Best Home Cleaning in Baltimore MD
Quick to schedule and do good work. Labor/Service charge is the highest around and unpredictable. Seriously, not even 15 minutes of work, non emergency call, during a weekday, less than a mile from their office... $170 labor charge! I'm baffled. Previous calls have been reasonable and even insightful as once they even showed me where to get an old school piece and how to do some work myself. This last one has me at a loss for words though.

Fantastic and quick service at a fair price. I was very impressed by this father and son owned business.

Ben and his helper arrived on time and provided a solid estimate before performing the work. The quality of the work in repairing a pipe and replacing the elbow under a bathroom sink in the process of fixing a water leak was exceptional. In addition to removing a stubborn clog. I would definitely use their services again.

PUMPHREY PLUMBING came to my house to troubleshoot a leak and pulled up my toilet and FLOODED MY HOUSE. After I got done moving things that were pulled out of the way during this catastrophe, I tried using my Rainbow vac to be sure they got up all the water....AND THEY DID NOT, SO I CALLED THE PLUMBER AT 5:45PM and told him to send someone back that night to remove the water before MOLD sets in. He said that they had removed all the water and that no one would be coming back that night. I told him they had NOT REMOVED ALL THE WATER, since I was still picking it up with my Rainbow Vac, and asked him to come with stronger equipment, so that MOLD wouldn't develop. He had someone call me to make an appointment for the next day. I called him back and told him I need the cleanup THAT NIGHT SO THAT MOLD DOESN'T DEVELOP, since my online research showed that MOLD CAN DEVELOP WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE WATER DAMAGE. He told me that MOLD would not develop that soon. I WARNED HIM THAT I MAY HIRE A LAWYER TO GET MY MONEY BACK, SINCE I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO PAY FOR A MOLD REMEDIATION COMPANY, since my Rainbow Vac wasn't powerful enough to pickup all the water. He told me to CALL A F*KING LAWYER THEN. I hung up the phone. What kind of reputable plumber #1 pulls up a toilet without shutting off the Water Main? And #2, what kind of reputable plumber that floods your house, won't respond to their customer, to totally remove the toilet water, they have just poured all over their house? BEWARE FOLKS! DON'T PUT YOUR HOUSE AND HEALTH (MOLD) AT RISK BY HIRING PUMPHREY PLUMBING! I REALLY WISH SOMEONE HAD WARNED ME! Hope this REVIEW Helps Someone Else.

Fred did not actually provide any services. However, I still felt the need to write them a good review. We had a leak in our new home in our well water system. We know NOTHING about well water stystems. It was late on a Sunday before a Holiday. He still returned my call and took the time to listen to our problem and advised us on what he thought the issue has and how to repair it. That kind of service is near impossible to come by! I will be contacting this company with any future plumbing needs!

Tim provided quick same-day service on a Sunday! His price was competitive and fair. He showed up early, was professional and down-to-earth. I had twin bathroom sinks that were not draining. He snaked down to the main and replaced the p-track and another pipe. He takes Venmo and check (and credit card with a fee). If you want to see more reviews he is highly rated on Thumbtack. I would highly recommend Tim!

Josh came out to our house, after out basement was flooded with a burst pipe. He quickly identified the area where the pipe burst and affected a timely and effecient repair. We had the water back on quickly and his work was excellent. He also cleaned up after he was done and did a really fine job. We will use his services again. It was a really good experience during a very trying time.

Chesapeake Plumbing is a dishonest company. I have had a leak in my bathroom and before I chose to hire them I tried to properly vet them. I told them about my leak and asked if they did drywall repair. I told them that the cabinets needs be removed to see the plumbing. I specifically asked will I get a complete job to get this done, I was assured that I would. After there installer was already there for an hour he calls me to discuss the project and then I find out that they don't do caulking or drywall repairs. I said I asked for a complete job, it's fine that your company doesn't do it but why say that you do to get a job? Be honest in the first place because I wouldn't have hired them. He suggested that I replace the wax ring and tighten the shower arm, they did that and left. That did not work and I still have a leak. They are saying it may be the caulking. They did not remove the cabinet to check the pipes for leaks. Now they are charging me almost $300 to replace a wax ring and tighten shower arm without fixing my problem. I talked to the owner to tell him my concerns and told him my vetting procedure. He flat out called me a liar and accused me of trying to get out of paying my bill and threaten to call the health department. If they did not lie to me in the first place and promising me a complete job I would have gotten someone else. Do not trust these people they will lie to get a job!

Had non flushable wipes and tampons clogging my main home sewage line (yikes!) to the street in Towson, Maryland and they came within hours to run their metal sewer snake and unclog it! Very professional and reliable. Will use again if another sewage crisis occurs!

When asked for a HVAC qoute, they demanded that both husband and wife be present. This is a common hard sales tactic. Not interested.

I hired Ken Griffin Plumbing as recommended by Fireside Patio for installation of a gas line for a new fireplace insert. Great service from start to finish. The consultation included an on-site visit that provided two options to run the line with costs for each, as well as a recommendation to get the gas meter upgraded. The installation went even better. A year later and everything is still working great!!

