I just had the most wonderful experience getting an attic fan installed by Terrell Lemons Owner/Contractor With Better Days Contractor Services.  He worked flawlessly with my warranty company and installed a virtually silent fan.  It is working great cooling my attic.  He and his assistant were pleasant, polite and answered all my questions.  Terrell even made me a video of the new fan working so I did not have to get up in the attic.  He will be the first person I will call for any services I need.  I will also refer my friends and neighbors to him.

I installed an electric heater in my garage to combat freezing pipes, but it was 240v so I needed help wiring it up. Out of all the companies that came out, Todd took the time to understand what I was doing, check out the access and get a good idea of the scope of the job, and gave me a good price based on what he saw and what we discussed.

Some companies came in waaaay over what Todd quoted, but most were right around the same price. I went with R3 because Todd seemed very knowledgeable, took the time necessary to understand exactly what needed to be done, and he just genuinely seems like a good dude and left me with a great impression.

Also, in the end he completed the job quickly and efficiently.

These gentlemen showed up right when they said and were very professional. We had a surge due to lightening that fried an electrical outlet in the garage. They inspected the damage, repaired it, and did a good job. The cost was reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone!

They did a great job at fixing my electric and hanging my ceiling fans but charged me way more than I was told, when I called some lady said we usually charge $89 an hour and since your disabled we can give you a break and charge you $80 an hour so when I called back to schedule the work with Chris he said he would honor that price of $80 an hour and then the guys came out and did the work and I got a bill charging me $89 an hour for the first guy and $48 an hour for the second guy, total bill was over $825 so I called back to speak to Chris about this and he said everyone knows if two people come out you will be charged for two. I told him not me or any other woman you know plus I asked several men if that was correct and each one of them said no that if they were going to charge you for two he should have said I will honor the $80 and hour but if I have to send two people one will be charged at a different rate. I even told the two guys that were here I was getting $80 an hour and I was happy about that and Eric one of the electricians said no it is $100 an hour $50 for each of us so now I have been given three different rates and I don't feel like they are very reliable. I had two electricians and one could have done it alone they had to send two because the senior electrician had a journeyman because the older one couldn't even climb a ladder because he had a bad back. I WILL NEVER USE METROPLEX AGAIN JUST BECAUSE THEIR PRICING AND CHARGES ARE NOT CONSISTENT. The Journeyman did an excellent job and it wasn't his skill that will prevent me from using them it is their word is not consistent. They did finally reduce the rate of them from $89 to $80 and $48 to $45 and hour which still isn't what I was told !!!

I needed a couple outlets and a basic light fixture added to an attic. We agreed on a window for someone to come out and provide an estimate.

They never showed up.

I called. They apologized and rescheduled.

The kids who showed up to do the estimate seemed disinterested, were almost entirely non-communicative, and barely even looked at what I needed done. They said they'd send an estimate and they left, never to be heard from again.

Let's not waste each other's time. If you don't want my business that's fine--just say so and I'll find someone who does.
