Seriously, Matt went the extra mile to diagnose my plumbing problem (backed up sewer which was affecting my bathroom) and made every attempt to solve this issue within a very limited budget. I appreciate his professionalism while thinking outside the box to solve the issue with creativity and good, old-fashioned elbow grease. Every time we were hit with a block (pun intended), Matt continued to tackle the issue until he was successful. Very much appreciated!

If all the plumbers at Prodigy are like this, no wonder why they have so many good reviews. Kudos to an honest, well run company!

MC Construction did a great job of replacing my old roof with a new energy efficient plywood & tile.  They added a few more vents and also replaced some weathered fascia boards. I want to thank Josh K. for being flexible & working with me to stay in my budget!  I would hire them again!  Possible new bathrooms in the future!

MVP sent Erik Tejada out to look at my garbage disposal which was backed up. He was able to fix it and give recommendations for future improvements . MVP was really responsive. They responded to my online request in minutes and then Erik was at my house like 2 hours later.
He was also able to fix a clog in my bathroom tub and troubleshoot an issue with my toilet which I'll be having my landlord fixes. Erik and MVP are my new go to for my future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend them to others.

As a newer homeowner, I scheduled a maintenance service for an older air conditioning system at a discounted price. I was very pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness of the service and information provided. Andy W. was not only knowledgeable and professional but went above and beyond in providing the agreed upon service as well as taking time to explain the current condition of my system, what I could expect from it in the near future and what my likely options were to deal with it in both the short and long term. I not only feel like I got a good deal on the maintenance service provided but an education on my air conditioning system and options for it going forward. The monthly service contract that includes both a heating and A/C system annual cleaning plus a discount on any further service seems like a good deal so I think we will go forward with that as well.

My mothers house was having plumbing problems and needed several things fixed or replaced.  I called Courtesy Plumbing  based on all the positive reviews and great ratings for an appointment.  My appointment was between 12-4pm and Tom showed up around 1:30pm.  One of the problems was replacing the broken shower in the bathtub which for some reason had an invasion of nasty ant.  I asked Tom if I could shoot some insecticide when he was almost done and he let me know when it was alright to start spraying.  As I was busy spraying, Tom was installing the new kitchen faucet with new shutoff valves.  When he was done with the kitchen, he returned to the bathtub and finshed assembling the shower handles.

The third task Tom did was to clear the washer drain.  He did tell me that there was a lot of grease buildup so I might have to next time have a high pressure water jet done on the drain.

All the problems were corrected and all I can say is thank goodness I found Courtesy Plumbing on Yelp!!!...  I will definitely be calling them for future plumbing problems.

Prompt, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable! He showed up when he said he would, explained every step of the process, took feedback, and gave us options along the way. If you want someone who knows their stuff you'll get it here!

Last week I had another local company come out to fix a leak.  Instead of sending a plumber, they sent an inspector who wasted an hour of my time telling me the thousands of $$ of work they could do for me!  WHA????  I asked for a price to fix my leak and he said $900.00!!  I showed him the door and searched Yelp (which I should have done first)!
Found Capistrano Plumbing with all high ratings...Lisa is very nice and Mike was great.
He fixed my leak in under an hour, and replaced all the old 1970's plumbing under my sink.  May I add it was all for UNDER 22% of the first bid!! I highly recommend them!

Matt was able to come within a few hours and help us with a plumbing problem. Courteous, respectful, and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

A+ for finding the problem and completing the work;
C- for timeliness;
D for estimating (50% increase in the bid price when they got to the job site);
A for friendliness of the estimator but
F for the friendliness of the crew;
F for communication; and
D for cleaning up after themselves.
Bottom line: if you are not in a hurry, do not care about them showing up on time or finishing within the time frame they estimated, do not care if the price is way higher than you were told, do not care if the workers communicate with you, and do not mind cleaning up after them, these guys will do what they say and do it well. For everyone else, keep looking.

Our garbage disposal leaking and they were able come in the next day to fix it. The job was done quickly and professionally. I would recommend them to anybody in need of their services.

Dave and his team at Smart and Handy were amazing when I needed to do a full remodel of a condo for my elderly mother.   When I called a handful of companies  for an estimate, Dave was the only one who called me back within a day.  

Dave gave great options to do the remodel with my limited budget.   He also has a great sense of design and made recommendations and gave feedback on materials and colors.   An added bonus was that he and his team are experts in remodeling homes for the elderly.   I really appreciated the advice he gave on grab bars, shower seat, door knobs, door width, and other details.    My mom feels so comfortable and safe with the features that were incorporated into the design.

Dave communicated well with me every step of the way. He and his team did a great job and always left the place clean.   He also followed up a few times after the remodel was done to make sure that everything was satisfactory.   I give Smart and Handy 5 stars and would not hesitate to use them again for future remodels.

I have been having this really bad rotten egg smell when I turned on the hot water for a period of time and found out I needed to replace my copper anode on the water heater.  I contacted FV Plumbing on Yelp and Frank responded super fast along with a great quote! We scheduled a date and time the same day and he arrived on schedule with his team.  Very polite and professional,  got the job done relatively quickly and even answered all my questions.  Highly recommend FV Plumbing & Rooter!!! I will be going to them for all my plumbing needs moving forward!

