Real stand up guys. I'm in Hoboken and finding someone, let alone someone reliable is like looking for a needle in a haystack. After I was exhausted trying to get my 'regular' guys in Hoboken and failed on multiple occasions I contacted Robert out of desperation and without any anticipation of whether they could install a home water filter. Robert responded immediately and provided a quick quote based on pictures I sent him - easy as that. The work was scheduled less than a week later and not the typical long wait to get anything done around here. Robert and his partner were real zen and I actually felt at ease given they were so polite and kind. I really do recommend them and will be hiring them for many more jobs. Very professional service.  HUB Plumbing responded quickly and showed up when they said that they would, on time. The plumber showed up in a clean, neat uniform.  It was explained to me exactly what the problem was, and my options.  I was given a written price quote detailing what work would be performed and what it would cost, no guessing. Hub's plumber worked quickly and clean.  When he was done he cleaned up completely; as if he was never there.  The price was fair and I couldn't be happier.  I would definitly use them again and recommend them.   Sal- Brooklyn, ny

I called Peter on Thursday to ask for a quote to fix my buzzer, he never responded, so I called back the next day, at which time he said he might be able to stop by later that evening. I never heard from him, so I followed up on Monday, at which time he said he would be able to come by the next day at 9am.  

On Tuesday he shows up late at 10am, told me the buzzer would be $200 + parts to fix the buzzer. He removed my lock, and then left at 11am to take another job, told me he'd be back at 2pm, showed up at 5pm.

When it was done, he told me he was gonna charge me $400 instead of the $200 we agreed on because it was more work than he anticipated.

I explained to him that I do not conduct business in this manner, and would be paying him the agreed upon price. He was upset, and very unprofessional. I will not be using or recommending his services again.

The two stars are because after many inconveniences, and him disrespectfully trying to take advantage of me, he did in fact fix the buzzer.

I needed my AC installed. Boris and Tseren did it quickly and very well! They were very kind and patient as well. Definitely recommend hiring them!

Ciro was professional and on time to fix a leak under my bathroom sink. He had to replace a valve which was hard to find but he did and returned to do a great job. He also replaced my front door lock and spent some time cleaning out my dryer vent which was very hard to get to. I was quite horrified to see what came out of there! His assistant was helpful and polite. I am so happy to have found a great handyman who is capable. When you live in an old house there is always something needing fixing. I put it off because dealing with flaky people isn't fun. I highly recommend booking him for any job! Thumbs up.

Excellent service. Ricardo and his team were fast to respond to my need for an electrician to 1) diagnose the issue and 2) provide a clear, honest quote and 3) perform services in a quick and professional manner. We had a fuse issue that put out 6 or so outlets in our home that 2 or 3 other electricians could not get to the bottom of. Ricardo and his team came in and took care of the job with ease. Highly recommended and we will work with Ricardo and his team again if needed!

My water well pump was slowly declining so I made some inquiries around town and all recommended Aversa Plumbing . I called Joe and he came out right away and diagnosed the problem  quickly and started the job the next day. Once Joe and his team (Mike and Armando) got started they worked until the job was done to perfection! They took their time and I was very satisfied with the outcome. Really nice, prompt and reasonable.  Took Justin about 10 seconds to diagnose the problem with boiler system and when the replacement part he brought proved faulty, he immediately went and got another rather than making me wait for another appointment (my experience with another plumber).

I called this company and it's a scam. They sent a so called repair person who didn't fix my leaking fridge he just took a blow dryer and melted ice. He came up with so many scenarios and at the end my fridge kept leaking. Their number is a Google number that changes and they told me to make a payment electronically on square space. Also promised me a 6month warranty. Obviously when I called they went MIA.!!!!!! Please do not fall for these scammers. They go by Gotham appliances or K.A.R. Check out the pictures of the repair guy he goes by the name Vicky. Now if they comment they will most likely say we don't know the guy (of course they will)....
