This is an update on my previous post about my attic door . Conway Services contacted me, sent a contractor to my home and repaired my attic door. I appreciate Conway Services for making the repair.

I experienced the worst service possible with Conway Heating & Air. Their quality of service is non existent. I scheduled 4 different appointments to have my yearly air conditioner maintenance completed. During all 4 appointments no one called to state they need to reschedule or cancel. Yet; when I called the service person informed me the technician called and left me a message. Let me state; which I told them also that was a total and complete lie . I advise any and everyone don't use this company for any service because they are totally incompetent and liars also...

I'm so disappointed in Conway Heating & Air. They post everywhere Guaranteed Satisfaction. But, guess what, I'm beyond dissatisfied.  I reported my problem to them 3 weeks ago. The young lady  (Lisa) in the refund department said, she had just seem my information on her desk & that she would refund my account at that time. (No refund). I have called too many times to count & the receptionist always take my information & say someone will give me a call but no one ever calls me back.  I'm truly disappointed.

I called for an appointment for someone to come & give me an estimate for a whole house generator. It was 3-4 weeks before I could get on the schedule. My appointment was from 8-12 noon.  I called them the day before to confirm my appointment.  The lady stated yes you are on the schedule, &
David will be the person who comes out.  I waited until 12 noon on the day of my appointment, & no one had called or showed up.  I called & spoke with Israel.  He stated that yes I was still on the schedule.  No one bothered to call, or show up for the appointment.  I have always checked to see if a company that I'm planning on doing business with is a credited member of the BBB.  I also read the reviews before doing business them.  I did not read the reviews this time, because I've been doing business with them for a few years, until after this treatment I received.  So I'm not the only one that that are doing this way.  This is such a disrespect to the customer.  I have used them for many years & this is the appreciation they give me.  They installed a tankless water heater, a new furnace, & a new air conditioner. Plus I have paid them to do maintenance on my furnace & air conditioner every spring & fall.  Wow!!  I've always heard that you will eventually see someone's true colors if you deal with them very long.  I called & asked to speak to the manager, & the lady said she would have someone call me.  Well, that never did happen either.  Guess they have all the business they want now.  Good thing there is competition out there.  If they don't want my business, I surely don't want theirs.  Good riddance.

I purchased a $16K generator that isn't working. When I called the service line I was told that they would have a technician out to my home on 7.21.23 between 8 and noon. I received a call back about 45 minutes later and was told that the manager stated that the technician/electrician wouldn't be to my home until 8/24/23.  Currently I am without power to my home due to the generator that was installed has failed.
This is totally unacceptable. I have recommended this company to several neighbors and friends and they have purchased generators. Please be aware that they do not live up to their promise of excellent service and treating their customers right.

First let me say we have used Conway for years as they put in a new system for us in 2009 and they have serviced it over the years
That being said when you have an issue they try to price gouge you.
Today we had them out because the heat was out, come to find out it was the circuit board. They gave me a price of $1100 to replace it or they could put a new furnace in and they could finance that. Well we set up to have an estimate on the new furnace but as we waited for Conway to come we had another guy come out. He also said it was the circuit board but he replaced it in a matter of minutes for $450. Sorry conway you have lost my buisness.

While Conway is certainly not the cheapest company in the area, at one time I believed the premium prices were worth the services provided. I have spent a considerable amount of money, probably more than I should have, with this company over the years. I was even foolish enough to spend money on their service plan. While most of the services Conway provided  in the past were performed well, although with an inflated price tag, the latest attempt to get Conway out to our home has been a disaster. After three no call/no shows, I'm beyond frustrated with the lack of response and care this company has shown. The lip service provided by the customer service team is nothing more than that, just empty promises falling on deaf ears at this point.

EDIT:
I texted their Quality Insurance team as instructed in this company's response. Never received a call back from them. Did set up a fourth appointment with someone in their Customer Service department. Let's just say, I was less than surprised when they no called/no showed on this fourth appointment as well. There's no excuse whatsoever for a company to make four separate appointments, not keep any of them and not even provide the common courtesy of a phone call to the customer. Save yourself some time/money and find another reputable HVAC company. There are plenty out there who will do it better for less.

*****In response to your request****  Text or contact you!!!?...It's too late, you never called us back after so many phone call to your office. Just a lot of excuses and promises nothing happened!!! We finally contacted another company and they showed up the same day and serviced our unit. You lost our confidence and our business.*****

Not sure what is happening at Conway but they haven't been showing up. Our first appointment was Friday and no one showed up or called. Nothing over the weekend or Monday, Tuesday and here we are Wednesday and not a word. Called and spoke with the office several times but same promises that come and go.

We have an account for two homes, it would be nice if they just told the truth of what is actually happening. Today we finally decided to call another company.

Conway, my parents used you for years and after my father passed and mother had debilitating stroke, my mother just recently received a quote from you to replace 50 Gallon Gas Hot water heater for $3,300.
Let me say this, if this is how you do business in Memphis, your contractors license should be revoked for price gouging.
50 Gallon Gas Hot water heater $700 plus tax, labor to remove and install new $400.
Anyone that has this same issue with their hot water heater please reach out to me and I will be glad to connect you with fair and honest people.

Same issue as before got ny biannual service scheduled no show no call.  Have spent close to 12 hours waiting at home between the scheduling dates.  Calling customer service for updates does no good.  And I pay monthly on time to not be treated with any type of concern. I can no longer support this business.

I had to pick a raring so I picked one star and I really don't believe they deserve that. We had a tech come out to service our old unit which was about 11 years old and the tech talked as if it was a dinosaur.  He couldn't find a leak in the house nor outside at the unit so he proposed charging it but said it would cost thousands of dollars because  it wasn't even reading that there was any freon in it. He called a service manager to come out and give us options and boy did he ever. We didn't agree at first to the options but he kept pushing and even got a little aggravated that we wouldn't take the deal. They drummed up this story that it was better to just purchase a new unit and blah blah blah. So we agreed but during the install we were told that nothing was wrong with the unit nor the lines but by that time they was here for install so we went with it. Long story short we got shafted with a 11,000 unit that's too big for this 900 square foot house. In other words he over sold us. We trusted these 2 guys and they lied. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY BY NO MEANS. They have people out here selling units that they don't need..JUST TERRIBLE

I am a home owner in Olive Branch, MS and a business owner.   I scheduled with Conway to have my 3 HVAC units in my residents serviced and cleaned.  They talked me into purchasing their annual service plan.  We scheduled the appointment and they called 30 mins prior and asked to reschedule due to potential rain.  I agreed, but as a side note it did not rain.  The next visit they didn't call or show up for.   The third visit today - once again no call or show up. They have an answering service that is useless.  Expect to verify all your contact information 3-4 times with 3-4 different people.  Which is a waste of time because they will not call you.  We all have see the Conway vans with the owner waving.  You better off to return with wave with the bird and not bother to call these clowns

Although technician was extremely nice, he misdiagnosed the problem. I still paid for the service although the upstairs AC was not fixed. Set up three follow on appointments. No show three times with no calls. National call center was worthless. Going elsewhere with my HVAC. I recommend you do the same.

