Tyrell did a great job promptly fixing our disposal. He was very responsive in his communication and took proper COVID safety precautions. Will definitely use him again for future work!

The one star is for showing up, on a saturday. However with that being said, the tech came didn't really listen to what I had to say, made his own diagnosis for a bathtub backing up into a shower, and said he got it cleared and left. He was there for less than an hour. I paid a non-refundable fee of $125.00 to have him come out if he could fix it or not. Great, I understood that up front, my spouse was in the hospital and I needed to get there. Grand total after the non refundable fee was $508.25.
3 Days later same thing, they said he would come back out on friday. This time he said we had cracked lines in the back yard (standing water) and quoted me 2400.00 for starters. He said he fixed it but the pipe was cracked and that was the real problem even though you couldn't see it. Again my spouse was in the hospital.
I have a friend that knew someone who graciously came found the leak in the pipe (it wasn't cracked), through putting air in the clean out valve under the house. The air raised the grass where the leak was. He dug about a foot or so down and it was the lid from the backyard clean out valve that was leaking and letting soil into the sewer line.
He took a 100' snake, ran it to the city sewer connect and unplugged everything. He then put a new top and extension so we now know where the back yard clean out valve is as well as the one under the house.
I paid him and he didn't charge me at least for doing nothing. I called Advanced, and got Jacob on the phone. He asked for an invoice from the other plumber, and I even did better than that I send him pics, as plenty were taken. He said he would then take care of it. That was a month ago. I have called numerous time.
I called yesterday 11/2/22 and Jacob told the receptionist he would talk to the owner and call me back later that day. Never happened and it has now been 2 months. I gave them plenty of time to make the wrong right and they apparently are not going to take responsibility for charging someone for a mis-diagnosis and not fixing the problem.
For that reason I cannot give them a good report, and I told them that if they didn't make good on this that is what I would do. If they did something that would be better than nothing, but nothing is what they chose.
I wouldn't use them again BECAUSE they don't keep their word, and do not guarantee their work. Jamie

We have a home warranty, and this is the company they contracted to do our refrigerator repair. The gasket surrounding the fridge doors had come detached. Their repair person came out, assessed the problem & ordered a replacement part. The office was courteous and accommodating in scheduling, and the repair technician was efficient and friendly. He even gave me a tip to avoid the problem of the gasket pulling apart.

Assessed my current HVAC system - unit was 20 years old and required 3 to 4 pounds of R22 refrigerant which is very expensive - gave me a proposal for a new 2 ton 14 SEER heat pump for residential - installed in three days at a competitive price - functions great - the team was extremely professional!

I had them come out and give me an estimate to change out four light fixtures add a receptacle in the bathroom and move a light fixture in a box and install. They wanted $5400 to do this. I installed the four light fixtures in an hour and 20 minutes.I'd also purchased the lights prior to their arrival for this project . They basically wanted $900 a fixture which is very unreasonable. It took me 15 to 20 minutes per fixture to install. And I'm not an electrician.

I would give this company and Chris Sampson (the owner) a zero if I could. We found them on Angie's list but should have vetted them further. We asked them to put in canned lights throughout our house and Custom Electric in Greensboro NC destroyed our ceilings and walls and didn't even get the canned lights straight. We found out later they buried live wires in the wall. It was so bad we called the North Carolina Electrical Board to report them and subsequently they were reprimanded (case 2015-1077). Ultimately we ended up firing Custom Electric and hiring another local electrical firm to fix their mistakes so we could get our project completed. I don't recommend them.

I wouldn't hire him again. He made a mess and didn't even unclog my line. Plus he missed the first appointment, that should have been a clue.
