As I reviewed before, we called for a new problem and David came out personally the same day. He brought a fix for what was wrong which was a small addition on our spicket outside. It fixed the problem completely in minutes and we are very satisfied as usual.

Great Job Fast Service- Above and Beyond what can I say Thanks Frank you guys really came through for us I don't know what we would have done without you. I would recommend GNC Plumbing to anyone in need of a reliable plumbing company in the Nashville area.

We had a kitchen sink that wouldn't drain. USA came out the same day and did a great quick job. He was knowledgeable and professional and wore a mask the entire time. He's giving us an estimate about some issues we brought to his attention...we should have had them fixed years ago. Thanks USA Plumbing for helping us.

Our toilet flooded at 5pm yesterday and Springer Plumbing was referred to us by another plumbing company that was booked up. Jeremy was fantastic. He arrived within 30 min of speaking with me and got to work. He stayed until the job was done, roughly 11pm, in the rain, in some seriously disgusting conditions. He worked with good humor and was committed to completing the job, even leaving the house and returning when a larger snake was needed. We are so very very grateful. His price was fair, especially for an emergency. I highly recommend Springer Plumbing!

Update #1 - within 20 minutes I was told they'd pay for what my AC guy has claimed damage wise thus far. My stress level, already pretty low with them, still low - moving up a star - pipe drops happen.
Original (with some added detail):
We're going to see how this plays out - to set the stage, I'm at about $6500 in with them for a large scale cast iron pipe replacement that finished Thursday. This was for replacing a main to within 10 feet of the sewer, roughly 58 feet to the house, under the house, hundreds of pounds of old cast iron pipe.
Friday I was informed the AC was out and called my AC guy not thinking anything of anything related. It'd also been a day, but I didn't know that the tenant's had not been there that night.
Monday my AC guy got here and said they'd dropped the old cast iron pipe on the air intake which crushed it, broke straps, blew out a capacitor due to no air being able to circulate, and resulted in $300+ worth of AC repair (at the moment, he's got to come back)
Contacted Mr Rooter both via voice mail and email, we'll see how they want to play it. (so far very classy, they've said they'll have a check in my hand tomorrow)

Highly recommend Steve Wilson Plumbing. A local family owned business. Awesome service. Honest and fair pricing.

Honest, helpful, and reliable. We love these guys. Scott won't sell you something you don't need, and he's consistently worked hard to diagnose weird problems on our aging HVAC unit. I recommend them without hesitation!

I called these guys out to my home to get a quote for a sewer leak in the backyard. Even though I didn't end up using them to fix it, I still owe them $476 for inspecting the area. Very nice people but don't call them unless you're for sure going to use them or you'll end up getting screwed.

I talked to Mr Mattena, about putting in an outside hydrant for me, and checking my dishwasher, it was new but not cleaning. He said it would be 95.00 an hour to install the hydrant, he was here maybe an hour to an hour and a half, installing the hydrant and checking the dishwasher and all he did was pull out the dishwasher and straighten out a kink, 5 min tops, HE HANDED ME A BILL FOR 677.00. I furnished the hydrant, so it cost him only a few dollars in material. An hour and a half at 95.00 an hour, totals $142.50 , that is a very long way from $677.00. If he would have been truthful with me I would have looked further, but I knew it could not take too long to dig a small hole, and insert the hydrant, with a few dollars worth of glue and fittings, so that is why I asked him to come, but it did not work out that way at all. They said they did not know why I waited so long to make this review, but I am not one to make waves, and I waited until I was strong enough to make this review, not expecting anything in the way of renumeration, even though it would be justified, the only satisfaction I have is in knowing that others are now aware that this can and did happen. I AM STILL IN SHOCK. YOU MIGHT WANT TO RETHINK HIRING THIS MAN.

In summation, I'm giving this company 1 star due to poor workmanship/quality and severe unprofessionalism.
Don Wood did every bit of plumbing in our new build 6,200sq ft home built in February 2019. They were paid well and above $20,000 for this work. Since move in, we have had nothing but issues with their workmanship and quality. We've had showers with no hot water, toilets that run constantly, toilets that won't flush, toilets that aren't stable, garbage disposal that doesn't work, leaky faucets, water pressure issues and the list goes on. This company has done nothing but nickel and dime us every time we have an issue. They were hired and paid a great deal of money to do our plumbing correctly to begin with. We trusted they would provide good workmanship, but in the event something did go wrong (as they often do with new builds), we felt they'd be there to back up their work.
Within the first year, they fixed what was asked. But since being fixed, we've had the same issues reappear and now that it's beyond one year, they have nickel and dimed us to fix issues (both new ones and reoccurring ones) that should have never have happened to begin with if the work had been done properly the first time. They did very sloppy work.
For one example, the air switch for the garbage disposal in the countertop was cut too large by the fabricators. Instead of calling that out as an issue during the build and finding an easy solution at the time, they installed the air switch anyways knowing well that once it's pushed so many times, it would fall through to the bottom of the cabinet due to the hole size; this unknown to my husband and I. Once it did in fact fall through and was no longer operable (a few months after the 1 years mark), they charged us a service fee to come take a look. Then they say they have to get a part and need to come back, in which they charge us another service fee. In the end, we paid an absorbent amount for this 5 minute correction that should have never have happened to begin with and were without a garbage disposal for weeks. They were counting on making money off this service call when they did the initial work.
Beyond poor and untrustworthy workmanship, they are extremely unprofessional. So much so as the service manager Hoyt has hung up on me multiple times. Further, the employees they've sent to our home are extremely unprofessional and I felt uncomfortable having them in my house around my daughter with my husband not present. So much so I asked a neighbor to come over. I'm not certain they do background checks on who's working for them.
If I were the owner of this company I would be humiliated. If you have a project, large or small, please do not hire this company. There are so many better options. I regret ever having done business with them. I hope this review can help protect another loving family from a lot of headaches. Too many to name in a review!