Conway gave me a 10am appointment. No one showed up until after 4:30 pm. They were supposed to do a routine winter service. The technicians did not have any filters. They did had a long list of repairs that I needed though. After they finally left I looked at the thermostat and it was blank. I called Conway to tell them my system was not working even though it was working before their technicians started their service. Conway said they could only send someone back in the morning to look at why it was not working now. We had just come out of days of ice storms and the over night low was 26 degrees. I troubleshot several reasons why my furnace was not working and figured it out myself. Conway is a waste of money and time.

Conway was scheduled to come out on 5/19/2023 to repair a water leak on the inside of our central ac unit between the hours of 9 am to 1 pm and never showed up nor did they call to cancel or explain why there was a no show. We waited all day but they never showed up.  Today is 5/21/2023 and still no call.  I have used Conway for years but don't have any plans to use them in the future.  You have lost my business and further more you are overpriced and ripping off your customers. I'm gone!!!

Can I give them zero stars?   Have a delta faucet was dripping.   Took them two days to come.  The tech insisted he knew all about faucet. He told me how he worked with the owner of the company with these faucets.  Hmmmm
.  First he said there were particles in solenoid.  He cleaned that.  That didn't work.  The. He said that the washers in the intake valves were bad and had to replace valves for 400 plus dollars.  Well first he tired to make a joke and say it was thousands     Not funny   Never good to joke about money in my opinion.  Ok fair enough we said ok fix those.  He replaced them. And guess what.  That wasn't the problem. So I told him it's time to calll delta   He couldn't even find the right number.  I gave it to him.  Oh and he left the tankless water heater on and almost burned it up it was screeching so bad it work up my friend who realized what the feckless tech had done.  Luckily it wasn't damaged or so we think

Then he drops some tool into the area behind the sink and can't get it out.  Delta says they are sending part.

A week later here he comes again and asks me where the part is.  Duh.  It's not here yet.  But he does get under the Sink and retrieve whatever he left there last time

And when the part does arrive he's ordered the wrong part  and ....... That's not the part that controls the leak /  drippy faucet anyways.

Good news. He was happy to show me videos of him shooting big guns.  I didn't ask to watch. He just saw some memorabilia in the house and thought he d share his hobbies with me

So if you want to spend 500 to not get your leak fixed and waste days of your time.  Call Conway. Otherwise find a real Plummer and steer clear

I should have read all of the negative reviews about Conway before I hired them to do the yearly maintenance on my 7-yr old Trane HVAC.  It was working just fine before the service.  The first time I turned on A/C, it ran for a few hours then stopped running; the heat wasn't even working.  I called Conway to come out and they missed TWO (2) appts; didn't even show up or call to tell me they weren't coming....how inconvenient.  Finally they showed up and said my circuit board was fried and it was be $600 for labor (the part was covered under warranty).  What could I do....I had been w/o a/c for 3 days and it was 88 degrees in my house....so I was sucked into signing the document for the repair......it tool the technician 50MIN to install.....$600 for labor?? are you kiddding me.  After MANY calls to Conway, I FINALLY got in touch with Alex who offered to give me a $167 refund, which was a pain to finally get that completed.  What a horrible experience I had with Conway, and I will never use them again.

I would give them zero stars if I could.
Our water heater went out on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Since I paid for a Conway Club membership (for years), I called them. They said they would be at my house between 2-6pm. I was sent a text and email confirming this.  I called repeatedly and was told twice a tech would be there and would call me.  Never happened. The third time I called (at 8pm) I was told the office had been closed since 2pm and there was no tech coming out because there was no one in the office!  So I was lied to.  I ended up calling Hiller and they came out on Sunday and changed out my water heater.
Conway called me on Monday and I told them what happened, cancelled my membership and will never use them again.

I still have not heard from Conway about their awful service, or received an apology from anyone except the person who called me on Monday.
Never use them.

Perfect name for a terrible company CONway. I will never use them again. I requested service on a mini split repair that was scheduled for the morning.  I called several times throughout the day and only one guy showed up after 6 pm at night. WHAT? You can't be serious. The guy that showed up never gave me an estimate on what it would cost. He just says it's going to cost, really. I spent almost $6000 on an HVAC unit from them a couple of years ago and the new unit is worse than my old one. I won't get into the frustration and ridiculous conversation I had with them. They make no apologies, but are full of excuses. How are they even in business?  Just know I would never recommend them and I will not use this company ever again. They are HORRIBLE!

I'm giving them 2 stars only because of my past experience with Conway. With the current situation I'd give them negative stars if I could. Had an appointment on 5/10. They called the night before at 9:45pm saying they were too busy and could I reschedule for Thursday between 12 and 4. Fine, no problem. Thursday came, no one called or showed. I called Thursday around 3 and verified my appointment. Friday comes around I call them back. They said my appt was for Friday (but it wasn't). Anyway, we rescheduled for Saturday between 8 and 12. I called that morning to confirm. I was then told it was scheduled for 12-4. Ugh. So I call them back around 3:55 because no one had called or shown up. I was given a tech's name and was told I was next. Guess what? No one ever showed or called. I called them Monday morning, got another appt for Tuesday between 10 and 2. Another no call, no show. I'm fed up. I called them again today and the lady actually got loud with me. Said she'd pass along my info. I go to their website and chat with someone who also said I would get a phone call. Now I'm trying this.  Absolutely ridiculous.  Not sure what is going on with them.  They've always been really good up until now.

I have a new HVAC system installed less than a year ago.  The installers were great guys, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.  On Sunday, 5-6-23 my unit started to not cool and would start to run then stop before it reached my set temp.  I called on Sunday and the very nice young lady set me up for a repair appt. for Monday, 5-8 from 8-11.  I took off work.  At about noon I get a call that it was rescheduled for the afternoon.  OK.  No one showed up, no one called.  I called on Tuesday morning, and was told that it was rescheduled for after 4 pm on Tuesday.  I leave work early (more time lost a work) only to have a no show, no call no explanation.  I finally get a vm from HOUSTON telling me that the service appt. is reset to 5-11.  Evidently, all appt.s are scheduled out of Houston,  I live in Millington TN  This is absolutely unacceptable service.  I have asked to speak to a supervisor, not call back either.  I spent 12k on this system and expected good service.  Very disappointed, to say the least.

Had new heating and air installed 12 years ago. The heating never worked from the get go. They would not replace the lemon heating unit they installed after months of going back and forth! So here I am today Dec.23, 2022 1degree outside and the temperature inside my house is 64 degrees. Think twice before using them. They do not stand behind their installation or their product. The unit they installed is a Carrier. Works great in the summer however.  I'll probably have to have it replaced and spend another $7000. They had to use a crane to get it up on my condo building.

I have 2 main issues with this company.

1.) I contacted them for their monthly routine service in January of 2020 when I moved into my new house.  I never received a response so I figured they didn't need any new customers.

2.) the last few times I've shopped at Home Depot there is always an annoying lady who tries to hard sell me for their service that I never received a response to in the first place.   The last time I had to tell that lady to leave me alone and I was ready to mace her if she kept following me.

Those 2 reasons stated above as well as the other reviews are why I'll never use them.

