Best Air Duct Cleaning in Pittsburgh PA
Very happy with Express Plumbing. Its such a relief to find a professional that I can actually trust. (especially when he was dealing with me and not my husband) I was ripped off by a big name plumber who didn't even finish the job. I called Express Plumbing and the same day Steve came out and fixed the mess the other guys left. He was quick and very reasonable. I have since had him come back to install a hot water tank, as well as a new furnace and AC unit. I highly recommend!

I called MX Mechanical to fix my HVAC - Zsolt was responsive and very quick. He made sure everything was done properly and made sure I was happy before he left. He keeps you inform and always shows up on time plus he is a nice guy.
I would recommend Zsolt and MX Mechancial to anyone...

I had a spot on the garage ceiling.
When they arrived, they immediately cut a whole in the ceiling plaster board where the water spot was. They felt around but couldn't find anything wet, so they think it was condensation from a duct in that area. The plumber could feel a pipe connection and asked if I wanted metallic tape put around the connection....that way it would ensure there would be no leak from there.
In order to reach the pipe connection, they had to increase the hole size a little larger.
The reason I am only giving them 3 stars is:
1.) they should have told me upfront that they are not responsible for repairing any hole they make.
2.) they did not leave an invoice. I had to call the office multiple times before they sent it to me in the mail.
3.) They were only working in the garage for less than 30 minutes (more like 20 minutes). The bill was $229.50 - $79.50 for a SERVICE/DIAGNOSTIC FEE and $150.00 for Cut access out in ceiling to find water leak.
4.) They made no attempt to even sweep up the mess they left on the garage floor.

We had a waterline break at our Condo and since we have used Sullivan's before I called the office and Maureen was very helpful. The break was taken care of in a timely manner everything neatly put back in place. Rory explained everything to us, everyone at Sullivan's are very professional if we have anymore problems with heating, plumbing or cooling we will always deal with Sullivan's! A family owned business!
Thanks again Maureen, Rory, Brad and Jess!

leaky faucet in bathtub which just needs a new faucet cut out, refitted with new etc (I know enough about plumbing) and proposal with a whole bunch of other stuff I didn't ask for was 2,700. Come on fellas. I guided the conversation of how it can be repaired and they said they could do it and cost was 675 if I supply faucet and do other work.
Im all about paying for service but let's be realistic here. I do not recommend.

I had first used their website to schedule an appointment for a furnace tune-up, but when no one had contacted me for several days I ended up calling. I was scheduled for service the next day for between 10 and 12. That morning Dylan called and said he thought he might be closer to 12, but then called back to say he would be here by 10:30.
During the tune-up Dylan discovered a faulty part and showed me the old one, a new one and the difference in working between the two. The part was $100 and the tune-up was $80, but for $200 total Dylan performed all the work and signed us up for a spring AC tune-up and another fall furnace tune-up.
Overall I was very happy with the service. I only gave them 4 stars because of the website mishap. I would definitely recommend them to others!

Cleaned and serviced our Mitsubishi mini split units throughout our house. We just moved and I had never had them before and the technician was so patient and polite with his responses to all of my questions. He took his time and inspected our outdoor unit, cleaned the filters for all 4 indoor units, put them back, and cleaned the drain line for an insanely low price ($75-$99 if I remember correctly). I was very pleased with this service and glad I found them, because we did not know who installed the mini splits and most companies declined to work on them if they did not install them.

I completely concur with previous reviews about Mike (the owner) and his errors with recollection of events. His recollections or lack there are are oddly convenient and self-serving.
McVay plumbing was recommended to me by our realtor. She specifically indicated to ask for Mike (the owner) to come out and do the work which we did. He came out to our potential new home to conduct a sewer scope test. He was unable to complete the sewer scope test and because the sewer line needed to be cleaned he could only get about 68 ft. in to the main sewer line. He recommended that we have it cleaned and rescoped. I then asked him if he came out to finish the sewer scope test if he would charge us again or do it for free. In front of my husband and the home inspector he indicated that he would come back and not charge us since he was not able to complete the test. Before he left I confirmed this with him again and he agreed. Recently we found out that the sellers of the home had the sewer line cleaned with a plumber of their choice. We called Mike McVay to come back out to schedule the sewer scope test so that he could complete what he started.
Today, when my husband called to schedule him to come and complete the test he first argued with him regarding the specific house in question. Apparently, he had a hard time remembering the house my husband was referring to. After arguing with him about the house he then he informed my husband that he was going to charge us an additional $175 (he originally charged us $200 for the initial scope test) to come back out and finish out the sewer scope test. My husband addressed that he told us that he would come back and finish the test and not charge us again. He argued with him again and ultimately said that he would charge us the additional $175. I called him to address this and when I did he refused to acknowledge it and argued with me saying that he would never say that he would come back out and do it for free. After reminding him of his words which he stated in front of more than just myself he refused to take ownership and honor his statement. I promptly cancelled the appointment with him. I am so disappointed that he had the audacity to lie to me and my husband. I would never had expected him to come out and do the job for free if he had not indicated that he would do so in the first place
Next time we will definitely be going with a different plumber, hopefully one that is honest and can recall his business more accurately. Any recommendations of such a plumber are welcome!
Biggest lesson learned, get these things in writing!
UPDATE! Mike called back last night and said that he would honor his word and come back to re-scope the sewer line and not charge us! I was really happy to receive this call and news, both of which were completely unexpected. I welcome him to come tomorrow to so that I can update all of you with positive news regarding his professionalism and commitment to his customers.

The mediocrity starts with their automated phone system. Upon calling, a recording tells you to press 2 for the service department. I pressed 2 and someone answered. I explained why I was calling, and she said, Let me transfer you to the service department. I was on hold for several minutes, then someone else answered. I explained why I was calling, and she said, Let me transfer you to the service department. They put me on hold for another five minutes, then someone answered, I explained why I was calling, and they said, Let me transfer you to the service department. This has happened every time I call. Eventually I got through to someone. My air conditioning isn't working. They sent someone out to diagnose the problem. It took a day and the tech coming back another time to confirm that yes, the compressor is shot and needs to be replaced. It takes another couple days for them to call me with a quote for the repair, I approve it, then they have to call me back AGAIN to schedule the actual repair. So, a week after I initially contacted them, they replace my compressor, charge me about $3k, and THE AIR CONDITIONING STILL ISN'T WORKING. So they're sending someone out later today for another diagnostic visit, for which they will charge me another $90, because they couldn't fix the problem the first time. It's July, the weather is in the 80s at BEST, I'm out $3000, and it's been a week without air conditioning since I first asked them to fix it.
The technicians and the people I spoke to on the phone have all been polite and professional. I just wish they had actually fixed the problem they charged me for fixing.

They are scam artists. Told us it would be $650 for a simple problem that our maintenance supervisor was able to fix for $25. On top of that they insisted on us paying the $650 in advance before they even did anything claiming it was too late in the day to start but they would be back in the morning to take care of it. I have never heard of a company charging you for their service before actually providing any service at all. And just for a cherry on top they charged us $60 service fee for the 10 min he came to our office to tell us we did indeed have a problem. After insisting that their policy was to be paid first then to do the actual work we told them that was not an option and they said if we didn't pay tonight they couldn't promise they would be back tomorrow but they had to be paid the $60 service fee for the visit. Biggest waste of $60 our company ever spent.
