BCE Response to Covid-19 We are adjusting our business and communicating with customers our safe practices as directed by Health, Government, and industry recommendations as follows: 1. Social Distancing. a. We are scheduling our employees to start time a half-hour apart. b. We are keeping 6 feet distance between ourselves and customers. c. We are asking customers to isolate their pets to avoid contact. d. We have suspended onsite appointments for new work. 2. Safe Practices. a. We are taking everyone's temperature with an infrared device daily and logging the results. i. Instituted March 9, 2020. b. We have supplied each employee their own hand towels and soap. c. We are asking customers to have a location ready for us before arrival to wash our hands. d. We are washing hands at a minimum of once an hour. e. Continuing to wear foot covers. f. Wearing gloves when applicable. g. Cleaning all vehicle and work surfaces daily. h. Cleaning all power and hand tools daily. i. We are asking customers if there are any additional steps that would make them more comfortable and or expected and then following the customer's request as long as it does not compromise Safe Practices. j. Fitting our customers needs we continue to grow as more businesses and home owners continue as repeat customers and telling others about our craft.

Born and raised in Columbus, OH.  I worked in finance for 10 years, as a restaurant manager for 4 years and decided that a trade craft was very rewarding. I worked my way into middle management with a large company while attending Journey Person school. I completed schooling and became a Master Electrician in 2006. Since that time I have grown a small home town business.

I was a past customer. been trying for days to get a hold of someone. message says they're on the line with another customer. maybe at least set reasonable expectations with answering machine? will happily update review if they ever call me back.

Update: They called me back today and were apologetic about not getting back to me. Apparently the change in weather has them really busy. They talked to me about my options for adding a second tesla charger and what they offered seemed to be quite a bit better for about the same price as what another electrician had in mind. They also seemed to have taken good notes on the job they did for me 3 years ago because they sounded familiar with my current setup. Definitely hoping their final quote is in the same ballpark as what they told me on the phone. For now based on phone call changing review to 5 stars.

Last year I had Big City Electric install my EV charger and it was a great experience.  Fast forward to March and it stopped working.  I called them to come out given that it was still under warranty.  They stated that it was an issue with the charger itself.  Tesla examined the charger cable and found no issues.  I then had Big City Electric back out again and the issue was fixed.  Now three months later, the EV charger has stopped working again.  I have called them countless times; however, there is no way to leave a message.  I have also emailed them and contacted them through their website with no response.   Is Big City Electric still in business?  I am hoping this review gets their attention.  I shouldn't have to pay to hire another company when this is under warranty.  I will also be contacting Tesla so that they can remove Big City Electric as a recommended installer.

Big City Electric was sent to my home in February of '22 by my home warranty company to replace a couple of light switches that were faulty.  They came out promptly and replaced them with the wrong color.  They apologized for not having the correct color and assured me that they would come out to replace them.  Well here we are 7 months later with barely a response and some promises but nothing is happening.  They either don't answer or make promises they don't keep.  Ridiculous.

We had contacted Big City Electric in March of this year for an EV charger for our Tesla. David and his team were prompt to come and quote the work and we decided to move forward with him being very reasonably priced. The worked performed was timely and minus a small issue of the outlet being installed upside down (which was fixed after the same day), no complaints.

Fast forward to December of this year, I noticed the charging had stopped working for the Tesla. I opened the breaker box to find that the breaker had tripped and that there was burning plastic smell accompanied by a warm temperature from the specific breaker. I had immediately reached out to David and his team since the statement of work states a one year warranty on all parts and service. I have contacted Big City Electric multiple times through email and voicemail (no one picking up calls) over a two week span with no luck. Are they still in business?

Now my family and I are stuck without an EV charger during the holiday weeks. I understand breakers are faulty and some products do malfunction, but to not communicate or respond back for weeks is tough.

Update: 1/4 - Still no call from Big City or answer after multiple attempts. Just went ahead and had another electrician come out to fix the issue. We found that the work was not performed to code and that a different breaker brand was used than what the panel was causing the breaker to not sit properly, therefore causing possible heat damage to the panel that may require an entire new panel. Very disappointed as this could have caused major damage to the house if it did not already cause a couple thousand dollars to replace the panel.

We needed a New Main Panel Box Upgrade from 100 Amp to 200 Amp in my home and a Hot Tub 50amp direct hookup and a 50 amp RV hookup in my garage. I ask for Bids from 3 companies and Big City was by far the Best. But that is not where they really shined. This was a Big job and when they came out they were very organized, ready, polite, clean and very very good at what they do. I also had a Ceiling Fan / Light combo with a dimmer added also. They knocked out the Main Panel, moved to the Ceiling Fan and then the 50 amp for the Hot Tub all along cleaning as they went and leaving no trace they had been there when done.It was also the Little things ,like taking a Level to the small 50 amp box to make sure it was straight. I would have done it by eye but he chuckled and said Yes but I do not sign off on your work just mine. LOL   You just do not get Great Work and crew and PRICE very often when dealing with contractors and outside help. So YES I give them 6 Stars ( just cant see #6 thats how good they are it is hidden) Every appointment , call, communication (city inspection, AEP ) went off without a hitch. It really was a Blessing to have found them. As I mention I took the time for 3 bids and one was as high as $12,000 and I paid a little less then 1/2 that so beware of others without me calling them out by name. I would Love to give Big Kudos to each one of those gentlemen but there was 4 or 5 guys working as a team..So David Weber Congrat's on running a Top Notch 5 star company and crew. I'm adding some pics ..Thanks Again and if I know anyone or I need you again I know where to call. ......