Conway installed my home's HVAC system and did a good job.  The project was slightly over-priced, but we were desperately HOT in July.
Then for the next 3 years I had  them checkout the system at the start of the winter and summer seasons.  And they did a good job on that too.
This summer, I called them to set up a date and time period for the system checkup again.  But, they were late for the appointment.  The company operators were always polite, but I called them up 3 or 4 times and asked them to please contact their service tech and ask him to give me a brief call and let me know if he was REALLY coming to my home.  I had already wasted 4 hours of my day, but would wait if he planned to come.  The operators, each time I called, said they would send an email to their tech.
The tech never called or showed up.  And I wasted all day waiting.
I rescheduled again.
The second time the SAME EXACT thing happened again!
SO, like a sucker, I thought maybe the third time is the charm and rescheduled again.  And I WAS a sucker, because that scheduled checkup was today... and once again they did NOT showup or call.  I've wasted 2 and 1/2 months and 3 days on this simple checkout project.
So, Goodbye to Conway forever.
I would prefer to have given then NO stars, but that impossible on this site.
One thing is certain.  The word SERVICES should be dropped from their name.  That is false advertising.  Unless you put POOR in front of it.

My AC compressor started tripping on low suction and needed some refrigerant. Tech stayed on the line with service manager the whole time trouble shooting the problem. Did not know how to charge 410a and overcharged the system and wound up venting gas to get sub cooling back to normal around 10 to 12 degrees. Got the unit running and then charged me $354 for 410a that he had to vent. Did not list how much he used ( wasted) I would never use these  people ever again.

I contacted Conway about a laundry line and bathroom sink that were not draining properly.  I was informed that the only way to solve the issue was to replace the old cast iron piping underneath the house.  I agreed to have the work completed because it is an older house.  Conway did come out within the next couple of days to complete the work.  They dug a trench in the backyard to gain access to the pipes under the house.  After the work was reportedly completed, the sink in the bathroom was still not draining and there was an open trench left in my backyard.
I again contacted Conway to inform them of the issues.  I was told that they could not determine why the sink was not draining.   They continued by stating that the trench was left open because there was no clean out drain on the house.  However, the house actually has 2 clean out drains.  I paid 13k to have the drain pipes replaced.  I had to wait 2 MONTHS before having this issue resolved.  The bottom line is that Conway was quick to collect the money and slow to complete the work properly.  After calling for months, I could not get them to come out and do what they were paid to do.  No one at the company is on the same page.  I got a different response from each person I contacted.  TWO MONTHS and 13k later and I still had the same issue I was having before contacting Conway!  When I decided to file a complaint with the BBB and with a bank that uses Conway as a vendor, I finally got a call back to try and resolve the issue.  I WILL NEVER USE CONWAY AGAIN!!!!

Rep came However when they left my tub was not draining calls back 9 am on Monday was advised I have to wait until Tuesday with a bathtub that still had backed up septic water in it. Which is unacceptable!  I asked to speak with Manager was placed on hold only for customer service rep to tell me her manager Matt said it will still be tomorrow. Don't trust CON - Way  - they are CON artists. My HVAC system was making a strange noise, so I took a family member's advice to call Conway for an inspection. The technician examined my system, took 2 hours, wrote up $5,000 worth of parts that need to be replaced, then recommended I buy a whole new HVAC system since mine was 17 years old. Next day the Salesman comes to talk about the new systems I could choose from for $10,000 and up. Then comes pressure - if you sign today my Manager can give you a discount. I backed away as I needed to think.
Next day I hired an independent HVAC technician to come diagnose my problem, which he did in 30 minutes of testing. The blower motor needed replacement, that's it. And a new thermostat. Total parts and labor $500. Works just great again. He told me my system is a Trane, top of the line, will last many more years.
Bottom line - Don't trust CON way.

I've been a Conway customer for 20 yrs.  very satisfied until a couple of years ago when Conway started doing hard sells for items such as whole-home surge protection, air purifier, etc.  And I do mean HARD SELLING.  They hurriedly sent a supervisor out when the tech doing my maintenance didn't get me to bite.  I did add an air purifier because my husband had pulmonary issues - only to find out 2 yrs later that they put it on the wrong unit.  Most recently, was having issues with the unit not cooling consistently .  Took them 3 visits to determine that it was a refrigerant leak and then quoted $1500 for the labor to repair it (part was under warranty).  $1500 for 3 to 4 hrs of labor!  Ridiculous.  This company has gotten too big for it's britches.  Repair was done by a competitor for 1/2 the price.  I won't be using Conway ever again.

Conway is the biggest rip-off A/C company ever.
The A/C and heating units in the new house I bought were installed by Conway.
In the first month after we moved in, we noticed how cold it was with the heaters on. I went upstairs to check the heating units and discovered it was warmer in the attic than it was in the house.
I called Conway and they sent over a tech to check it out. Tech told me that the ventilation ducting that was installed were the wrong size and that's why the hot air was leaking into the attic. He said whoever did the install didn't know what they were doing. He said he would install the correct size hoses and seal up the system. So, he did. But I still have problems with the ducting falling off the heating unit to this day. I have to go up into the attic and close them off with duct tape every summer. And, my heating bill is twice as much as it was it my other house.

Next, in the summer, one of my central air units stopped cooling and I called Conway (stupidly). They sent out a tech who said he would recommend replacing a part and cleaning out the A/C unit and it was nothing major. So, he said it would cost $650 to do that. So, after I was stupid enough to pay him, I look on the internet and find out the part he replaced only cost $20.
So, basically to clean out the A/C unit, all he did was squirt some water from my garden hose on the A/C to clean off some dust.
$650 dollars to replace a $20 dollar part (took him 5 minutes) and 5 minutes to spray some water on my A/C.

Lesson learned: Don't ever call Conway Services unless you want to get ripped off.

Do a wonderful job just have to wait 2-3 hours after the time they say they will be here. Hasn't just happened once this happens every time I call. I'm in the process of selling a house and they are suppose to come look at the AC i bought 5 years ago, I was told they would be here at 8 am and then waited till 10 and was told they over booked, then came back after being told they would be here at 12:15 and now it is 1 o'clock and have yet to hear anything from them.

UPDATE: Eric finally showed, super nice and hopefully is in and out in no time!!

If you're considering Conway, or a current customer, then it's likely that paying a premium for services is not a problem (and that's okay) They are one of the more expensive HVAC install/repair (and now plumbing!) contractors in our area. Today was their second seasonal visit since i have been helping with overseeing my mother's work in her house and her maintenance contracts.
A few years ago, she paid a premium to add insulation to all surfaces in her attics and crawlspaces. It was expensive, but it made a big difference in her utilities and temperature in the house. In short, Conway has destroyed the insulation around the interior hvac units and never mentioned the destruction of the insulation. Today was their 4th and final visit. I'm attaching pictures if I can. Again, Conway may be great in some instances, but the oversight and obvious lack of respect for a homeowner is unacceptable and needs to be called out. I reached out to one of their competitors last winter inspection and talked about this. His response just guaranteed a customer if i can end the Conway contract: The only way you will know I've been there is that your air is working. Sold. Good luck, Conway. Oh and the one star is for showing up.  I found cooling leaks at the inside unit last season. They came back out and fixed those, too. Imagine how many customers don't check and just continue to pay. Shameful.

My bathroom sink and tub were draining disconcertingly slow for the last week.  They got super jammed yesterday and I knew my 69-year-old home probably needed a little plumbing tune up.

I called Conway around 3 p.m. and they had someone available to come to my home by 9 the next morning.  I pushed it back in time and they accommodated.  Thanks!

Service Professional David Price was super nice - I didn't mean to rhyme, I promise.