Fernando is brilliant!!! Great attitude, warm personality, professional knowledge of systems, and incredibly polite to the home he is working on. We are having and have completed a few projects ranging from tankless water heater to faucet changes and a modern water filtration reverse osmosis system. He's wonderful, and a treasure to our community!

Phillip is quick in response to a issue that occurred while on a job site. He found the issue to be something clogging a toilet from the customers cleaning products. We referred him to our house as well and now refer him to anyone looking for a plumber. Thank you Phillip

This is the 2nd time using this company to install new pipes on the other half under my home. The first time was 4 years ago when my main bathroom stopped up and needed to replace the broken pipes leaking sewage and installing a better clean out to the front of the house. I called Carlos, the owner, on 6/6/22 after hours because sewage was pouring out of both toilets and filling up the tub when I was doing a load of laundry. He came and snaked through that clean out he had installed 4 years ago so that I can have a bathroom to use until his crew could get to replace the pipes on 6/8. I was so glad to have that toilet and shower until then! They had a big job already scheduled on 6/7, that's why he couldn't come that day. His guys, Oscar and Juan are so nice and informative. They were here for 1 1/2 days until the job was finished. They sent pictures of the pipes underneath from before and after. They cleaned up any messes made during the fix as well. I would never use a company again if I had any little bad feelings or any negative inclinations. So, for me to use SoCal Plumbing to do another huge job on my property for a second time says it in caps that Carlos and his crew are AWESOME!! They're professional with making you feel like they actually care! Now, plumbing isn't cheap anywhere. But, if you want it done right, with informative, caring professionalism, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!! After hours too in an emergency!! There's nothing more stressful than to not have a working toilet..If you know what I mean! Carlos answers after hours if you run into that problem like I have. The last time was around Christmas, finishing Christmas Eve, and he was right there to save the plumbing day then!! (I forgot to do my Yelp review then because of the holidays..sorry!) He details the invoices so you know exactly what was done, and what parts used. I will use SoCal Plumbing for any services they provide in the future because I trust them. Trust is earned in my book. If you're in a crappy mess, literally in my case this last time, call them. The reviews should tell you all you need to know. That's how I contacted them 4 years ago.

Justin is honest, kind, and very hardworking. He does not hesitate to come over if there is an emergency. He does excellent work in a timely manner. He always cleans up and takes extra precaution and care with your home. I highly recommend Justin with any plumbing needs!  Thank you!

Two thumbs up to C & C Plumbing's Cameron!! Very friendly guy, and amazing services!! My tankless hot water heater decided to take a break on a Saturday while I needed it the most after I worked out at the gym for 2 hours. I called around and tried to find someone to come out to fix the hot water heater for me. But because it was on a Saturday, it was hard to get hold of people. One guy (not related to C & C Plumbing) told me over the phone that he would charge me $350 just to show up on Saturday. Luckily I was able to get hold of Cameron from the C & C Plumbing. Cameron came over, fixed the heater right away, and also explained to me what to watch for in the future if I run into problems with the tankless heater again. Cameron was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.  I would highly recommend Cameron to all my friends!!!

We were very happy with the project Ixtapa Construction completed at our home.  After interviewing and getting quotes from several general contractors, they provided a comprehensive detailed quote for the work at a fair price.  What sealed the deal for us in selecting them was meeting Jay and Alex, the principals of the company, and the input they provided for our project.  They provided many great ideas we had not considered and we are very happy with the results.

They were meticulous and all the workers on our project were professional and courteous. The scope of work included essentially a full interior remodel including converting a den into a bedroom and also painting/some repairs of the exterior.  There were no surprises in regards to costs at the end of the project and costs associated with changes as work progressed were clearly communicated to us.

We will definitely contact Ixtapa Construction for any future projects!

My cousins garbage disposal (Brand: Waste King) in the kitchen has been leaking since she bought it and has given her problems from day one.
Besides that the trap that she had on it was not working correctly it was like an accordion and also causing problems with the dishwasher. Well the garbage disposal malfunctioned yesterday completely and thankfully she had a 2 year warranty on it and we were able to get her a new one but a different brand. Then the pipe coming out of the wall broke at the threads, old galvanized pipe in a old house. We thought she would have to replace the whole pipe and we're dreading how much that was going to cost and 3 days before Thanksgiving and we needed the sink,dishwasher and garbage disposal to be working.
I found Chris on Yelp today and called him and explained the problem and sent him some pictures. He said no problem there was a solution without having to replace the entire pipe if the pipe was not completely shot. He was very accommodating and said he could be at her house later this afternoon. Sure enough he came as promised and on time and affordable. He got the job done in a timely manner and installed the new garbage disposal for us also.  YAY!!!Thanks to Chris and his assistant for coming to the rescue and  for doing such a great job and being so kind and helpful.
I would Definitely call him again and recommend him to anyone.

So Waste King Garbage Disposals in my opinion are a waste of money, we ended up getting a Moen instead. I've included some before and after pics