My review of Happy Hiller as a new customer. It is that time of the year when we were needing to get our HVAC unit serviced. Kind of new to the area and not having an HVAC serviced here before we reached out to Happy Hiller. I had read mixed reviews so we thought we would give them a try. They were very booked up so we scheduled 2-3 weeks ahead for an appointment between 8-10 AM. We received a call just after 9 AM the technician was on his way.
Now it is 11:50 AM that morning, almost noon, and 2 hours and 45 minutes after we received the call stating he was on his way. We have not heard from anyone and not seen anyone. We really need to be leaving soon so we call Hiller. I get a rep on the phone who looks into the issue. The rep states that they tried to call us at 9:10 AM and again left a voice mail at 9:15 AM to reschedule. First off, I was just called a few minutes prior to that stating the technician was on his way. I received absolutely no call after that. No call stating they were running late, no call to reschedule. I asked what number they called and left the voice mail. They provided my number. Ok, I received their call after 9 AM. First off, why would you say he is on his way then secondly, call back later to reschedule. I didn't believe any of it. The call rep seemed to get very irritated towards me and was very short with me. She was less than friendly at that point. I was very nice to her, not upset, very calm tone, just wanting to find out what is going on. I stated if he isn't on his way then I would like to just cancel the appointment. She reached out to him and placed me on hold. When she came back he was going to be here in 10 minutes. That was fine. I said that was fine and thanked her.
He arrived in 10 minutes. He was, I guess you can call it, professionally nice, but not personally. He didn't seem very happy but wasn't rude. He first asked me if I was interested in the Happy Hiller Club. At that point I would think about it, this experience isn't going great at all I am thinking. This is more than 3 hours after I was told he was going to be here. Yes I was waiting 3 hours from the I am on my way call and 2 hours late with no, I'm sorry I am late. Technician acted like nothing was wrong.
Techician went to work on the HVAC. Came back and was talking about a part that needs to be replaced and kind of quickly went thought what he found. Stated he could replace the part. It would cost $199 for him to do it and $6 for the part. I asked him what was all included in the $199. He seemed to get very agitated when I asked him. He said Well it is for me being here, my time, Ok is this where the Happy Hiller True Tranparency Pricing comes in? The least I would have expected, since I never got an I am sorry I was late or 'I was backed up (which he stated he wasn't backed up), would have at least offered a discount for the repair or something for the huge inconvenience. I only say that because I have worked in customer service for more many years and if you make a mistake, you want to make it right for the customer. You want the customer to have the best experience possible. No one tried to make anything right here.
I asked the technician if I can have a copy of what was done. He stated they do not provide copies of the work that was done. He never told me what he did even when I asked. Kind of avoided the question. Just told me what needed replaced. There is no Transparency here.
Would I just Happy Hiller again? Based on this experience no. Would I recommend? Based on this experience no. No notification of being late, no appologizes for the inconvenience. Phone reps very infriendly when you simply just want to find out what is going on when someone is almost 2 hours late. Unprofessional customer support and a company not willing to make things right for the customer when they know they are in the wrong. There were no phone calls or voice mails to reschedule. They never tried to reach me to notify me that they were going to be 2 hours late.

To their credit they were punctual and communicated when they would come out, which happened to be the same day. They had a 95 dollar service fee which a lot of places have but most other places roll that into the repair if they do the work, with Hoffman that is not the case. My review is based solely on pricing as Hoffman was more than double what other plumbers quoted me. I was given a thorough estimate that explained each option to repair my water heater. The cheapest option was to replace a valve and would have cost 400 dollars plus the 95 dollar service call. I called around because the quote to replace the water heater was 2100 which to me seemed a little high because a water heater is 500-700 dollars and I can't imagine it would be 1400 dollars in labor. The second and third quotes were both under a thousand to replace the water heater. I am not sure if Hoffman does good work or not but based on the very high pricing I would not use them. They were very communicative and came out the same day which was good, but again just way too expensive.

Overcharged by a LOT to recharge air conditioner. R410A refrigerant is $23/lb for a 25lb bottle. I was charged $77/lb to fill my 12lb system. Very costly, making a 200% profit on refrigerant is pretty despicable

Wish I could give more stars. If you're having a plumbing issue, this is the first call to make. Nathan was fast and knowledgeable. I had calls in to other companies and he got to me before I could even get a call back from other plumbers. Thorough and friendly. Could not be happier and would absolutely call again. He unclogged the main because we had water backed up into the house and also installed a fluid master in my bathroom. I was worried about cost but he was very reasonably priced and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you.

Matt Burkeen with MB PLUMBING AND HVAC is a nice Christian fellow who is extremely reliable and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. No matter how big or small he is with you all the way! I have used him for many jobs both in heating and air as well as plumbing. He knows more about my house than I do!