I got a call a half-hour before his arrival so I could be ready and put up my dogs.  David arrived, assessed the situation and I told him about that big old earring I dropped in my sink the other day.  That couldn't have had anything to do with the tub, so maybe that wasn't the problem.  Who knows?

You're going to think I'm NUTS, but I had to get to work and I left him in my home.  You know how you can just feel that you're dealing with someone who has integrity?  Well that's how I felt.  He knew his stuff, he mentioned how long he had worked for the company and I knew all of my belongings would be in my home, when I got off work.

Needless to say, the sink and tub are clear of blockages, all of my belongings are here and I didn't spend an arm and a leg.

Conway, all the way.  I meant to rhyme.  Yes. I did.

This company service commitment is awful. We spent a great deal of money to have our plumbing repaired. They dug up our yard and replaced 3 toilets and TONIGHT our initial problem has resumed. Our toilet will not flush and our tub is clogged and full of water. This is unacceptable and I'm furious. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING CONWAY!!!!

DON'T USE THEM!  I contacted them this past April to service my AC for the summer.  It was cooling fine until they serviced it for summer.  By that afternoon it wouldn't cool at all.  They refused to take responsibility for the damage and wouldn't replace my outside unit and refused to pay me the $2500 it cost me to get a new unit.  I'll never use them again and I recommend you don't use them either if they're not going to take responsibility for their mistakes.  I would give them no stars if it gave me the option.  I bad mouth them to everyone I know including people that read this review.

Conway Services made a response to my review.  That was their excuse not the truth!  Their tech damaged my unit and the CS comment was their excuse!!!  That's right they blamed another company that serviced my unit 3 years earlier.  What a joke!  They have a negative mark against them with the BBB from me!!!

Had an emergency plumbing situation late last Saturday afternoon.  Called Conway Services. The good thing was they had a plumber there within 30 minutes.  The bad thing was the plumber tried to sell me a simple flap that goes into the toilet tank and the little connection hose from the water source into the toilet tank for about  $250 or over 10 times the cost of both these items at Lowe's.  I was expecting to pay a premium price by buying it from the plumber, but I thought this price was outrageous!  The plumber finally discounted the price of the hose down to $100 which indicated to me that his compensation was determined by himself as to the maximum amount he could gig the customer for these additional parts.  He did not sell me the tank flap.  The hose was already installed and tank filled with water before he told my cost for it.

I understand from the BBB that this was not an uncommon practice by many plumbers which was all a surprise to me.  So, warning, if the plumber starts indicating you need a lot of other extra parts or equipment over and beyond the cost of the service call, be sure to establish the cost of these extra items before making a decision to buy them or you might be very surprised.  I did not know legitimate companies of any kind operated this way.  Don't understand how they expect to get repeated customers.  Fooled once but never twice!

This company has a con game going on to get commission. They are robbing their customer's blind.
When they quote you a price that will cost you thousands of dollars to pay then beware. It would behoove you to have another company come out for a second opinion.
Our drain technician was Omar Trejo. When he came out he ran the camera into the drain and then pulled up a picture to show my drain line.  The drain line he showed me was different than my drain line. He showed me a fake picture with damage on his laptop after he ran the camera.
The next step is that Omar will then request another Conway crook to come out to agree and confirm his findings.
They have an agenda to make money off customers to get a bigger commission at the customer's huge expense.  As a woman I thought I could trust the technician but things just were not adding up.
So, I called another plumbing company out for a second opinion and they could not find any drain issues or damage.
Don't get scammed.  Do yourself and your pocket a favor and get a second opinion.  It could very well save you thousands of dollars.

These folks do NOT give free estimates.  When you call them to get a quote, they charge you a fee.  Luckily, they told us about the fee up front so we declined the appointment.  There are lots of other companies that don't charge a fee.

Upset to say the least...Before I explain what caused me to give Conway a 2-star rating it's important to understand why we moved to Conway, to begin with. We had one of those GREAT AC guys that the entire extended family used for about a decade. That was until I became suspicious of some issues that were just not old enough to occur. I wanted to call a company that I knew to be large and reputable. I did my research and noticed that Conway was not only large but had an overall favorable review rating.

The technician that came out quickly uncovered all the wrong that had been done through the years. He documented the issues and even offered to be available in the case our current provider wanted to dispute them. This made me understand the importance of having departments like customer service and techs that don't actually financially benefit from running the bill up. Needless to say, I was sold as a customer at that point.

This brings me to yesterday. We ended up moving the following year into a new home. One year into the home the AC goes this past weekend. Because of the experience above, I wanted the people I TRUST to come assess the situation before I call the builder. The tech from Conway came out at 10:35AM on a 9:30AM - 10:30AM window. My wife had to pick our child up from school at 11:00AM. We figured this would not be a problem seeing we just wanted his assessment.

The tech informed us that the unit is freezing up because they didn't put some cap where you add freon and that was the only problem. After adding the freon he spends another 1.5 hours working on an unknown issue. He eventually comes back to tell us the entire compressor is gone and will need to be replaced. This is where things went south. My wife said he became really agitated that we would not let him do the work. My wife tried to explain that we don't want to pay for something the contractor is responsible for fixing. Below is a literal quote from his notes.

I also I want to note that the homeowner told me that she was in a rush to go pick up her daughter as soon as I arrived on call so I offered to reschedule and told her that it would take time for me to diagnose her system properly and she told me to go ahead and do everything I needed to do so I proceeded to diagnose call properly she did not want to listen to anything I had to say and told me she would get her contractor to fix problem so again I offered to reschedule and again she declined homeowner paid for 4 lb of 410A and service fee $405 with a check check number **** homeowner complained about price and I told her that's why I needed to provide all of her options to her to avoid her paying for a repair that was unfinished

My wife told me the tech was rude and couldn't comprehend why would not pay him to fix the problem when we could get it done through the builder at no charge. We called for his advice and advice only. We only agreed to the freon based off him telling us that the missing cap was the reason it needed freon. Why would we put freon in a unit that had a bad compressor and maybe you can't tell that kind of thing without doing so. I don't know. What I do know is that the person that came out to our house lacked compassion and complete understanding of what's best for Conways's customer. He literally told my wife that the builder is going to get over on us (in not those words) and that is why we should let him do the work. As a parting gift, he wanted to charge us as much as possible because he knew he wasn't getting the work. My wife being late to pick our child up just wanted this individual to leave, so she cut him a check. I originally was just going to note this techs name and make sure he doesn't return in the future because he made my wife feel uncomfortable with arguing about not letting him do the work and ignoring that she needed to leave because our daughter had been waiting over an hour.

Update...Just got off the phone with Cordova Air. He said that there is nothing wrong with our compressor, but we do have a leak. I guess we understand why he was being so pushy to let him do the work. I asked the guy out today how much he charges for freon and he said $35.00 a lbs. Conway charged us 79.00 a lbs. We also had 3 duplicate $89.00 charges labeled diagnostic: service (NPR). Did we get charged 3 service charges? If so, what was serviced??

We purchased a new unit from Conway 5 years ago and have not had any issues.  We also pay for the service agreement once again not any issues until Wednesday evening when the unit stopped working.  Tech arrived several hours after promised time and supposedly tightened a contact wire fixing the issue.  Not so much had to call them out again and it was a bad valve not an issue.  Just got a call from Conway they will have a supervisor out on Monday to take a look at the system,  Monday really!!!!! I pay the monthly payment for service yet I have to go 5 days without AC so you can send a supervisor out to figure out if the part is needed.  What kind of service is that?  What am I paying the extra money for?  I will follow up with the status on Monday.  Have a great weekend please stay cool for me.

