Best Water Heater Installation in Kansas City MO
I am from out of town and needed a old rusted faucet, supply lines, and shut off valves replaced. I called Gene's Plumbing & Sewer Service on Friday, they said they could come out on the next day SATURDAY between 12 and 2 pm and gave a fair ball park figure over the phone. I said Heck Yes. They called me at 11:40 am the next day and said they were on there way. They were professional, clean, efficient and very fair priced. The job came out perfect and I didn't get down the floor upside-down and do all of the work myself. They did not charge me extra for the Saturday call. what a great company. THANKS GENE'S , you saved me time and money and a sore neck/back.! THEY SHOULD BE THE FIRST #1 ON YELP. I CALLED #1 AND THEY COULDN'T HELP ME TILL NEXT WEEK

A keeper. I recently moved into an older home with a somewhat recently installed furnace. The furnace had a bad exhaust fan so I called another company who came out and inspected it. After charging almost $80 for the inspection they tell me they don't have the part to fix it. So I called A&H. The tech suggested that I contact the manufacturer to see if there was a warranty on the furnace and the company indicated the furnace was out of warranty.
A&H, on their own contacted the manufacturer on my behalf and pointed out that based on their records the furnace should still be under warranty!! I ended up only paying for labor which I was glad to pay since the tech was a 1st-rate professional. Not only that but A&H helped transfer the warranty from the original owner to my name.
Blown away!

This company is an absolute treasure.
My shower handle broke at 7:15 in the morning and wouldn't shut off (my house water shutoff also wasn't working). I called Stine-Nichols in a panic wondering if I'd be able to make it in to work today.
Not only did they respond and follow-up immediately, they had a plumber at my house within 30 minutes. He was friendly, efficient, and thorough with his work.
I absolutely recommend Stine-Nichols for anyone with a plumbing emergency - not only will they respond and repair quickly, but their rates are VERY reasonable and fair, and their employees are friendly and helpful as they could be!

Would like to thank Anthony Crownover and his crew for an excellent plumbing repair on our main waterline. I've had the opportunity to work with this company at my resident and businesses for mainline snakes and small and large plumbing jobs and have been satisfied every time.
Thanks Anthony for being prompt, fair, and easy to work with.
Call you next time.

Quick service. I had old galvanized pipes under my mobile home that had frozen and burst in several places. Plumber fixed me right up quick. Once he saw my emergency he set aside other work and ran for parts. He was prompt and fair priced. I will keep his number for future reference and recommend his service.

Great father and son business; they were able to help us the same day we called. Alex called 30 minutes before coming to the house allowing me to plan my day. He was very polite and professional.

We had a sewage line back up at 7AM - they called me at 7:58 AM (they open at 8AM) and had guys here about 9. Super friendly and professional. Very attentive to the fact that we could not use any water in our house so they made us a priority. I will highly recommend to anyone. Awesome.

Terrible company, not only did they overcharge me and abandon the original price quotes, they left my home tracked with filth and I am now missing some personal belongings. Do not let these thieves into your home!
Update: In response to the owner asking me to remove my post. I live in missouri, work in Overland Park. I was unfortunate enough to use your company on 7/09/17 and strongly advise anyone to stay away!!!

I was contacted by Mac Wilson Plumbing, after I posted my need for a water heater replacement. Donna; who was pleasure to work with, listened to me, and got me in touch Zach. We talked about what was going on with my existing water heater and determined that it was past its prime. Donna had told me that they installed Ruud Professional model heaters... not the type that is sold at the big box stores. I decided to go ahead, and was amazed when I was told that they could install it the very next day. Two plumbers showed up and finished the job in just a few hours. They were very conscientious and neat. Zach and everyone in this company are great to work with, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a plumber... Very honest and customer oriented. Pricing was good too, Zach told me that most companies charge extra for the expansion tank; which code requires, but he includes it in the price.

We have used these guys for various plumbing and drain work for several years and we are very pleased. We've always been well informed before they start the work, its always been a fair price and their guys are clean, polite and professional. We have come to trust them enough to have them out to install an entire septic system leading out form an existing building on our property so we could build offices and a small apartment for guests. Tons of work, great restoration of our property after they installed all of the new lines, fixtures and septic system. Everything is working great. We are very pleased with their services time and again and happy to recommend this company to family and friends.