We had an issue in April with our outside faucets leaking badly. We also wanted the rear water line moved to the outside of our deck. Dillon quoted us what we felt was a somewhat steep price but we agreed to the work. WOW! All I can say is that this young man is an artist! Not only was the work done with extreme care with mask and proper social distancing, but he was very careful to wear sure coverings when in the house. The work this polite young man did was nothing short of amazing. Well with every penny. Thank you Dillon.
Today we had Luke in to locate a basement leak and replace two faucets that were malfunctioning. This very respectful young man was also very careful to always use shoe covers when in the house and was careful to wear a mask and social distance. The work was impeccable.
Don't know where you find these guys, Apple, but keep up the excellent work!!

I thought they would be a reliabe HVAC contractor but was not. When I called I was told there would be a $75.00 charge to come out. OK but when the repairman wrote up the bill it was $150.00 because I had 2 units that needed work The one unit needed some low voltage wires wires reconnected. It took less than 5 minutes. The other unit needed a contacter relay replaced on the outside unit. when I was presented with the bill, I was charged $208.00 fer a contactor I could get online for less than $50.00. Total bill 433.00
But that is not all. 6 weeks later the outside unit he replaced the contacter on stopped running. I called them. They came the next day. Same tech, Joshua.
When he arrived , he removed the thermostat from the wall and tried to convinced me the thermostat was no good. I had another thermostat on a shelf near the thermostat mound. (the exact same thermostat) I handed it to him and he put it on the mount. This took less than 3 minutes.
When he presented the bill it was for $225.00. I had done several tests to see weather the thermostat was working before he arrived and after he left I re-hooked up the other thermostat. There was nothing wrong with it.

Had a clog in our shower on first floor. Worker came examined pipes and cleared clog. Mentioned the pipes in kitchen were slightly pitched and redoing is something we might want to consider. He didn't think that was the cause but said it's possible. Gave us quote and after speaking to him I felt confident it wasn't necessary and causing the issue. He was very knowledgable and patient explaining everything and gave some tips. Overall I was very impressed. He even cleaned the shower after!
About 3 months later, we had food coming up the shower. Found it odd since we decided to not use the disposable up until that point. We were cautious about putting food down that is only recommended, doing so very slowly, and ran water 2 minutes after to keep it flushing down. Figured it was a fluke incident. This kept happening here and there. We decided to stop using the disposal since it must be causing a problem. Now the shower is backed up again out of no where.
So I decided to give them a call and hope they stand behind their work. It seemed apparent the initially clog might have not been 100% cleared. It just seemed to back up so soon after. I talked to Mike and he informed me they only have a 30 day guarantee. He said they can't control what goes down there after that point which it understandable. I tried my best to explain the issue which is what you have read up to this point. He denied that the clog had not been properly cleared because they ran water. Yes, water will successfully go down a drain if partially cleared. If it was, there wouldn't be things coming up so soon. He said in his notes it was recommended to redo the pipes and we denied so it's not his problem. I told him what the tech said and if it was really the issue we would have had it done. The goal was to completely address the problem and fix it once and for all. I trust what the tech explained to me and I believe we made a well informed decision- to this day. He was excellent. I suppose Mike didn't want to be accountable for the possibility the snaking didn't completely get the clog. Mistakes happen. All he was willing to do was a snaking for $150, no warranty. We declined after I spoke to my husband and I told him how the conversation went. He was border line rude and condescending at times. Once I misspoke and said, It started clogging again 30 days after instead of 3 months later. He said, Ohhh!! So now it's 30 days huh? Make up your mind. First it's 3 months and now it's 30!!. I told him I misspoke and there was no need to be rude. It was very upsetting to be accused of being dishonest for misspeaking. I wrapped up the conversation since I was getting beyond frustrated and being rude back. We just wanted this issue properly addressed and fixed the first time around. So maybe there was a mistake made on their behalf. I don't understand why Mike couldn't own up to this possibility. So in the end, I wouldn't recommend. If the service works out, you'll be fine. If not, you might be in a similar situation. We had another company come out and the clog is cleared. He confirmed that the kitchen pipes were not causing the problem. He solved the cause immediately. The pricing was much better. If I went with this company the first time, I could have saved so much. He also figured out why the kitchen sink was leaking. All's well that ends well. I at least owe a thanks for Mike for speaking quite a while to me. Hopefully this review will help potential clients receive better service in the future. Maybe this company can learn that mistakes can happen and give clients the benefit of the doubt. We unfortunately were not so lucky.

This company is a big scam. I should not have trusted Jeffrey Muncey and the owner. I paid for a project that was not completed.
Jeff Muncey locked my property and ran away with the keys without completing the project. I had to buy a new lock and pay a locksmith for a new installation. I paid upfront $750 to Valley View Handyman Services for nothing. They are not responding to phone calls or texts. This was a total nightmare but I'll make sure that justice will be served.
I have more details but hope this summary warns others so they can avoid similar cons.