This was a great experience. I called the number and was greeted by a very nice person who told me that she could get my appointment the same day. She explained how everything worked and that I would receive a confirmation call soon.  Within the hour I received a call from another lady who confirmed my appointment and then told me my technician Mario Oliver was on the way.

Mario was on time and introduced himself as he came inside. I didnt feel pressured by him and he was very professional. He was also very personable and I felt comfortable with him working on my home.  He worked quickly and explained each and every step without me having to ask about updates.

He then made sure I understood the service, the paperwork (bill) and even offered an option for me to save money over time. I didnt feel pressured by this and he explained each option clearly. If I have another home issue I will definitely consider calling Conway as I was very pleased with the service I received.

Super upset with this company.I wish I could give the less than one star.

I requested service from Conway services and I will say technician come to my home said he couldn't repair my system as it was to far gone.  The condensing unit was not running at the time of the call but the air handler was running. He stated on the repair order he wrote out said,
system evap coil leaking compressor is over amping the disconnect box The disconnect box is completely melted. The heat exchanger is rusty. system is R22.
EVAP COIL $2750.00
HEAT EXCHANGER $2336.00
COMPRESSOR $4051.00
DISCONNECT BOX $545.00 for a total of $9682.00.
First how could that TECH check the charge if the system when the compressor is not running? It couldn't be running because the disconnect was melted as stated by the tech on his report.
Here is the issue I had with this entire ordeal. I came home from work to look at all this stuff he had identified before the salesman came out. I pulled the cover off the disconnect and see what the condition of the disconnect was in and the amperage of the unit. I found the breaker was not completely set on. Cycled it from off to on and the unit has ran now for over 36 hours with no issues. This company just wanted to rip my wife off as i wasn't home. I truly wonder how many people have been lied to like i was and had been charge thousands of dollars when it was just a circuit breaker trip. Consumer beware. You lost my business John Conway.

I hope to never have to use them again.  This past time it was 80 degrees out and I ask the tech if he was going to check the freon.  He said no because it was not hot enough.  This was of course after he tried to sell me everything in the world.  So I called another company, showed them what Conway said and this tech said there was nothing wrong with my A/C but it did need some freon.  Then I also found out that possibly Conways techs are on commission so they have to sell in order to make money.  This came from an hourly A/C tech who gets no commission.
SO BE WARNED WHEN DEALING WITH CONWAY.

If I could give no stars I would. I wouldn't send anyone I know to use Conway Services. Unless you like a company taking complete advantage of older people. I don't know how a company can feel good about themselves knowing that is how they do service.  I personally nor anyone I know will EVER EVER use this company. They charge in the high thousands for a one day service with minimal actual parts. They won't give a detailed bill of what they actually did and how it totaled up to the final cost. When you call they actually could care less that they charge so much to a older couple knowing they over Charged them.  Even the insurance told them that they were in the wrong and charged way beyond too much. I work in the service industry for myself and I am telling you now I have never nor would I ever take advantage of anyone like this and especially not older people. I have no respect for a company that can do this. Be very very aware.

I could not be happier with their service. They take their time, are always courteous, and they don't try to hard sell you on equipment. People on here have complained about their prices, but you get what you pay for. An efficient, quality, reliable HVAC system is gonna cost thou$ands. That's just a fact. You might as well spend that money with a company that takes good care of their customers & stands by their products.

They hire good, trustworthy people who are kind to your pets & don't tromp a bunch of dirt through your house. Chris performed our initial check, and Ricky and William performed the installation. Matt was our sales guy. They were all kind, respectful, very professional gentlemen who explained everything carefully. I felt very comfortable having all of them in my home.

We signed up for their Comfort Club, which immediately provided about 3x more savings on our a/c system than we paid for the membership. Honestly they run their operation the way every business should.

I called to receive an estimate for HVAC replacement and compared against several other dealers. Conway offered a lesser brand (payne) installed for similar specs as Carrier or Rheem. The more concerning part was that the person sent out for the estimate did not check the air handler properly - it was less than 5 year old, 16 seer unit that can take 410a freon and had a 10 year warranty. The other companies clearly understood this and offered to only change the compressor. Aside from leaving this key information out, the agent used high pressure sales tactics, indicated he could not provide financing after offering to lower the price by $200. When I spoke with a manager, he was rude and condescending. He seemed to understand Payne was made by Carrier, and that Carrier was a higher quality brand. When I explained who the competitor was, he googled it and indicated they are open from 8-4:30 and that Conway service plan is 24 hours. I've never seen a service plan that does not offer 24 hour service. The staff is very rude, and pushing the sale of new.

I would not recommend Conway.

We used to have a service contract with Conway Services in our previous home in Cordova, you replaced our furnace there, and we were always impressed with the services and professionalism. We moved to midtown four years ago and have a home warranty on our house, but we have continued to use Conway Services to service our heat & air systems. I have also referred them to many others over the past decade, but I now find that my trust and confidence has been abused, and possibly misplaced.

We had a furnace check-up done on 10/24/17 by Conway Services. According to the technician we needed to replace the Inducer Assembly Motor ($866) and the Blower Capacitor ($257). He also indicated that the Blower Motor had a very high amp draw. Since we have a warranty contract, I declined the repairs from Conway Services. Based on the technician's report, I submitted a claim with my warrantee service. The warrantee service sent a contractor, Shelby Heating and Air, to check out the system today (10/28/17) and found nothing wrong with either component. I witnessed the multimeter readings and the Inducer Motor reading was 0.8 amps, and the Blower Capacitor read 8.7 amps. Both readings are within normal operating ranges. The Blower Motor amp draw was 6.0 amps (within normal range), not the 8.9 amps that Conway Services technician claimed.

The Conway Services technician tried to sell me replacements (Option A) for over $1100, for components that were still operating with normal specifications. After paying them $57 to check out my heating system, it cost me another $75 to find out that they had ripped me off, in an attempt to sell me components that I don't need.

Buyer beware! Professional demeanor doesn't mean that they know what they are doing, or that they aren't trying to sell you something that you don't need.

I don't know where to start on this one! Ok we are not looking to replace our air conditioner which Conway put in but it broke after ten years but we had three or four people come out here and try. We had several different people over here and all up with opinions and none of them worked and cost us $2K to do it all and still not working. Screw Conway wanting $10k for a new air conditioner and we called me grandmother for help and she did just that! Dude came out here and fixed for less than $2k and it's running fine right now. It seems that all the people from Conway had its own opinion about my air conditioner 4 times but as soon as the guy came over here he fixed right away. Still running strong. Screw Conway and it's high prices.

There 99.00 coupon is not good for the main line inside the house, only outside, so it cost me 59.00 service call to find out the printing on the coupon means nothing. Then I was told if I pull the toilet off myself It would only cost 749.00 to run the snake about 5 ft. This place is crazy just like all plumbers jack up the prices after they arrive. There online hook an switch methods gets them 60.00 at the least. ( I did receive my 60.00 back)

I have been a customer of theirs for approximately 5 years. For my last scheduled maintenance call, I asked for the first available appointment after 10:00 a.m. They called at 11:23 a.m. to say that their technician  was still on his previous call and as soon as he was finished he would head my way. They also said they would call me and let me know when he was on his way.  I did not hear from anyone until 6:15 p.m. when  they called to say that they could keep me on the call list for later that evening or reschedule my appointment.
I stated I did not want to do either one; that it was hard for me to understand that my original technician was still on the same service call from earlier that morning and no one from Conway had called me for 7 hours to keep me informed.

