Matter how long it's been since we used them. With the ice storm we lost power and I was trying to hook a generator up to my furnace. Shawn went out of his way to help me and answer questions and even called me back later to check on us. Always willing to go the extra mile and take care of his customers. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a local business! My plumbing was backing up in my front yard. I couldn't do laundry, shower or flush without a disaster. So I started calling plumbers because I know there are tree roots in the sewer line. I reached out and explained to Alan my issue and was told $350! I needed the work done and the appointment was the next day so yeah I swallowed hard and booked the appointment. I was told $125 to clear the line and $225 to take picures to see where the roots are so they can give an estimate of work to be done. So I was paying $350 for pictures, an estimate and to clear the sewer line. 3 guys show up and one guy is lowering the cutter to clear the line and after about 25 minutes he is still going. Another 25 minutes still nothing and the water has not gone down. A few minutes later they have the camera and as I am watching them feed this camera, the other guy is tapping the ipad saying he can't see anything. Someone else says maybe its the probe (whatever its called) so they switch out what seems to be batteries, not sure as I am watching this all play out from the front door. After about an hour or so I look up and they are just standing in the front yard smoking! He sees me watching them and he then verbally gives me a quote almost with a snarky smile. He then proceeds to request payment after telling me he couldn't unclog the  sewer and there are no photos! But I paid $350 and STILL no plumbing and not photos! I called Alan and was told they tried so that is why I still have to pay it. And since they couldn't unclog the drain I can't get puctures either but I paid for it! I am still livid. I asked for my written quote and STILL have not gotten it! What a scam! A professional plumbing service could not unclog my sewer, couldn't provide an estimate and no pictures. I would NOT recommend this business at all.

Very honest and hardworking plumber. I would highly recommend him! Professional and polite. Showed up on time as scheduled, and great communication via phone and text.

One of our toilets was knocked loose from the seal. When flushed it would leak where it meets the floor. Called Monday, was told Thursday morning was as soon as they could come out. No problem as we just used the other one. Later that day they called and said there was a cancellation and could come Wednesday. The plumber arrived near the end of the 4 hour window. He did call first. He was professional. He looked at the job . Gave me a quote. I approved it. He got right to work. Took about an hour or so.
While the cost was more than I had hoped it would be, the job was done when they said. Nothing more s inexpensive anymore.

We had a strange hissing noise in our wall. Our Home Warranty company sent Everon's to us. It was a Saturday, and they were the only one in the area available to come out that day. We were concerned we had a leak. The person was schedule for 5-6pm, but he did not arrive until 6:30. When he did show up, he spent less than 5 minutes evaluating the issue. He proceeded to tell us that This is just the way pipes sound. You have no insulation in that wall. We of course believed him. He was the professional. He claimed that if we had a leak, There would be water everywhere!

Well, last night we noticed some strange buckling on the seams of our flooring. The flooring was installed in August, so it is BRAND new! This morning, just about every seam of our flooring had buckling in the vicinity of the hissing wall. We called our Home Warranty company and they sent a different plumber, who discovered a pin hole leak in our pipe behind the wall. The wall itself is soaked from the inside, and the flooring in half our kitchen and hall all have to be replaced. Only part of this damage is covered by the Home Warranty company. If Everon's had dealt with the issue on Saturday night, we would not be replacing our BRAND NEW floor tomorrow.

My review of Happy Hiller as a new customer.  It is that time of the year when we were needing to get our HVAC unit serviced.  Kind of new to the area and not having an HVAC serviced here before we reached out to Happy Hiller.  I had read mixed reviews so we thought we would give them a try.  They were very booked up so we scheduled 2-3 weeks ahead for an appointment between 8-10 AM. We received a call just after  9 AM the technician was on his way.

Now it is 11:50 AM that morning, almost noon, and 2 hours and 45 minutes after we received the call stating he was on his way.  We have not heard from anyone and not seen anyone.  We really need to be leaving soon so we call Hiller.  I get a rep on the phone who looks into the issue.  The rep states that they tried to call us at 9:10 AM and again left a voice mail at 9:15 AM to reschedule.  First off, I was just called a few minutes prior to that stating the technician was on his way.  I received absolutely no call after that.  No call stating they were running late, no call to reschedule.  I asked what number they called and left the voice mail.  They provided my number.  Ok, I received their call after 9 AM.  First off, why would you say he is on his way then secondly, call back later to reschedule.  I didn't believe any of it.  The call rep seemed to get very irritated towards me and was very short with me.  She was less than friendly at that point.  I was very nice to her, not upset, very calm tone, just wanting to find out what is going on.  I stated if he isn't on his way then I would like to just cancel the appointment.  She reached out to him and placed me on hold.  When she came back he was going to be here in 10 minutes.  That was fine.  I said that was fine and thanked her.

