Best Home Remodeling in Honolulu HI

We pay a handy sum to Ben have our bench done but only after 3 months, it started to deteriorate. We tried to contact him multiple times to see what can be done but got no response. BTW, he even posted photos of our bench on Yelp without our knowledge or consent. The bench show further sign of wear and damage at 6 months. It is now almost 12 months later and it has deteriorated further. We now have to pay additional fee to hire someone to repair this. We again tried to contact Ben to see if what can be done and again, no response.  Not recommend.

GP&E Consultants is a great company and Sid is so personable and professional. I had Sid's company re-do my kitchen on an extremely tight timeline and he and his company did high quality work on time and on budget.

The project included a complete gut of the existing kitchen, installation of new cabinets, countertops, back splashes, water heater, painting and flooring ... all in 16 calendar days.

I couldn't ask for more and was extremely pleased with their work. I would recommend his company to anyone that wants quality work done quickly and at a reasonable price.

So happy to meet these guys as they're awesome people, but Sonny is also a real professional. The work he did for my home was clean, quick, and better than expected. Highly recommended, thanks for the great work

My husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen during this pandemic to keep ourselves busy and to update our 17 year old kitchen.  I contacted Rudy and he and his team did a fantastic job! Rudy replaced all my countertops to Quartz countertops, installed a new sink and faucet and also installed my new range and microwave (where he routed the air vent outside to the patio).  The new island countertop is a foot longer and also extends 6 inches wider so he had to custom build a support base which added more support to hold up the new HEAVY island top! These photos show the before and after look.  As you can see, Rudy and his team did an AWESOME JOB!!  We plan to do other home rennovation projects in the near future and will definitely call 'Rudy and Design back again!  Rudy is so knowledgable and has over 30 years of experience! He not only can do plumbing work but is also a very skilled carpenter as well! He does excellent work and is very thorough. We are extremely happy with what he has done for us! Highly recommend!!!

First job was complete, thorough but on the way to being expensive, yet I do side with that you get what you pay for..  

Second job I thought was also expensive, and the results were not so hot.  We had three items to repair and one was initially done incorrectly and required immediate attention, and the other needs a do-over.  

One was a shower valve remove/replace, and the dispatched plumber forgot to install an O-ring so it leaked quite a bit when he had water pressure restored.  The second issue was having a leaking garbage disposal removed, and just two days later we have water leaking from the new drain piping.  Sure, it visually looked OK, but it is dripping quite a bit and now I will have to take time off from work again for a do-over.  They replaced perfectly good metal drain piping with (what to me is) cheap plastic drain piping and fittings.  

Update:  9/18/2013:  Drain piping setup was disassembled and repaired.  Hopefully this is the end of it.

Update: 10/19/2013:  I guess not.  Their repair of their poor repair job still didn't resolve the problem.  It STILL leaks!  I've had to reduce their rating down to one star.

Update: 12/1/2013:  The repair was redone a few weeks ago, and it appears to be fixed--FINALLY!.

Update 4/3/2014:  The repair still seems solid.

SUMMARY:
The first repair was a four (4) star repair.  This second was a zero (0) star repair because we still have water leaking from the piping that has now been repaired twice 6 days apart, and now it has to be repaired again.  So I've had to lower their rating to one (1) star.  This is only my opinion.  I think it really matters who you get from a larger service company.

4/3/2014:  Summary update:  revised to two (2) stars since the redo of the redo of the initial repair appears to be holding up well.

Showed up on time and got right to work; Jovan was very knowledgeable and clearly explained all the work they were doing...did great work and would highly recommend, will be using them again in the future!

I had a condo that needed remodeling across a broad spectrum of jobs (kitchen, bedroom floors, bathroom vanity, new lights, etc) and decided to collect bids from a few contractors. In performing this exercise, Lin and his team stood out from the pack. From their friendly demeanor, prompt communication, and helpful suggestions, it was clear that they were the right choice.

Only a few days after signing the project proposal, Lin had all of the material ready and began working on the job. In less than one week (original estimate was 2-3 weeks!), Lin and his crew were able to finish everything. They operated with speed, accuracy, and a fine attention to detail.

If you're looking for a contractor that can discuss options, help you make the right decisions, and execute quickly, all while requiring little to no oversight,  Lin Construction is the only way to go.

I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

Emerson's integrity and professionalism exceeded my expectations. I am beyond grateful at how accommodating he was for us. It was a last minute job and he arrived the same day that we discussed the issue with our shut off valve in our home, and he did an awesome job. The pride he has behind his work shows, and he is more than fair with his pricing. I am definitely keeping in touch if we need help with anything else!

I would highly recommend Frank and his services to both my family and friends for any job around the house or office. He is knowledgeable, on time, and professional. He even offered suggestions on other ways to fix the problem which actually ended up saving me time and money.  You can definitely see that he has experience. I would suggest quit putting it off, and let Frank do it.

The team was great! They came in quickly and set up to help with water damage due to a water heater leak. They were able to identify the trouble areas and immediately got to work on drying them up to prevent any further damage. Everything was explained  in a way I could understand and answered all of my questions. Super friendly and helpful. They even dealt with the insurance company for me! Less stress for me to handle during an already stressful situation. The leak is fixed and everything is good to go. I would definitely reccomend them and I'll be using them again in the future. Ask for Tim, he was great!

I have a rental property the tenant called saying the shower was leaking. I had this contractor go take a look and told me that the whole shower needed to be ripped out and replaced and that it was going to cost anywhere 3-5K. I did some YouTube research and bought less than $50 worth if supplies from Home Depot. I was able to fix the leak in a hour. Beware.

0 star. Joe did not show up for the estimate. No phone call and no text about his no show. We finally called him after half hours of waiting. He did not explain what was the reason for no show and did not apologize. Very disappointed.

I called Diamond Head Plumbing and spoke to Mariella for a estimate. Joel arrived on time and gave a fair estimate. Would define use them again for our plumbing needs and for future remodeling. Thank you to everyone involved for making it an easy and seamless experience.

This is among the WORST PLUMBING company is KAMAAINA PLUMBING AND HOME RENOVATIONS. Other than that they make very good alibis to justify their high fees as if they did it themselves really good thought it's just simple task.
Called their office for emergency clogged up toilet and the office personnel is so rude and saying they could not attend as soon as possible since plumbers are already all out and promised to call me back in 5 minutes... never called back!!!
I called other good reputation plumbing company among the best and ask help and came right in time as requested.
DO NOT USE KAMAAINA PLUMBING for any plumbing works.
I don't think recommend this company.