I called yesterday and was told a technician would call me half an hour before coming today. It would be between 8am-5pm or 9-5, something like that. I asked if she could narrow that down, even morning or afternoon would help, I said. She said, No sir. It's Wednesday, so I stay home, hoping to get luck with a morning call. I'm getting married in 6 days and I've got dozens of errands to run. I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally at 5:30pm I call again, and the dispatcher says the tech will contact me as soon as his current job is finished. It's now after 7:30pm, and I have no courtesy call or anything else from them. I'm glad other people have received such good service, but Conway's been a complete nightmare for me. Total waste of an entire day for nothing.

Conway recently advertise a $99.00 main sewer line cleanout special. I called and requested this service as I was having problems with my main sewer line; I had been told my another company the line had roots in it. Joe W. from Conway came to do the requested service and when he ran the video camera inspection, he was able to determine that my problem was not roots, but in fact a pipe/connector underground was actually broken and would have to be dug and repaired. Joe did a great job in showing me what the problem was (showed me the image on the camera), and what would need to be done to fix it....the service provided during this call was great.

While I had no issue with the service provided by Conway, I felt the price quote they gave me to dig the pipe and repair it was quite high, and quite frankly borderline exorbitant. I spoke to another company about the issue, requested an estimate from them, and they were able to do the same work at a much better price.

While I had no issue or complaint about the service I received - again, Joe W did a great job and was very knowledgeable, professional and did a great job explaining my issue - I do feel that Conway's pricing for my needed repair was excessive even though it did require excavation and was not a small or relatively simple job.

Was not happy with my overall experience.  I did get a good system cleaning system and a recommendation on replacing some things.

The tech also said there was a crack in the heat exchanger. Took some readings on the Carbon Monoxide meter and came out with the lowest reading possible.  Had me feel the crack with my finger and said I should replace it immediately. Even had the manager come out and verify the crack.  Then brought another sales person in that tried to upsell me a brand new system.

I then got a second opinion with Choates. Sent one of their most experienced techs out. He  the used a camera to check the heat exchanger and the whole system. Gave me the benefits of replacing the parts. Did not upsell and did not charge me anything.

I am a fan of Choates!

Saw their advertising and called them out because my furnace wasn't heating.  Very professional scheduling process with follow up confirmations and very friendly staff, The tech showed up as scheduled.

The tech spent about 20 minutes in my attic and returned to give me the bad news.  My furnace was shot.  He began listing components that needed replacing, motors, controllers, transformer and said it would cost less to replace the entire furnace.  I said, That's odd, it was working fine until yesterday and all this is wrong?  He proceeded to give me some technical explanation and I finally said okay give me the cost.

My wife met with their consultant, as I had to go to work.  He told her  our best option was to replace the furnace and coil with the option to save money by replacing our air conditioner now as well.  They were going to throw in a free air cleaner and thermostat and offered us financing if needed.  When my wife called me with the news I was dumbfounded.  The bid was over $8000 with an option $3500 for the air conditioner.  I told her not to sign anything.

I spoke to my neighbor that night because they had a company replace their air conditioner last summer.  I called that company for a second opinion.  They diagnosed a $239 gas valve replacement and my furnace has been working like a champ since.

Conway is professional and a known name in Memphis because of they obviously spend a lot on advertising.  I suspect their techs are simply driven by commissions on sales.  Beware of free offers!

I own a tankless water heater and it is time to get the heat exchanger flushed.   Instead of depending solely on the company that installed it, I felt it was time to seek other vendors to get price comparisons.   I asked for a service call, but was told that since I did not purchase the Renai Tankless Water Heater from them, they will not come to my home to give me an estimate.  They refused the job.   Who refuses a money opportunity job, if they have the expertise to do it?  I don't know if this company is a fraud or if the Tankless Water Heater was a bad investment.  Who would ever dream of being held hostage by an installer, if no other company will work on it?

Absolutely they were's company I have ever in my life had to deal with our air conditioner unit went out on us on Saturday and   They literally said we will have someone out on Monday at 8 o'clock never showed up never called then we had to call them and we had four customers ahead of us  showed up just looked at the problem never fixed it said they had to order it and it is now Thursday and we are still dealing with the same situation.    So  talk to the  manager  and they basically said they  they are not a part store .  So another words go with a company that can go get the parts here in town not someone that orders parts from China or from cross country and you having to wait to get them  so therefore call a company and make sure they can get their parts before you book with this terrible company

BUYER BEWARE this company just wants to up sale their services.
On 07/03/2018 we had been without water for three days due to broken water line.  Listed below is the series of events.
9:10 approx. Called Conway Services about the problem. Told everyone was in a meeting and I would be called when someone would be sent to repair the broken line.
10:26. Conway phoned that someone was on the way eta around 40 minutes.
11:15 approx. Man showed up to give an estimate, not to do the repair.  Showed him where the line was broken.  Gave an extremely high estimate ($875.00 to $3,000.00) saying that I did not know where the water line was.
11:30 approx.  I called to complain.  They said they would someone else out.
11:49 Estimator/salesmen called to say he was sorry for the misunderstanding, then tried to sell me on replacing the water feed lines to both our house and our rental with some expensive pipe. I told him I was not replacing 4,000 feet of pipe.  Both times this estimator/salesman was rude and conceited.  It seems his job was to get as much money as possible out of me.
1:30 approx.  I called Conway inquiring when someone would be here.  Was told as soon as someone was freed up he would be sent out.
3:26 Conway called to say plumber's eta was 40 minutes.
3:47 Conway called to say plumber was not coming out because he was allergic to poison ivy and oak. Was told as soon as someone was freed up he would be sent out.
6:45 I called Conway and they said no one was coming and I could set up for them to come out on 07/05/2018.  I was then told I needed to call American Leak Detection to find the leak (cost over $400.00) even when I had showed them were the leak was, then they would come out to give another estimate.  I asked to speak to the plumbing manager.  I have not heard from him.

This was our second interaction with Conway for our downtown Memphis condo after signing up for their Comfort Program.. Dallas was our technician. We could not have had a better interaction. He was polite, spoke with knowledge and was very clean. He wore the booties which was not needed but I think he just does it out of habit which is very smart.

After reviewing the unit, he said it looked fine and did not try to do any upselling. He was very honest and gave us a couple filters for our new tenant who is moving in.

Conway has won our business from the first person picking up the phone all the way to today and if they keep up working that way, I will go out of my way to recommend them in the future. We will surely ask for Dallas again on any future calls.

I know they do plumbing so it seems obvious we would contact them for that as well.

I contacted Conway Services in order to perform an AC tune up the second week of April 2019. I had not turned on my AC this year at all. The technician spent a great deal of time trying to up sell and convince me to purchase a new unit. After completing the AC service, I didn't cut the AC on to see if it was working properly. However, I cut the heat on two days later and it would not stay on longer than seven seconds. The heat had been working properly before the technician arrived. I called and they sent another technician out to diagnosis the problem. The new technician stated a smart switch was needed for the furnace. I am upset because the furnace was working before Conway came to my house. In addition, the AC unit froze up and there was not a discussion how this could be avoided. In short, I just wanted my AC tuned up but I ended up with heat or AC. Lastly, there was fuse to the outside unit left unplugged and the box closed as if it was plugged in. I would not recommend Conway Services.

