on a days notice and fixed in an hour what took me weeks to botch. Very clean, professional, & polite. Will defiantly call again.

I was definitely disappointed with this company. My general contractor brought them to my house to replace two shut off values at my meter and install a pressure regulator. My contractor got a quote from them for $350. I thought the price was a little high but agreed to have them do the job.
My contractor called me after the work was finished to let me know the pressure regulator wasn't needed so it wasn't installed but the bill came in at $451.00
The bill went up 30% from the original quote and they didn't install the regulator.
I was charged $319 for labor and $132.00 for parts.
So it was $451 for two shutoff values!
Looking at my security cameras they were here 2 hours.
I will never recommend this company to anyone.
Extremely disappointed!

I have had Sam and Michael out a couple of times. They are always very helpful...they have repaired problems other plumbers said couldn't be fixed without big bucks...and are very nice. I trust their work and their prices are quite reasonable. I'll call them again.

I called Bill Brown because the main toilet in my home was leaking into my kitchen. My initial appointment was for a Wednesday around lunchtime. I called him at 3:00 to confirm he was still planning to come that day. I understand that plumbers get busy and jobs can become larger than they initially thought, however; I was provided no communication to confirm that the appointment was going to take place as scheduled - I had taken the day off of work for this appointment. He said he was coming once he finished the job and would call and let me know when he was on his way. He finally came at 5:30 (with no call), spent 15 minutes in my house, and couldn't fix the issue, so we scheduled an appointment for the next Friday, between 8-9 am. I called him at 10:00 only to be advised that his truck had broken the day before and he wasn't sure if he could come out that day. Again, I had taken a day off of work, and we are now 2 weeks without a working bathroom upstairs. I was able to contact Roto-Rooter Friday morning and they sent someone that afternoon and he was able to fix the problem within 40 minutes.
TL; DR - don't hire him. Hire Roto-Rooter instead. Same day appointment and fix.

Utter rip-off artists IMHO
$575 for a 45 min gas leak repair
Plus 1 of the guys took a crap in our ladies room on the clock
Then...challenged Sean (scheduler) about a $350-$450 estimate for a backflow preventer test
Said that is average
Really
Had Lakewood mechanical do it for $105...took 15 min
WTF...are you kidding!!
Never again...and you shouldn't either

Same issue here - connected through American Home Shield home warranty company for a broken faucet. They ordered incorrect part. Apparently 'correct' part came in and said they called me and left a voicemail to schedule the appointment. I missed the voicemail and THEY DID NOT REACH OUT TO TELL ME THEY WERE CANCELING!!! They cancelled the claim and returned the part without telling me. Told me to call home warranty company. Home warranty company put in a recall. They rejected the recall and will not proceed to fix it unless I pay another $100 fee and open a new claim, although the home warranty company is saying they will pay for the part through a recall and a new claim is not needed. They say claim has to be closed within 30 days - they ordered incorrect part in the first place that prolonged this and never contacted me before 'returning the part'. I've had other companies through home warranty take longer than 30 days with no issue.
Do not use and ask to be connected to a different plumber if connected through home warranty.

We've used Bigley Plumbing for over twenty years for both big (HUUUGE) and small projects. They are Registered Master Plumbers, so you get what you pay for (and worth it). Today they came and fixed a leaky toilet after I called yesterday. They had it all done in about an hour . . . Cheers!

I never write reviews but had to find the way to do it. I would not recommend this company. They well overcharged for a furnace blower and the time spent and they REFUSED to have an itemized list of where the money went. so the fee for coming out i have no idea if it was waived. Then they had to come back out 12 HOURS LATER because the vent was clogged and they should have checked in the first place. I don't mind being charged for the work but for $130 for a 10 minute task I can only assume is the cost for at least the hour to drive out as well which would not have been there if they finished the work in the first place.

Stay away. Overpriced. Very unprofessional. We should have stayed clear from the beginning. Do yourself a favor and get a second estimate and save yourself a lot of aggravation!

Old HVAC unit stopped blowing cold air; I noticed this on a particularly hot day in late May. I reached out to Hruska on May 29, and received a callback right away. A day or so later, they sent someone to assess the problem. Recommended replacement, which didn't really surprise me as the unit was 23 years old. They quoted me a price for replacement and I let them know I'd talked to my warranty company, which I did and then called back to schedule the installation of the new unit. When I didn't hear back, I called again a couple days later and left a message at the main office. Finally received a call back a few days later. Scheduled the install on Thursday, June 13, so I arranged to work from home. He called me in the morning because it was raining to say they couldn't install in the rain and would have to play it by ear and he'd be in touch. The rain stopped around 10:30. Didn't hear from him the rest of the day. Or the next, or the day after that.
I call a couple more times and leave messages, literally saying I hope I don't get forgotten. I also tell them I'm off the upcoming Friday and Monday so that would be great for me. Finally get a call back a week after the original install was scheduled. I was in a meeting but stepped out to take the call and he asked if Saturday would work. Great, I say, before remembering that Saturday was the one day I was NOT going to be at home as I had plans with a friend from out of town. I call back to let him know that Friday or Monday WOULD work, and his response is, we typically do installs on Saturdays. Really? When you originally scheduled my install on a Thursday? Anyway... he tells me he'll call me Monday morning and we'll see what we can do.
Never heard from him again. I gave up and went with someone else.
Unacceptable. I get that people are busy, and it's a busy season and the rain is making things difficult. But you don't just blow people off. Never even offered an apology.
