Best Businesses in Texas
My experience with Rockwall Electric was phenomenal. I did price the job with all local vendors and was given the best price. Both Dwyane and Jacob went above and beyond getting my ceiling fan installed despite my tall 25 foot ceiling, even taking the time reinforce my heavy fan through the attic. I highly recommend Rockwall Electric to anyone looking for an expert installation at a reasonable cost. I will certainly only use Rockwall Electric in the future as they made me, and more importantly my wife very happy with their outstanding workmanship.

This company has been in business since 1978, specializing in electrical installations for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. They have an excellent reputation for extremely high quality work.
One of the founders has been a Master Electrician since 1967.
Highly recommend if you want the job done RIGHT, the first time.

This guy does quality work.. Excellent service, professional, and down to earth. The quality of his work is high quality. I was referred to him by someone and let me just say the work speaks for itself. He put up some ceiling fans in our home. The fans look as if they had alway been a part if the home. I would highly recommend this service.

The people that showed up all smelled like a combination of body odor, cigarettes, and beer. The assistant, a younger man who never said so much as a word to me, looked like he hadn't showered in at least a week. They were able to install the lights I asked for in three of the four rooms. They made a HUGE mess, which they didn't even attempt to clean up nor mitigate. The previously-mentioned younger man put his knee through my ceiling.
Charles Parker - one of the owners - attempted to repair the ceiling, but failed to do so and also failed to make it right as he promised he would do so very many times. They cut a hole in my wall to install a switch without discussing it with me first. I had previously told them that I wanted all of the new lights to tie into the original switch. Apparently, they didn't listen, because a new hole and new switch were installed. This wouldn't have been too big of a deal, except for the fact that, aesthetically, the new switch was off-center to the other switch (that it was immediately next to) and smaller than the other switch.
I was originally quoted $3200 for the 20 cans that I wanted installed, or $160/light. When the job was done, I was charged $2800 - too much. Since the owner wasn't there, I paid the bill and was given a receipt that wasn't itemized; it only read, Can light installation. I contacted Charles to rectify the situation. He was less than forthcoming. I asked to be refunded the difference between what I paid and what I should have paid, based on the initial estimate that was given - $560. He promised to look into it and call me back. He did this to me three times. It wasn't until I threatened to call the Better Business Bureau that he finally agreed to refund part of my money - $400.
The lights come on and my house hasn't burnt down. But, I did have to have them come out again to fix some of the lights because they weren't initially installed properly. The lights weren't secured to the joists and were just sitting on the ceiling. When they came back, they put their knee through my ceiling - again.
Basically, I overpaid for bad work.
Employ them at your own risk.