I am from Memphis and not CA. Not sure why it shows I am from Cali

They never gave my son the video of his pipes and they told him they would not charge him the $900 the video and blow out cost if he signed up that day to let them do the work. Their quote was $20,000. Yes! That is not a typo. They got another quote and it was $6,000. Again, they never got the video they paid for and had to have the second company redo it.

PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! don't use Conway services. They deserves a double zero. I will never ever use them again. I am seriously considering contacting a lawyer about Conway Services.  I responded to a special offer for AC and heat unit tune-up. They came on 9-4-19. While there one of the men disconnected something from the compressor, then took a needle nose plyer and twisted the electrical post. I didn't think nothing of it because I thought he was doing whatever needed to be done. They named all kinds of problems with both the furnace and the compressor, claiming that the previous company who serviced it did not do a good job, and said they can fix it all for $3,581. Of course I declined.  On 9-6-19 I noticed during the night that the house was getting warm, so I checked to see if the air was turned on, and it was. No air was blowing. After sleeping in a hot house all night, I went outside to check the unit and notice that a wire was hanging from the compressor. I saw where the end of it had come off of a post, so I tried to put it back on the post, but it wouldn't fit. The post was damaged so bad that the end which was attached to it would no longer fit. Now I am going to have to call someone else to fix what they has destroyed. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.  Especially when it comes to Air and heat units.

Service techs have always been great, but their sales people are the HVAC equivalent of used car salesmen.  I severed all ties after after being taken for a ride for 10 years as a comfort club member.  Prices are much higher than competitors' and I'd finally had enough. Buying anything from these people is time consuming, high pressure, and uncomfortable.  The paper work alone is not unlike a real estate closing, and they make you pay upfront, days or weeks before they actually do any work.  Do yourself a favor and call someone else.

UPDATE
After my review below, Conway called me to understand how they could make it right.  Robert spent a lot of time to explain the technical aspects of the inspection.  After getting two second opinions, we had Conway replace one of our A/C units.  The crew was professional, respectful to my home and to my family.

Great work and I will have them replace my other units when it come time.

They seem only focused on up selling, tech couldn't or wouldn't give me the simple answer to the perceived issue.  I am not an HVAC expert and expect that the tech to lay out options in laymen's terms allow us to make an informed decision based on understanding and not scare tactics

I was a member of the Conway Comfort Club and I had hoped that this would help me catch issues early and have them resolved.  This unfortunately has not been the case.  Although I had a plumbing inspection from Conway, they did not uncover the 2 issues/problem that were identified by an inspection.   I know inspections are picky, but I would hope that plumbing inspections would find plumbing issues and provide options that prevent new problems from occurring  Per the inspector, both issues were easy to spot.  Both issues caused additional problem and increase cost.  Even in correcting the initial problem they did not go far enough to prevent new issues.  I spoke with the plumbing manager and I was still left frustrated and with the cost of a new repair.  My comfort club is now cancelled on 5/30/17 and I will definitely not recommend them to the new owners.

Conway Services installed 2 complete HVAC systems in my home at a cost of $15,000.00. I am having problems with mold building up on the registers. I was told that I needed new filters. I replaced the filters which did not resolve the problem. I was then told I needed to purchase from them 3 air purifier systems at a cost of $1200.00 each to resolve the mold issue. Now I am being told that I need to have the registers cleaned by them at my cost. I am constantly getting the run around with this Company. VERY POOR SERVICE.

I called Conway Services to repair my air conditioning when it went out this week.   I am a member of the Comfort Club which promises priority scheduling and discounted prices.

I called on Monday night when it was a sweltering 89 degrees in my house at 11pm.  We happily have fans, so it wasn't necessary to have a tech in the middle of the night.  However, as they do have staff on call, I was hoping to go ahead and schedule the appointment.  Instead, my name and number were taken with a promise to call in the morning.  Yes, they did call as promised, but it would be great if those answering the phone at night could just schedule a time.

Tuesday morning, I got a call just after 8.  I requested a time after noon to better fit my schedule.  I was told I would be scheduled first available after 12pm.  At 1:30, there was a follow up call that all techs were busy, and I was still next in line.  At 4:30, I called them, not knowing what time they usually stopped for the day.  The tech finally arrived at my house after 5.

What I'm trying to point out is, that this company's scheduling leaves something to be desired.   However, from the moment the tech did arrive, everything went MUCH better.

Robert R. was my tech.  He  introduced himself, and asked nicely to come inside.  He was professionally dressed, and even put on funny booties to protect my carpet.  These are small details, unrelated to my repair, but every bit helps when I invite an unknown repairman into my home.

Getting right to business, he tested the entire system both inside and out, and quickly diagnosed the problem.  He showed me where the source of the problem lay ( a clogged pipe) and what it would take to repair.  He saved me the cost of a service visit by combining the repair with my Comfort Club annual servicing.  Once I approved the repair, he completed the work quickly and efficiently.  When I asked how I could prevent the problem in the future, he even added an extra piece of piping and recommended that I flush that part monthly, as it can be known to clog. By the time he was packing up his supplies and preparing the paperwork, my house was already feeling cooler.

I appreciated being given paperwork with all the results of the AC testing.  If I have problems in the future, I'll have something for comparison.  And when I followed the tech outside so I could close and lock the gate (which I had opened for him after crating my dog), I found he had already secured my gate without being asked.

This is my second experience having Conway visit my home, and I am very pleased with the work done and the professionalism of their technicians.  Thank you!

Got a complete system put in by Devin C and Matt H. Super professional. Great job. They are true wizards of HVAC installation. One second, I had an old, broken and outdated system. The next thing I know, abracadabra, my vents are blowing snowballs. With no trace that they were there, except for a beautifully installed system. Forget David Blaine, this is some real magic. Thanks!

I made an appointment this past Monday for an AC check on Thursday.  In the early afternoon I called to see if I could get an estimated time of their arrival. I was told that I was way down the list as they were fulfilling total AC outages first.  I could understand that if it was mid July but on the first day of warm temperatures I don't think a non working AC would be considered an emergency unless there was a medical or other emergency.  At 5:55 I got a phone call but I was making dinner, didn't hear the phone and didn't check for a message until after dinner. When I did call back I was told that it was too late and that there was not another appointment until next week sometime. I have used Conway a few times in the past in fact they installed my new unit last year.  Apparently since then service has deteriorated.  They are hard to get hold of; although one of the receptionists was trying to be helpful the other did not seem to care about my business at all; and would not give me an appointment on the following day.  Very bad customer service.

Hard sale tactics from inside sales rep who tried to sell me a completely new unit inside & out for over $3600. Called another hvac company & they found a small seal outside that was leaking & replaced. This fixed the problem for $125. This has been over 2 months ago with no additional problems.

They installed a complete new heat pump to replace my 22 year old unit. Extremely knowledgeable and efficient installers put in a 14 seer unit which is much improved over the old system.  It was a pleasure to have them here as they were real pros.  They had to do some extra cutting etc. to get the new unit in place but stuck to the original quote.  I found no drawbacks in using this company.

