I found Prodigy Plumbing on Yelp. The person on the phone was very nice and helpful. He was able to get someone out to us in less than two hours. The technician was friendly, wore shoe covers in the house and most importantly fixed our issue. The price was reasonable and their service was very quick and convenient. I will definitely use them in the future.

MC Construction did a great job of replacing my old roof with a new energy efficient plywood & tile.  They added a few more vents and also replaced some weathered fascia boards. I want to thank Josh K. for being flexible & working with me to stay in my budget!  I would hire them again!  Possible new bathrooms in the future!

MVP sent Erik Tejada out to look at my garbage disposal which was backed up. He was able to fix it and give recommendations for future improvements . MVP was really responsive. They responded to my online request in minutes and then Erik was at my house like 2 hours later.
He was also able to fix a clog in my bathroom tub and troubleshoot an issue with my toilet which I'll be having my landlord fixes. Erik and MVP are my new go to for my future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend them to others.

We've used Service Champions twice since we moved in, first they replaced our furnace that was leaking CO into the house. Then yesterday I had them come out to fix our DOA air conditioner. Their dispatcher called my cell to let me know the guy would be out in about an hour, which is exactly when he showed up. Kevin diagnosed and fixed the problem, and got the house cool in about an hour. He was thorough in that he checked the inlet and outlet temps at our various vents, he looked up in the attic (on a hut July day, by the way!) to assess our ductwork, and gave us some good suggestions. It wouldn't have been unreasonable for him to have to order the part we needed, but I was delighted he had one in his truck so we could get the a/c running again quickly. Based on their clear communication, quick repair with no oversell, and reasonable price, I give them 5 stars and recommend them to anyone looking to tune up or update their HVAC systems.

These guys are great. They came on a Sunday after 9 pm. We needed our mainline cleared due to tree roots.

Sean arrived promptly within an hour of me calling. He checked all around the house and found that we had to go on the roof, and use the vent. He called his guy Lewis who came and helped him snake the line.

Sean even cleaned out a flooded wash room for me.

I reached out on Yelp for an emergency plumber on a Sunday afternoon and received an immediate and professional response from Bob at A A Services Plumbing.   Upon arrival Bob was courteous and explained what needed to be done to resolve my immediate issue and provided suggestions and pricing to help with another issue discovered.  I will definitely keep Bob in mind for future plumbing needs and highly recommend his assistance today.

Mike was awesome. He showed up day after Xmas to find a leak in the wall. He was magic! Found the problem really fast with very little mess and then fixed a pinhole leak. He even replaced a couple of plumbing parts in a bathroom for us. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

Responded quickly, needed a bathroom sink faucet replaced.  I started the project, but realized it was beyond my abilities.  Matt showed up the next day and replaced the faucet and did a little extra work to update the plumbing under the sink.  Reasonable, quick, clean and courteous.  I would recommend him to anyone.

Very Swift response time, had my issues solved and fixed in a short amount of time.  Reasonably priced as well, would use them in the future.

My husband and I are first time home buyers and we chose a house that needed remodeling. We were very nervous about the process as we have heard all the horror stories on contractor jobs gone wrong.We also had items on our to-do list there were causing us some anxiety and we wanted to make sure it was done right.

We did our homework, had quite a few contractors bid our jobs, and in the end, we are so thankful we chose Dave to handle this experience. He is very knowledgable and did a very good job in explaining the work that needed to be done. We felt that he treated our home as if he were doing the work on his own home, and he was very particular in making sure it was done right!

As first time home buyers, we are obviously very cost conscious and Dave was very respectful of that. He always gave us options that would help us stick to our budget, but we never felt like we were getting skimped on quality. We are very happy with the outcome and we will be using Dave for our future contracting needs. We feel like he knows our house so well now, we wouldn't trust anyone else with the job!

We are having and have completed a few projects ranging from tankless water heater to faucet changes and a modern water filtration reverse osmosis system. Had a little late Sunday afternoon kitchen sink stoppage.  Within an hour our problem was being solved.  Juan was friendly, responsive, answered all our questions, got it done.  Very reasonable price too for a Sunday 5pm (seemed like a normal price to us!).  I recommend you use SoCal Plumbing and ask for Juan. We will be doing that ourselves.  P.S.  They didn't even ask me to do a Yelp review!