He arrived in 10 minutes.  He was, I guess you can call it, professionally nice, but not personally. He didn't seem very happy but wasn't rude.  He first asked me if I was interested in the Happy Hiller Club.  At that point I would think about it, this experience isn't going great at all I am thinking.  This is more than 3 hours after I was told he was going to be here.  Yes I was waiting 3 hours from the I am on my way call and 2 hours late with no, I'm sorry I am late.  Technician acted like nothing was wrong.

Techician went to work on the HVAC.  Came back and was talking about a part that needs to be replaced and kind of quickly went thought what he found.  Stated he could replace the part.  It would cost $199 for him to do it and $6 for the part.  I asked him what was all included in the $199.  He seemed to get very agitated when I asked him.  He said Well it is for me being here, my time,  Ok is this where the Happy Hiller True Tranparency Pricing comes in?  The least I would have expected, since I never got an I am sorry I was late or 'I was backed up (which he stated he wasn't backed up), would have at least offered a discount for the repair or something for the huge inconvenience.  I only say that because I have worked in customer service for more many years and if you make a mistake, you want to make it right for the customer.  You want the customer to have the best experience possible.  No one tried to make anything right here.

I asked the technician if I can have a copy of what was done.  He stated they do not provide copies of the work that was done.  He never told me what he did even when I asked.  Kind of avoided the question.  Just told me what needed replaced.  There is no Transparency here.

Would I just Happy Hiller again?  Based on this experience no.  Would I recommend?  Based on this experience no.  No notification of being late, no appologizes for the inconvenience.  Phone reps very infriendly when you simply just want to find out what is going on when someone is almost 2 hours late.  Unprofessional customer support and a company not willing to make things right for the customer when they know they are in the wrong.  There were no phone calls or voice mails to reschedule.  They never tried to reach me to notify me that they were going to be 2 hours late.

The staff that comes out, are very professional. Its the fees that I have a problem with. Why the hell is there a trip fee? I have never heard of that. That fee applies even if the work gets done. I will never use Choats for repairs ever again.

This company is great for plumbing needs- had a backed up drain  on a hardwood floor. They fixed the backup problem. But, do not use for clean up- I was not told on the front end that they would not tear out the whole floor. Also, they moved the furniture out and now I am stuck with moving it back- floor installation people will not moved back what they didn't move. So now I have to find people to move furniture. I would have used them for plumbing fix, but not clean up. I was left with a mess for weeks.

We purchased a new unit from Conway 5 years ago and have not had any issues.  We also pay for the service agreement once again not any issues until Wednesday evening when the unit stopped working.  Tech arrived several hours after promised time and supposedly tightened a contact wire fixing the issue.  Not so much had to call them out again and it was a bad valve not an issue.  Just got a call from Conway they will have a supervisor out on Monday to take a look at the system,  Monday really!!!!! I pay the monthly payment for service yet I have to go 5 days without AC so you can send a supervisor out to figure out if the part is needed.  What kind of service is that?  What am I paying the extra money for?  I will follow up with the status on Monday.  Have a great weekend please stay cool for me.

I cannot recommend these guys enough. The tech was on time, very efficient, and didnt nickel and dime us to death. He went over everything with me and and got our AC working better than it ever has.

Was assigned this company from our home warranty for repairs and they never showed. When we called to check on the appointment, they were incredibly hostile, rude, and inappropriate. They called us horrible names. The most awful experience ever. Reported to our home warranty company and they flagged them as a hostile vendor. DO NOT USE THESE RUDE PEOPLE!!

This company is a rip off. I paid $750 for an HVAC condenser unit, and all I got was a bucket of non-working rust. Does not honor his contract or guarantees. I would never use them nor recommend them to my worst enemy.

Called them with specific instructions to replace garbage disposal and kitchen faucet, and check other faucets in property while there, and detailed instructions to call property owner when they were at the location.  None of this was done.  They left a paper which after their trip charge etc. totaled over $200 with the recommendation that the faucet needed to be replaced, which is why they had been called to begin with.  After calling their office I was asked if I would now like them to come out and replace the faucet.  Do not make the mistake of using this company to be bilked for nothing!
