Best Thermostat Repair in New York NY

When I needed a water heater a year or two ago I found Mike here on Yelp based on his reviews.  I called him in the morning and by afternoon he was here and gone with a new water heater installed.  Great service!  So when I had water backing up into my basement I gave him a call for that.  He had me take a few pics, and came after finishing another job that day.  This morning he came and had it all cleared up, plus replaced a leaky steam valve, in 2 hours.  Prices are reasonable too, highly recommended.

This is not an honest company.  

My boiler's hot surface igniter goes on and off.  I called the office and spoke to Donna two days ago.  I asked what do they charge for making a visit.  She replied the big boss will be there so I should ask him.  A guy came and tightened wires and said there is nothing to maintain for my boiler.  He said it's working fine and charged us $150 for something that took him less than ten minutes.  I called Donna to ask if they would charge again if the igniter goes out again.  She sounded very annoyed and said maybe she'll give us a discount if it goes out next few days.  Well the igniter went out eight hours after he visited and I called and left a message.  It's been more than 24 hours since I left a message and no one got back to me.  

They should make it very clear what they charge for their first hour and additional hours plus parts.  I know plumbers are in high demand in the winter time, but my experience with this company was pretty bad.  I felt like we got robbed because he did not fix what I called him for.

Had a dishwasher leak. Needed to remove and replace it.
Called Watermac made an appointment and they came the next day.

We needed to replace a kitchen faucet and received a quick reasonably priced quote online. Set up an appointment and Oscar came to do the installation. He was very professional and very considerate of our safety as he came in with safety mask and footwear. He did the installation and it was very good and efficient and he addressed all our questions and concerns. After the service was done, we paid what the agreed quote and it came with a year of labor guarantee. Very happy with the service and we finally found our go to plumber and hvac servicer!

Continental did an excellent job.  I called them to clean out some of my drains.  They were very accommodating, showed up on time, and were polite and neat. I Will definitely use them again.

Installed complete two zone central AC system in a very difficult 100 year old home. With a slate roof, our 3rd floor would get to 86 degrees on hot days and no one could even sleep up there. Now both floors run at a perfect 72 degrees even during heat waves. This job required a massive amount of custom duct work and was in a crawl space at least 100 degrees. Fabio was a master at figuring out every issue and problem.

Our first experience with them was very positive. Nice people and efficient, careful and clean in their work. Will definitely use them again when needed!

The best! My husband and I are relatively new homeowners and haven't all of our *people* yet. Well, we had a major boiler issue at 7pm and had no heat (and it was 27 degrees out!) We looked here on yelp for some reviews and picked Safehaven. We made the right choice! They spoke to us immediately and made it to our house that night. Tom stayed until we were up and running, and came back the next day to finish things up. We were not taken advantage of in any way despite being an emergency call, and Tom was honestly one of the nicest people we've met.

They were responsive and reliable, and were available to arrive on the same day. I needed to repair my kitchen sink pipe and Tony took care of it in just a couple of hours. Great service! Will keep them in mind for future needs.

Great service.  Quickly fixed my leaking toilet.  There was no need to order parts as they have it.  And they did clean-up afterwards.  Thumbs up.

I cant even give this place one star and after I explain you will see.On Saturday 12/03/16, I called for a clogged toilet.My tenants were calling and I could not take care of it, as I was working.I did a search for plumbers on Staten Island.Called the number on yelp which is a (non 718) area code.I asked questions, was I shopping for a price, of course that's my rite as a customer.I call the number back which is a (347) area code which called me.So in other words this company was called twice by mistake.The maniac calling me back starts cursing, telling I am a cheap bum.And that he hopes my sewer line breaks.No jerk off just shopping and getting a price.He tells me how because I woke him up at 12pm, he was charged $17.00, really.That he will call me 17 times and do harassing calls in the morning.Thats not very smart or professional.He goes on a profanity tirade and tells me to expect calls at 3am.Kept the harassing texts as proof of this individual, that he was going to F me up, which he texted me.Yeah ok,I want to do business with this company or anyone who hires a person like this.He wouldn't give his name.The harassing texts finally stopped with him being pissed for me asking questions.As I explained if this kept up, we can go to the Pct and file a police report.Your easy to identify and get arrested.All this drama just because your shopping around for a plumber.If you don't like customers shopping for prices and trusting the first person they speak, that tough.Its your business get use to it.And with luck I found a person much cheaper, then what he was telling me.Have many friends who work for the city(PD,FDNY, etc) and would never, ever recommend this company.
