Called Friday with an issue and spoke with Dragos. He said he could come by on Saturday. Saturday morning he texted me to let me know he was on his way. He arrived a short time afterwards. The issue was with my smoke detectors. After looking at it he assured me nothing was wrong with the electrical side and I just needed to change out my detectors. He also gave me some advice on my landscape lighting. He was really nice, informative and on time! Plus he didn't even charge me! I highly recommend Oak Lake Electric!

Had a Lee Company check out my parents struggling AC unit. It seemed to be underperforming. Scheduled a visit then had to ask them to change the time.
No problem. They communicated the change of schedule and showed up on time. Greg, the technician, fully checked out my parent's unit and communicated to me his findings. He was great. I recently contacted Kirby electric for a warranty service call in my new home. They responded immediately.  Their service technician was very professional and extremely helpful. I will recommend Kirby electric for all your electrical needs.

I'm ready to spend $30,000 on a custom power system on my house, I called them attempting to get an estimate, didn't call me back for a week, I called again and scheduled an appointment for someone come out and give me an estimate, I waited for an hour for the person, finally called him, he said he was sick and wasn't getting to his appointments today. When I told him it was bad business to not call me and let me know he wasn't coming, he said, well in today's day and age it's understandable when someone sick, and I said yes, but that's bad business that you didn't bother to even call me and tell me you weren't coming. I have things to do. Anyway, if they're this unreliable and do not care to call me and tell me they're not coming to the appointment was scheduled, there's no way I would spend five figures with this company to install a propane generator in my home. Unreliability doesn't get better with time.

After contacting the BBB for help resolving this matter, the company reached out to us and are working to make things right.  We are happy to be working on a mutually acceptable agreement.

When my wife told me about this electrians she said they had great reviews. I joked and asked if the reviewers were relatives. I called, told them what we needed and set up an appointment on July 19th. Brian showed up was really nice. He stated he would go back, discuss with the owner, give us a price and a materials list. That was the last we heard from them.  My wife called and left a message twice and also sent them an email. If they didn't want to do the work just tell us but to ignore us is rude.

They were able to schedule us right away. Once the tech arrived and assessed the problem with our AC units, he serviced them and had another tech deliver the part he needed to finish the job. He spent all day making sure the problem was fixed and was still very gracious as he wrote up our paperwork and explained the service agreements.

I hired TnT Plumbing to replace the sewer system at my house on Dec 18, 2017. Due to freezing temperatures and soggy ground the completion of the job was put on hold. I called several times to check on the progress and was reassured it would be completed as soon as weather permitted. Fast forward over 3 months and my yard is still a complete wreck. There are still exposed pipes, dirt piled up and old pipes laying in the yard. I waited patiently for the weather to improve and give them a chance to clean up the mess. I have tried several times to contact them with no response. My sidewalk was torn up and left in pieces. My chain link fence was ran over with equipment, bent up and left half covered with dirt as well as my landscape edging. I'm not sure what's going on, as they were highly recommended with good ratings. But it's going on 4 months looking at a trashed yard is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. They were paid over $1200 for materials and labor. I've reached out to them several times in the last 4 months and they haven't even come back to clean up the old pipes they left in the yard, or fix the mess they made.

DO NOT USE- Came by to quote over a month ago, and has rescheduled/no showed for the work 3 times now. First reschedule was only after I texted to confirm it, the second after pushing my appointment from 3pm to 9pm before I had to ask if he was ever going to show, then he apologizes and chooses the next appointment... third time tells me he's on his way right when he's supposed to show and then radio silence for HOURS. Never to be heard from again. How hard is it to tell people you can't make it or can't take the work? I wish you could charge back appointments for all the time taken from you waiting around. ZERO if I could give a zero
