I purchased an HVAC system from them years ago that needed repairs constantly. It wasn't until the warranty was about to expire and I had requested a new system to make up for the lemon they sold me, they were able to miraculously fix it. Unfortunately my mom purchased one from them and they force you to buy the warranty. She has had it for three years and just in the last few months I have had to put almost $1000 into having them repair stuff covered under the warranty but they charge you their inflated labor charges and I have had to pay them to fix stuff that was repaired in February that their repair folks damaged. When they send someone out to fix the stuff, they don't know what they are doing. This last time it took them 2 weeks to fix it and each time they come out he claimed it was something different. We had to endure 99 degree heat for 2 weeks and it still is not working right. I recommend you look elsewhere, this company will nickel and dime you to death and cover up the fact they poorly installed their crappy equipment. Customer service is poor too. When my mom bought her unit it was $8000. My husband had looked at the wrong numbers on the bill and wrote the check for $100 less than it was supposed to be and then left. My mom called me to tell me they were not leaving until they got the remaining $100. My mom has Alzheimer's so we don't leave her access to money. I called the company and told them I would drop off the remaining money at 4pm when I left work. My mom called me an hour later crying because the technicians were still their refusing to leave. I asked her to put them on the phone and told them about the arrangement I had with the owner and they told me they were not leaving until she gave them the money. I told him I was heading that way and if they were still there I was calling the police and have them arrested for trespassing. I went to drop the check off at 4 and never received an apology for their behavior.

This is the most irreputable company that I have ever dealt with. We paid about 20000 dollars for two units installed at my home. After the contract was signed they proceeded to delay installation of the units and made non stop excuses about having the units shipped for installation as we sweltered in the heat. They installed ugly downspouts on the side of our home to install the units and route the mechanicals, wouldn't guarantee the unit unless we paid for a lone shark type fee for constant inspections and servicing contracts that were not initially disclosed and we have had 5 breakdowns of the downstairs units almost every summer for the past 5 years. They initially came out to correct an installation error they committed by installing a fan backwards. They upcharged for rerouting our original system, charge exorbitant service fees and unit costs and have never taken responsibility for the original error in installation with the service people making constant excuses for the shoddy business practices every time they came out. I would NEVER recommend using them. Overpriced!! Poor service!! Upcharges galore and they do not stand behind their services or products and are very untimely in installation and responses to complaints. It is frustrating when staff comes out and makes denials and excuses for such obvious incompetence and unethical practices. I have never seen a more poorly operated company !!!

Their labor rate is $200 per hour per worker! Outrageous! They do not provide line item details on their estimates.

NO WAY NO HOW NOT EVER AGAIN. Overpriced labor just to rip you off, nothing short of price gouging. As many installations as they've done they can't even give you a ballpark figure over the phone.  The job has to be looked at in person thus the $100 service call fee and that is where they get you. It was just an installation nothing more and they didn't provide anything, and you can just save the lame excuse you are paid by the job. It's just a mark up like the funeral business. Supply your own casket but pay dearly in other fees. JUST STAY AWAY. Over $300 labor fee for no more than 30 min. and I had even had the part. Glad I didn't buy it from them. God only knows how much mark up that would be, but just as well they made up for it though in the labor. The bonus for the $300 was to hear the guy b***ch and complain throughout the installation about some office crap that was none of my business to begin with. Really shows how unprofessional and dysfunctional this place really is. Better off with Home Advisor or Thumbtack, at least they have credible companies not out to stiff you. My bad totally not using them in the first place.

Very unhappy with these guys. Had them out to look at my boiler when it stopped working. They told me that it would cost $1300 to replace a part and then made a point of telling me that they might find additional problems once that was done.

I called Key Heating and air for a second opinion and I'm glad I did. They came out and fixed the boiler for $375 and the part they replaced was NOT the part that Williams said was broken. Apparently that part works just fine.

I'd steer clear of this company.

I had to deal with these people during a very low point in my life..death of my husband.  The servicemen and supervisors were so caring and so easy to deal with.  I would recommend these guys and company to any one who wants an honest company to deal with.  I would call them back again in a minute.

I paid these guys $175 to diagnose a failed heat pump.  (They charged $100 more than what they quoted on the phone for a diagnosis.  The 'leak test' was extra. The person on the phone mentioned the leak test but not the separate charge for it.) The result of that 2 hour visit was:  Refrigerant levels are OK.  There is a small leak somewhere. Control board may need replacement.  Due to system age and expense of repair, recommend system replacement.  And then was a $5000+ quote for the new system.  No clear diagnostics. No price for repair.  I called management, and they just referred me back to the tech, who defended this nonsense. The next company we had out to look at the system found  3 leaky valves, added refrigerant, and a few hundred dollars later, the unit runs perfectly.  Furthermore, before he knew what the problem was, the 2nd guy told us a full size heat pump was overkill for servicing 300 square feet and said if he were to recommend a replacement it would be with a more economical option.  Williams really let us down on so many levels!

The air conditioning unit in the computer server room was leaking but we discovered it at 4pm.  We were not a prior customer, but they sent someone out who arrived at 4:30pm.  They investigated the problem and were able to fix it in a day.  The price was reasonable (they could have taken advantage and sold us a new unit, but all it needed was a new valve).  Each time I called they were friendly and helpful.  Williams is terrific!

I have been a customer for over 25 years. My upstairs air conditioner was not working so I called for service. A technician came and suggested putting freon in the unit. Rather than putting a small amount as a test he added a lot and the charge was $506. One day later the system again failed. Now, for an additional charge, he suggested checking the coils. I was very disappointed that I would now have to pay more to identify a problem. BTW...the unit was about 30 years old.
The situation was not handled professionally and I was not treated as a long time customer should have been.  What has happened to your company?

Assessed my current HVAC system - unit was 20 years old and required 3 to 4 pounds of R22 refrigerant which is very expensive - gave me a proposal for a new 2 ton 14 SEER heat pump for residential - installed in three days at a competitive price - functions great - the team was extremely professional!

Horrible customer service from Williams.  Had a home appointment at 8:45 and they called after 9:00.  I was on the phone and missed the call.  When I got off my phone call I immediately called them back and they had cancelled the appointment!  And they were very, very rude about it.

I will avoid them in the future and encourage everyone I know to do the same!!!

Not sure where those oh so glowing reviews are coming from on Google but I suspect company employees cousins, uncles, etc.
I've made the mistake of hiring these r*dn*cks twice and the last time was the final straw. Had them look at a rental property that was having HVAC issues in the dead of summer. After a half*ss look around, Yosemite Sam gave me a price close to $1000 for a part replacement. Called my property management company to see what they came up with and their guy gave me a price of $350.
Stay away from this sketchy outfit!

Overpriced and poor service.  That's pretty much it.  We are switching from them after many years.  After a change in ownership, the quality dropped and this past year was the worst ever.

This company is the worst I have ever seen they have put two inferior  units in my house and I looked up the seer in line of these units and they charged  one and half times suggested retail price . And then the upstairs unit will not cool u dear 77 degrees running 24 hours a day. Would not recommend this company for anything. Doug