My entire heat/ac system went out just before Thanksgiving. fo Conway Services was willing to send a tech and a sales person. Tech didn't bother to find the problem but suggested a new system.  Sales person came later and gave a quote. A day or so later I called back asking for another quote to change my system over to gas instead of the heat pump I had. They promised to call me back. Couple of days went by....no call. So I called again. Promised again to call me back. Never did.i guess they are just too busy for a new customer or a customer who's not going to just fork over thousands of dollars without checking out the options. Never gonna call them again I can promise that!!

The extent of my A/C problem was over exaggerated and price gouged because they assumed I didn't know a thing about HVAC repair. I called Conway out to look at my A/C unit because it was making an awful noise, but it was still cooling. The tech spent an hour and a half looking at my system and came back with a quote showing a repair price of more than 4k, and told me it would be better to get a new system. He called out a 'comfort advisor' to talk to me about new unit options and financing. While waiting on the comfort advisor, I did some research on the parts he suggested replacing and noticed they were charging nearly $300 for a part that costs roughly $20. I understand that labor is involved as well, but they didn't break that down on the quote so there is no way of knowing how much labor is charged. I let the comfort advisor into my home with an open mind anyway, and instead of wanting to address the issue of my unit, he asked to look around my home to count returns. My house was built in 2000, and it passed building codes/inspections. There is no need to add additional returns to make my A/C work. Keep in mind, my air works, it's just making a loud noise. He asked when my husband would be home and other personal things I wasn't comfortable with. I told him we would need to reschedule the appointment. Well, I had someone else come out to look at my unit. Within 15 minutes he told me that it just needed a cleaning, freon and a couple of parts. Conway tried to price gouge and unethically sell me a new unit because I was a 'clueless' female. I thought that a 20 year company on Angie's List and BBB accredited would be a good choice. Sadly, I was mistaken. I can't imagine how many single ladies or elderly people they get this way.

***Since the posting of my review, Jeff with Conway contacted me.  He was very understanding and assured me that he would look into the issues and address them. They are refunding my diagnostic charge, which I thought was a nice gesture. They do seem to be very focused on customer satisfaction. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day. Use your own judgement.

The technician who came out was very courteous and polite.  However the comfort specialist they insisted on sending out was not.  He was in my home for all of two minutes before telling us we needed an entirely  new unit ($4500-6000).  After telling him three different times we could not afford that, nor did we believe we needed that, he finally relented and told us someone would be calling us on Monday with a quote to replace the coil, which he said would be around $2800.  No one ever called.  Another company was recommended to us, the guy came out and changed the coil, parts and labor, for $1250.  Will NEVER call on Conway again, nor will I ever recommend them.  Hard sales tactics and straight up lying will never garner my business!

I made an appointment on 24 January 2017. When the operator answered she asked How may I give you outstanding Customer Service?. I got a promise time of 0900, for someone to come and give an estimate on some plumbing. I finally got a call at 0947 that the guy was on his way, so I asked about my promised time, and she said that it was unavoidable, but that they had a meeting at 0900. I asked why I wasn't called at 0900, and she said that she didn't know, but the guy was on his way. At 1045 I called and asked where the guy was, and she put me on hold. She then told me that he had stopped to get a drill for my job, I asked why he needed a drill to give me an estimate. She started spluttering, and I asked if I was going to get the diagnostic fee of $59.00 waived since he was so very late. Of course she said no! So I said NO! Cancel my call! Terrible Customer Service! Rip off and scam artist! BEWARE! Do NOT use this Company! Also goes by the name of Efficient Attic Services. NEVER trust a company with more than one name and that has an LLC, behind their name, THEY ARE RIP OFF ARTIST AND WHEN THEY SCAM YOU, YOU WON'T HAVE ANY LEGAL RECOURSE!

Jeremy Allen was my service tech and was better than on time.  He was early. He is truly skilled in His craft, not to mention his mamma raised him right too. Any of my wife's questions were quickly followed up with Yes Mam and a simple to understand answer. When I arrived home, my wife began giving my the diagnosis of the problem quickly followed by the two options to fix it all the while Jeremy sat patiently as she explained it all to me. He checked all my units, made the few repairs needed and waited about 15 min to assure that the repaires were working properly.  All while wearing bright red segical shoe covers to make sure not to track dirt or debree into my home.  He offered me the option of joining there Comfort Club with some really cool features for upkeep and maintance of my equipment but in no way was did I ever feel pressured or attempted to upsail me on anything.  Good experience all the way around.  Jeremy is now my Tech should I ever need services and Conway will be my first call.

AC upstairs stopped blowing cold air.  Chris G. showed up to fix it.  Extremely professional, very well spoken and knowledgable.  Chris spent several hours tracking down the source of the problem to a leak in a freon pipe.  He provided his recommendations on other concerns he saw during the inspection, and answered several questions I had.  He provided up front pricing on all the options to fix the leak, as well as recommended improvements.   He never pressured me into the recommendations though.  In addition to fixing the leaking pipe, he cleaned out the rust from the condensor tubing/tray, and applied additional tape to contact points at other key locations on the freon piping.  Chris ended up staying well past 7pm.  Overall I was very happy with Chris' performance and professionalism.   As for the pricing, I think it was a bit expensive, but it was thorough and appears to have been done right the first time.  Its been working for several weeks now.

Another satisfied customer!  After receiving a recommendation from a neighbor satisfied with their service, we called on them to evaluate our current HVAC system.  Being 19 years old, there was concern over its efficiency.  Sure enough, Tarqus and Wiley spent a couple of hours checking and double checking our system having found a small leak in the furnace and rust in the system.  We made the decision to install two new systems and take advantage of the year to pay it off.  Just days later, Jason R., Jay D. and Dan T. all were on hand in a very hot attic I might add working away getting the job done as promised and on time.  They cleaned up nicely and you would never know they were here except for the extreme quiet we now enjoy in our backyard with the new system versus our rattling old one.  It was nice to have the techs and company representatives speak so personally and so positively about John Conway.  I saw their pride in working for this company leader who insures that the jobs are done right!

Steve, our salesperson, was sexist right away. He met with me and my husband, and even though I was buying the air conditioner, he would look at my husband and not me, and made a comment to my husband about getting in trouble with the wife if the air was broken. When I asked about price, he would only tell me how much I'd be paying each month for 24 months. I went and got a calculator because he wouldn't' tell me the price straight out. I was shocked at the price, $ 8000 for heat and air for our 1,000 sq.ft house, but it was the middle of august, so I said ok. He signed us up for a home depot credit card for 24 months interest free. 12 months later my bill has a charge for $2,000 in interest. They say I signed up for 12 months interest free, not 24. Home depot credit services refused to help me. I called Conway, they told me to call Home depot. I made them call steve at home on his day off. He said he would straighten it out Tuesday, which is nice, but I will be worrying about this all weekend.

Had Conway replace our entire HVAC (except ductwork) with a new Carrier system. Knowing that the quality of the install is just as, if not more important than the system brand, I chose Conway based on their reputation for making sure customers are happy. They also had a very competitive price. I must say that the installers were completely professional. They were very respectful of my home, taking care to make sure they completely cleaned up when they were done. I was working from home when they did the install and they respected that by being quiet and very courteous. They made sure I had opportunity to review their work and ask questions before they had me sign off on the job. The install looks very clean and well done.
