Extremely helpful and professional! They called back after I left a message very promptly. I called for a consultation but he was able to help me over the phone. These guys saved me a ton of money a after a competitor tried to tell me I needed a whole new circuit board to pass inspection.  They were quick to quote, got me scheduled in the time frame I needed, and did great work.  What more could you want?

We had contacted Big City Electric in March of this year for an EV charger for our Tesla. David and his team were prompt to come and quote the work and we decided to move forward with him being very reasonably priced. The worked performed was timely and minus a small issue of the outlet being installed upside down (which was fixed after the same day), no complaints.

Fast forward to December of this year, I noticed the charging had stopped working for the Tesla. I opened the breaker box to find that the breaker had tripped and that there was burning plastic smell accompanied by a warm temperature from the specific breaker. I had immediately reached out to David and his team since the statement of work states a one year warranty on all parts and service. I have contacted Big City Electric multiple times through email and voicemail (no one picking up calls) over a two week span with no luck. Are they still in business?

Now my family and I are stuck without an EV charger during the holiday weeks. I understand breakers are faulty and some products do malfunction, but to not communicate or respond back for weeks is tough.

Update: 1/4 - Still no call from Big City or answer after multiple attempts. Just went ahead and had another electrician come out to fix the issue. We found that the work was not performed to code and that a different breaker brand was used than what the panel was causing the breaker to not sit properly, therefore causing possible heat damage to the panel that may require an entire new panel. Very disappointed as this could have caused major damage to the house if it did not already cause a couple thousand dollars to replace the panel.

Nathan was amazing at helping us with our electrical problems.  When our electricity started having issues Nathan came right out even though it was late at night to make sure our house was safe instead of waiting until the next morning.  He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable about troubleshooting and repairing our older electrical box and main power line.

Damon was so nice to come out on a holiday and replace an outlet that was damaged.  Super professional and knowledgeable.  He was able to come out the same day- you can't ask for any better response time.  Such a great person to work with.  We look forward to getting more electrical projects handled by Damon in the future!  Damon, we cannot thank you enough!!!!

Gave upfront estimate online. Technician came out early and only took 30 minutes on what was estimated to be a 3 to 4 hour job. The cost ended up being half of what was quoted. Would definitely use again.

After being very satisfied with previous electrical work by Ed at Safe Electric, we contacted them again regarding the installation of a 30 amp/240 volt electric vehicle charging plug in our garage (typically known as an electric dryer plug). We also requested they install an RV electrical box, just like the ones at the campgrounds for our RV that is parked on the side of the garage and to accommodate any RV visitors. Ed provided an estimate and also recommended the installation of a surge protector since our detached garage's electrical comes from buried electrical lines from our home's basement some distance away. The only other surge protector is on the opposite side of the house (at another basement panel). Recently, Ed and Kyle came out, crawled around in the garage's attic space, fished wire through the walls, etc, etc. The installation is VERY clean and professional. We now have the 30 amp/240 volt electric vehicle charging plug inside the garage between two of the parking spots so it can be used from either spot (wiring is ALL inside the wall). We have a full RV box on the side of the garage. It has a 30 amp/120 volt regular plug, just like the ones in the house, another 30 amp/240 volt dryer plug for small or medium size RV's (or, for an electric vehicle that won't fit in the garage) and the 50 amp/240 volt plug for the BIG RV visitors. Finally, Ed and Kyle added a surge protector in the garage wall, just below the electrical panel. GREAT JOB, Ed and Kyle! Thank you! Looks great and we are already using some of the plugs! I had a very good experience with this company and the technician, Zach.  He arrived promptly, went over all of the services thoroughly and did a great job.  He was very knowledgeable.  When I needed a return visit for some additional services, they were able to get the same technician back out within a day or two.  I would definitely recommend Mr. Electric and Zach to anyone.

don't waste your time. owner shows up unannounce. got him from home warranty company. slow, slow, and slow. Too busy trying to get more work from you instead of fixing the issues. touching stuff around the house. creepy

Do not even consider this! They ruined wallpaper... couldn't hang a mirror! Please find someone else. i own a construction company but don't have time to send my guys to do these items: My wife had to ask them to leave. I am suing them. They are awful and also don't answer the phone.
