Best Gas Furnace Repair in Greensboro NC
Not the quality service I was expecting for the price they charge. Years ago I got a new water heater installed by this company. While the install technician looked professional there was a lot of amateur mistakes made like messes on the floor, the circuit breaker being left off after he left, and not testing it completely. The way I found the circuit breaker turned off was noticing no hot water for a few days. When I flipped it and finally got hot water it blew a fuse a few hours later.
I called to complain and they sent a technician to check the previous installers work which fixed the problem.
Fast forward to a few years later when my family goes to sell our house. We find out the water heater was improperly installed through a professional inspection. The pressure relief valve was a one foot pipe into a bucket that would have flooded the closet. So we had to pay to drill through our flooring to have a proper area for it to release if there were any problems.
Definitely had a lot of issues doing business with this company I would not recommend.

Last spring our upstairs HVAC stopped cooling and we called our usual HVAC company in Jamestown to check it out. We assumed the freon needed recharging as we'd had a slow leak for a few years and had to recharge a small amount each year. They came out, charged it with freon for a cost of $555.10. Two weeks later, it was out again, and since we were having house guests that weekend, and we had recently met someone with Jessup Services, we called them this time. We knew we were due for a new HVAC soon, but our guests were arriving in 2 days so no time for that. Jessup sent someone out who diagnosed the problem, found the leak, sealed it as a work-around, and charged it with coolant. The technician also told us that there is a much less expensive substitute for freon available that was adaptable for our HVAC system and that there was no need to have used the expensive freon charge! I give Jessup 5 STARS for honesty, dependability, and the effort to do a work-around when we desperately needed it vs. just taking the easy way out and charging us another $550 and telling us we needed a new HVAC (which we already knew would be inevitable soon). Jessup went above and beyond to handle our problem, and 6 months later, their work-around is still working! Thank you Jessup!!

Highly recommend. Had a kitchen sink clog over the weekend. Called dispatch; follow up call promptly returned by service manager who initially gave me a troubleshooting tip to try and save me time and money but unfortunately for me it wasn't enough to do the trick. Called back hours later and again, spoke to same manager who was polite, professional and was willing to dispatch someone later that night once his last job was complete but at that point, I decided it was best to wait until the next day (Sunday) which he said he would put me on first thing. I got a call early Sunday morning from the tech assigned my job letting me know what time he would arrive; again, respectful and professional. He arrived and put booties on over his boots so as to not track anything through my house (unexpected but totally appreciated) and proceeded to diagnose and repair my clog, working cleanly and efficiently, also explaining what he was doing and why. Super pleasant and totally professional. I had done some research to find out what the cost range was for repairs in my area and found them to be within the range and not excessive so...and I had called another plumbing service who claimed to be 24 hours but hadn't contacted me despite multiple attempts so if you are in need of a professional plumber, my experience says go with these guys. Joshua was a terrific plumber.

After a VERY frustrating process with another HVAC company and the home warranty company my fiancé and I use, Phillips Air Care was literally a breath of fresh (& cool ) air.
Scheduling was easy, they answered my call on a Sunday to get them out on Monday morning, they were pleasant and had top notch customer service every step of the way!
Our technician, Victor came out & diagnosed the problem we were having. He explained everything in detail & spent time making sure our HVAC unit was working. Not to mention, he patiently waited and spoke with our home warranty company to ensure we got reimbursed.
This company is really cares about their customers and goes above and beyond! I would definitely recommend them!
Thank you SO MUCH for cooling our home!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I am certain if they didn't have warranty work they would be out of business. They do not follow up on service calls. Tell you they will call back and do not. Show up and do not diagnose the problem. I am forced to deal with their incompetence because of my warranty. RUN and find someone else!!!

After scheduling an appt last week that was cancelled same day, I tried again. Today the technicians showed up for a few electrical issues and when they couldn't quick fix them (they tried for about 5 mins) , they said their manager needed them to install a generator for someone else so they had to leave. When I asked when they could come back he said they were really busy and it could be weeks and suggested I call another company. And then he wanted $111 for the gas/trip fee. WHAT?!?!
I asked to be placed BACK on their schedule and if/when they show back up and fix the problems, I'll happily update this review (and pay them the one time $111 gas/trip fee).

Twice Aurora came out to my house to check my well because our water is orange. After their first visit, no one got back to me with the results of our water test, so I wrote them a bad review. Then I got a call from a manager who apologized and gave me a free one year inspection program where they sent someone out to my house to check things like my roof, electrical, and oh ya, MY WELL.
The second guy they sent told me the water test showed my water was fine. So, both times Aurora sent someone out to tell me why my well water was orange I was told that I just needed to put in a $6500.00 water conditioner.
Well, my Well is not fine. I shouldn't have orange water and I shouldn't have to go through water filters every couple of weeks.
Well, now today I am having a sleeve installed inside my well because the casing is rusty and full of holes AND the pump is full of the orange dirt we have in this state.
So, Aurora, you missed out on about a $5k job!!! Oh but you probably would have charged me twice that! Don't bother calling me again.

Hate to leave a 1 star review, especially now, but this company deserves it for their misleading policy that they guarantee their work.
My old toilet broke, so I went and bought an American Standard brand toilet, sealed new in box, from Lowe's. I had another plumber coming, but they rescheduled to Monday. Sutton was able to schedule me for Friday morning so we wouldn't have to go the whole weekend with a broken toilet.
The tech came Friday on time and was friendly and professional, and he removed the old toilet and installed the new one. He said he tested the new toilet several times, but that we needed to wait 6 hours for the caulk to dry before using. We waited the 6 hours, only to find that the flapper sticks open more often than not. We're able to close it manually, but it means having to open the tank and check this every time.
I called Monday morning requesting them to come back and fix this. I was scheduled and told no charge, but then I got a call back shortly after saying there would be another $49 dispatch charge plus whatever the fix would cost because we supplied the toilet! Gentleman on the phone told me it would've cost $700 if we opted for Sutton to supply the toilet, and that would have been guaranteed under their policy. Meanwhile, I paid them $260 including their dispatch fee to install my $180 toilet including haul away of the old one. So you're openly telling me that you would have charged your customer basically an extra $250 for a toilet with a guarantee attached. I could understand this approach more if it wasn't for the fact I bought this toilet brand new from Lowe's with receipt and all.
It's probably a quick easy fix like adjusting the chain or something to that effect, but beware that this company will not take any responsibility for the possibility they made a mistake unless you pay the high premium for it. I scheduled a different company to come fix the flapper issue and don't see myself running back to Sutton for any future plumbing issues. Sorry to say that because the tech was very nice and probably made a simple mistake. In any case, I don't see how this was tested several times when the flapper sticks open for us more times than not. Also, this policy was not disclosed to us prior to the job being done.
I understand a company has overhead to pay, but this is not the way to go about making your profits.