Short Version: I encourage you to do a little more research and think twice before choosing True Blue. One suggestion is to use someone like Anthony Plumbing who will cost more but at least you can take comfort in knowing it's done right, by highly qualified installers, and they provide 24/7 support. Most importantly, you'll know their owner won't say, tell her it's not that cold out tonight so they'll be fine. What it meant we were without heat or hot water for 18 hours because ATMOS Energy said the gas leak from their installation was so bad they had to shut off gas to the house.
Long Version: While doing your due diligence researching companies before making a costly decision, you'll do like I did and read as many reviews as you can. Unfortunately, you'll find examples of unhappy customers everywhere and consider True Blue's overall rating high enough so you'll think it will be fine. You likely save a little money with them, but you could also end up in the situation we're now in after a new tankless hot water heater installation.
After the installation, the True Blue plumber told my wife there might be a little condensation but nothing significant. However, as soon as the first person took a shower, there was a significant flow of water which was pooling back into our wall. The installer installed the drainpipe as a single PVC pipe straight down next to the wall instead of taking it to the floor drain. Of course, the result was water backing up into the framing of the wall. At that point, we asked for someone more qualified to come out and take a look at his work, and take the drain tube to the floor drain.
At that point it obviously wasn't a big deal and we thought we had peace of mind because they sent out their master plumber to inspect the work.
However, 9 days later we now have strong smell in our basement, and Atmos quickly found what they called, a significant gas leak from where True Blue rerouted our gas line. Unfortunately, the leak was too significant, and they had to shut it off for the entire house. All of this is exacerbated by the fact it's a Saturday and True Blue doesn't provide 24/7 support. Because this is such a significant issue, the owner is called and I've already provided his response. Bottom line, no one's perfect, mistakes happen, and stuff breaks but for me it's always about how someone responds in those situation which defines who they are as a company.

This is the second time we've used these guys and they're amazing. They installed a new furnace for us on Christmas eve last year, and then fixed a drain problem for us today. We had another company come out yesterday 4eco services and they were unable to fix the drain after 1.5hrs. R-Mech arrived 30mins early and had the drain fixed in 30mins. I would def recommend these guys, they're professional and their prices are fair, Thank you R-Mech for helping us, your technicians are courteous and good at their jobs. Thanks again

This company was sent to our house from our warranty company 1st American home warranty to CYR air conditioner suddenly stopped cooling the guy from mechanically inclined was here for about an hour taking pictures wandering around said that he didn't know what was wrong he went downstairs where our AC unit was came back upstairs went outside he said that he thinks that the drain hose on R AC needs to be changed and moved so the filters come out easier so he d $695 to move that, then he decided to give me a quote for$225 to come out next week and clean the outside unit. When I reported to the home warranty that I think he left these wires exposed with a couple of wire nuts he told the company that our air conditioner was not salvageable and that it could was not part of the warranty claim that it had not been upkept. This is the same claim that he has made about several different clients of warranty companies if he can't get you to add another $1000 on to the claim then he claims your unit is no good if you look at his reviews you will find out that he says the same thing about everyone. Now the warranty company is denying my claim and I have to get an outside AC contractor to come and dispute what he is saying. This company is no good avoid them at all cost.

Pat's called back right away, and sent someone our within 2 hours. They emailed a profile of the tech that was coming to our house (very nice!).
The tech was great, helpful & knowledgeable.
We were lucky today & only needed pilot light reset. But signed up for a service plan as they also take care of hearing & air conditioning.

Jo and Eric did not return my call. Strange tech mentioned no promotion. Also funny that promotion ends 2 days before my estimate appointment. No CO in house. All a big scam?

Horrible experience, tried to overcharge, lied and said I had a collapsed line when in reality they had a snake that was commercial size and couldn't make the bend going out. Then proceeded to charge me for not fixing the line, and tried to charge more for a camera inspection that I didn't need, and cancelled. Gave them some money just to leave my property and hopefully not steal my hubcaps. Hired a local company who came out and charged a fraction of what Roto wanted and actually did a great job in 45 minutes, shorter than the time Roto stood there screwing around with the wrong equipment getting nothing done. I will never call them ever again for anything, and sorry that my wife called them in the first place.

The business is posted twice with slightly different names, but it's still the same crooked business.
Jay no longer works the field, he only handles the business side, leaving his less than reputable wife, and her mentally challenged son to destroy anything left of the reputation that Jays pluming had.
I hired them to replace my main water line, they were running average of all the bids. They guaranteed that I would be satisfied with their service and were very professional.... That's a lie!!!
One of the crew propped open the truck door and urinated in my driveway! I have a 15 year old girl that lives across the street and several girls behind us! Let alone, it was in my driveway!!!
Their best employee was bidding out work on my house, for off the clock extra work. Their manager, Jays step son, threw his trash out in my yard, and when I said something his response was it'll get buried when we fill the hole! Not the point!
They filled the gap where the new line comes into the house with window caulking instead of seam sealer or plumbers putty, they didn't reconnect my ground rod to my electrical panel and left me with deplorable excavating! My meter well is 6-8 inches below grade and I had a super high hump in my yard because they didn't finish!
Then Jays wife came to my house and demanded to be paid! Hey finish the job first! Let alone they broke the law and didn't seed the raw dirt that law required!
Stay away from them!
This is a terrible company
They go through employees like drill bits because they pay them or they short them. An employee can put a lien on your house to collect payment.