We had a problem with a shower valve that wouldn't turn off so had to turn off the water to the whole house. Turns out my DYI fix of a small drip a few months ago only delayed the problems. I sent C & C a text message and got a quick reply. They were able to send a young man,Irish, the same day who was very professional and thorough. Problem solved!

Our downstairs bathroom started to get mold on the ceiling. To make a long story short, the upstairs bathroom shower pan was leaking.

After the mold remediation team had finished and seemed to narrow down the problem to either a drain issue or shower pan issue for the upstairs bathroom, my wife and I contacted approximately 10 general contractors and shower installation companies using various sources (including Yelp, Google Reviews, word of mouth recommendations, internet searches, etc) to provide their recommendations/proposals for our shower and bathroom.

During the processing of obtaining contractor quotes, we were not comfortable with most of the contractors for various reasons including high sales pitch tactics, lack of detailed explanation relating to waterproofing techniques that will be used during construction, extremely high prices, etc. We eventually narrowed down the list of contractors to two (including Ixtapa). However, after further comparison of both companies, we ended up choosing Ixtapa partially due to their quote being more inclusive of everything we wanted done (drywall repair, painting, among other items), their flexibility in recommendations that considered our budget, and most importantly, Ixtapa's clear explanation of their waterproofing techniques in which the utmost care would be taken during their multilayered waterproofing method to minimize any chances of the new tile shower leaking in the future. Other companies were vague in mentioning only hot mopping as an explanation. We just felt Ixtapa was the complete package when considering fair price, knowledge, customer reviews showing high quality craftsmanship, communication, etc. Alex was a very good communicator and listener when we shared our concerns/ideas. Alex was excellent at balancing our concerns/ideas with his expert advice/recommendations (this skill set Ixtapa apart from the rest of the other construction companies we talked to).

Jay, Alex's business partner, is the construction guru. Jay is very personable and has high expectations of quality that meet not only his high expectations, but also the customer's. Although Ixtapa has some workers in addition to Jay, Jay does the detailed design, measurements, and most of the detailed construction.

I liked how Alex made clear what materials Ixtapa provides (rough materials, etc) and explains in detail what materials the customer provides (tile, fixtures, etc). Alex even provided us a shopping list of items to purchase, quantities of each item, etc. This made it easier for us. When it came to choosing a new vanity, Alex recommended a few places for us to look at vanity options. We settled on a place and we were able to purchase the vanity with Ixtapa's contractor's discount to save some money. When I was stressed about some issues with vanity options while my wife was out of town on business, Alex took time out of his busy schedule to meet me at the store to help me through my struggles. With the assistance of my wife by phone, and Alex's help, we were able to make a decision that worked out very well (thank you Alex!).

Ixtapa showed flexibility when we requested changes to the scope of work related to the niche, additional recessed lights, installing the additional exhaust fans in our other bathrooms, among some other changes. Ixtapa was able to provide a custom glass shower per our requested specifications of partially obscured (middle 50% obscured, the top 25% and bottom 25% clear glass).

Jay and his crew did excellent work. As other reviewers have stated, Jay is a master craftsman. Jay and his Ixtapa crew handled everything from the demo, plumbing (installation of new shower drain with weep holes, etc), electrical (exhaust fan, led lights, gfci, etc), shower framing, multilayered waterproofing of shower, tile installation/grouting (shower, bathroom floor), installation of vanity & recessed medicine cabinet/mirror, installation of fixtures, drywall/trim/texture/paint, etc. The only items/services subcontracted out by Ixtapa to different companies were the hot mopping of shower pan and the manufacturing/installation of the custom glass shower door.

A couple of small/minor issues after completion of the bathroom project were taken care of by Ixtapa. The end result is fabulous!

We very much look forward to working with Ixtapa in the future with another project or potentially more than one project.

Chris was awesome. We had a toilet  and shower leak and I thought it was a lot worse than he estimated. He was correct after further inspection, and completed the job in a timely manner. He could easily have played on my initial estimate and charged me an arm and a leg, but he gave an honest assessment. He didn't leave a mess and replaced all the fixtures on the toilet and shower, that he felt would make it last. My previous plumber who was honest and fair had just retired and I was trying find a new one for all my plumbing needs. Chris is now the one on my speed dial for any plumbing needs.

My drain to the utility sink was backed up and needed a plumber ASAP.  Daniel responded to my yelp request with a reasonable quote.  He's very professional, honest, and courteous.  I'll be sure to keep JETTERS'N' DRAIN into my contact.  Thanks for your great work Daniel!
