Best Water Heater Leak Repair in Irvine CA

I've hired Prodigy plumbing twice and both times I've had great experiences. Shane was our tech and he is friendly, professional and fast! I highly recommend Prodigy Plumbing.

MC Construction did a great job of replacing my old roof with a new energy efficient plywood & tile.  They added a few more vents and also replaced some weathered fascia boards. I want to thank Josh K. for being flexible & working with me to stay in my budget!  I would hire them again!  Possible new bathrooms in the future!

MVP sent Erik Tejada out to look at my garbage disposal which was backed up. He was able to fix it and give recommendations for future improvements . MVP was really responsive. They responded to my online request in minutes and then Erik was at my house like 2 hours later.
He was also able to fix a clog in my bathroom tub and troubleshoot an issue with my toilet which I'll be having my landlord fixes. Erik and MVP are my new go to for my future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend them to others.

I am a repeating customer. Jason has done an excellent job of detecting the water leak from my second floor and fixed it. The second time, he helped to replace my old water heater. Jason is competent and friendly. I have a peace of mind because I know he can do a good job and does it properly.

I've used Bob twice now.  The second time was to install new toilets I had delivered to my house.  I trusted Bob to do the installation instead of the contractor provided by the home improvement store where I purchased the toilets.  Bob showed up on time and did a great job.

Bob is hands down my best find on Yelp.  I recently requested quotes for what turned out to be a drain leak behind the drywall in my garage (I thought it was a concrete slab leak).  Bob came by for a free estimate, assessed the situation, and told me in very clear terms what the problem was.  Bob's estimate was extremely fair (I had received another estimate before Bob).

Bob did the job on time and for the price he quoted.  

The great thing about Bob is that he's a licensed plumber and general contractor so he's super knowledgeable and will give you his expert assessment from these two perspectives.  Because he is a general contractor, I had him look at other possible repairs around the house.  Stuff that I thought might be important to fix he recommended to leave alone.

In short, I really appreciated Bob's honesty, his straightforward assessment regarding repairs, and his very fair pricing.  I highly recommend Bob and would give him more than 5 stars if I could.

Mike came over within a few hours to look at our shower, which had recently lost water pressure. He was very cautious with it, knowing it was our only shower and we couldn't be without it for too long. He explained as he went, tired a few things and got it working without having to replace any parts. He was very quick and the price was right. You could tell he wasn't going to try to upsell us or do crappy work. We will definitely call him next time we need a plumber we can trust!

Matt always does a great job at a fair price. Very clean and wore a mask. Always explains things well. I'd definitely recommend him.

Dwight has worked on the plumbing for our home on numerous occasions regardless of where he is employed.  He is knowledgeable in the field and could always answer questions we had. He is thorough and does a good job every time we called for service. Dwight is reliable and shows up on time for the job. We would continue to use his service when needed.

They fixed my backed up drain and were very friendly and punctual. Price was an issue because what they thought would be a 2 man job turned out to be a 1 man job. I was given a discount for that. I do recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

Great! Phil is a really professional and easy to talk to guy! His service was perfect. We had a broken hot water heater. We got his name from a satisfied neighbor and he responded quickly, solved a technical issue with our warranty, and was able to source, pick up and install said water heater on the same day. Pretty amazing! While he was here we had him do a few other small things we had neglected. Great guy, great service, fair price. We highly recommend!

Had a tenant call with an emergency water leak in front of the house that caused the water main to be shut down for a few hours. Tenant tried to repair and no luck. Once I received the call it was dark and getting late. I called SoCal Plumbing. Carlos answered the phone and without hesitation agreed to handle the job. Within minutes of making the call Carlos was on scene. Within the hour he had replaced and reconnected all the plumbing that caused the leaking. Carlos was professional, understanding, knowledgeable and reasonable. Carlos, I appreciate the attention to detail and will definitely call you on the next plumbing job. Kind of a mixed bag with these guys.  The work I scheduled for them to do was done OK.  The problem was that there was some collateral damage.  While replacing the angle stops under a sink, they whacked the plastic drain pipes enough that they were leaking a small amount of water.  Since this is within my skill level, I just fixed it myself.  When they put on the new flex hose to the toilet, they rotated the fill valve so that the flapper got hung up.  Another thing that I was able to fix myself.  It was just easier to deal with this stuff myself than having to set-up another appointment (which is another story that I won't bother to go into).

Well this a first for me I had a broken shower head where the flange broke. I did not want to risk getting the broken flange out myself so I decided to call Chris to come out to fix. I picked him from the good yelp reviews. I was first impressed when he answered right away and said he could come out between 3 and 4 I said that would be fine. I texted my address and around 2:30 he texted me and said he was running behind and could he make it for 5:30, I said no problem. He arrived around 5:20 and had the shower head fixed in 5 minutes which I hoped it would take but told him I did not want to risk myself in case I stripped the threading he understood that sometimes a layman can make it worst by trying to fix it themselves. I laughed and said okay how much do I owe you he said nothing I was late and it was only a 5 minute job. I was kinda of shocked you just don't see that very often so by him doing that kind jester I will be looking for him for future plumbing problems and my father and father-in-law have already taken down his number for the future. House was flooding. Daniel came by after hours to  check out the issue. Provided me with a temporary fix to able to use the bathroom for the night. Next day, he installed a 2-way clean out valve since my house didn't have an outside main valve. He was very informative and professional through the whole process. Thanks Daniel!

Earl and his son Dalton are the best. He came over late at night to check on a slab leak in our house. Earl is a pro who knows what he is doing. We ultimately needed a re-pipe and he and his team replaced it all in one day! The next day they came out and fixed the drywall and stucco. Would not hesitate to reach out if you need any work

I'm so glad I found my go-to plumber.  Due to a foot injury, Giovanni had to take a short break from work to heal. So I decided to wait two long months to have him fix my instant hot water faucet, because I couldn't trust any of the other plumbers I reached out to that required a minimum visitation fee without providing any kind of range on what the job *might* cost.  

So for two agonizing months, I had to boil my own water the old fashioned way on the stove top.  I know.  *gasp*  

Let me tell you, it was 10000% worth the wait.

Giovanni is meticulous, trustworthy, friendly, and affordable, and his wife Victoria is very responsive and communicative.  A+++++.

Our garbage disposal has been having backup and drainage issues for a couple of months now. Cameron came out and helped fixed the problem! He's super knowledgeable, friendly, and professional! He explained everything and talked to us step by step about what was causing the problem and what he was doing to fix it! Will definitely be recommending Pristine Plumbing, especially Cameron, to help fix any plumbing problems!

Be careful dealing with these guys.   I hired them to fix a pinhole leak.   The technician was really cool and we agreed on the scope of repairs.   I'm a business owner myself and I know the value of honesty and good customer service.   After we found the problem under the house and identified the problem, the job was quoted @ $350 to replace a section of bad pipe and a t that was starting to leak.    Mind you that I asked the tech to look at the whole system and address other issues that he felt would be a problem in the future.   After the job was done, I asked what the scope of work performed was and found out that the leaking t fitting was not addressed.   He made some phone calls back and forth with his manager Francisco and I was told that it wasn't a part of the contract.   I'm not the type of guy that half asses anything I do and expects the same from who I hire.   I have them every chance to make it right but the manager Francisco insisted that he would stand his ground and not honor the original agreement.   It's sad to see nowadays that a service company like this is after that overall dollar in a dishonest way rather than making lifelong customers thru service.   My advice is to stay away from these guys.