We had Big City Electric out to our house recently, and had a great experience. Their rates are $90 for the first 30 minutes, and $45 each 30 minutes after that. They were prompt, wore masks (COVID-19), kept their distance, and explained everything that they were doing. They went above and beyond while they were here, and potentially saved our lives with one of the fixes they did. I'd absolutely recommend them to everyone!!!

I've been super impressed in my experience with Big City Electric, who came out to fix some outlets that weren't working in our home.

The technician was an hour late, but he called to let us know this and once he arrived he quickly completed the job as requested. While he was here, he also re-wired a few light switches and did it as quickly as he could to keep the hours we would be billed at a minimum.

A few days later, we noticed a few other outlets in close proximity to where the tech had been working on re-wiring weren't working. I assumed maybe the previous tech had done something wrong and called back and a week later another tech came out to take a look at the issue.

Turns out it was some glow in the dark light covers my parents had installed on a few of our outlets had burned out and were creating issues with the outlets that weren't working.

This second tech was incredibly personable and friendly and took the covers off without charging us for anything.

This is EXACTLY how good business is done and you'd be foolish to use anyone other than Big City Electric for your electrical needs. They've earned my business for life.

This is our 3rd time using BCE.  We have been in the same home for over 20 years.  As stoves have gotten deeper over the years, the issue with our wonky floor electric box being installed wrong by the builder has gotten more annoying.  With our newest stove, we decided to finally fix it and have BCE back to get it back as far as it would go.  

Bryan and Charles were on time, quick but thorough and charged less than we were quoted due to the ease of the job.  (Technically, we could've done this on our own but having a professional do the work gives us peace of mind.)  I never thought having a stove actually slide back to the wall would make me smile so big but I guess that's what being an adult is all about, Charlie Brown.

I had Dave and Dave out to repair a bathroom light and replace a ceiling fan. They were very quick and efficient. Both items are working as expected now. I am very thankful I took the issues seriously and found this wonderful company through Yelp to do the repairs. A shorter honey-do list is always helpful. I was impressed with the time they took to explain every step of the process. They also took their time depositing the check, but were kind enough to warn me ahead of time that there are delays to check deposits.

Update: David reached out to me about the below situation and did everything he could to make it right. I greatly appreciate the customer service that is very rare these days. Would definitely use again as I know they will take care of me.

Had them come out to install a smart thermostat in July. Worked without issue until October when we switched it to heat. This caused an electrical shortage that blew up the thermostat and our furnace. Literal electrical fire. We had HVAC come out immediately and said our system is unrepairable and must be replaced. They diagnosed it as originating from the wiring of the thermostat. I reached out to Big City Electric to report the incident and heard nothing. Their work is going to cost me $15,000 in a new HVAC system.

The person who did the estimate was very professional and detail oriented . The electricians were very knowledgeable and extremely skilled at their work . They were fast and accurate with installation of recessed lighting in a 121 year old home . The price was also very good for this project . They had the lowest bid and the outcome was amazing lighting . I will be using again for my next lighting project .

We asked Big City Electric to come give us an estimate for a Tesla charger installation. Steve, the owner, responded quickly and came to see our home and give us an estimate. His estimate was much more complete than others I had received and I felt like he really understood the codes in my city as well as the procedure for Tesla charger installations.
On the day of the installation Paul and Christian came to take care of it. They were very efficient, kind to our children and pets, and kept me informed. They finished more quickly than I expected and cleaned up afterwards. I was very impressed with the whole process, start to finish. I feel like we received great value for our money. These will be my electricians going forward!

A recent storm took out my electric and caused significant damage to system. Big City Electric had Anthony at my home within 2 hours. Anthony did a fantastic job getting everything fixed so AEP could restore power. Anthony even helped me with fallen tree branches. Great service. Highly recommend this company.

Big City Electric installed two Gen 3 Tesla chargers at my home; they did an amazing job! With something like this, you don't want to bargain shop - They are recommended by Tesla's website, which was important to me, so I gave them a call. Also, their ratings online are solid, so that gave me some assurance of the job they do. Pricing is different for everyone, but if you've done your homework, I expected to pay between $1,000 and $1,500 - I don't want to give the exact price I paid, each home is different, but I was in that ballpark - That does NOT include the two Gen 3 chargers at $500 each. The two guys that came out to my home were super polite, easy going, friendly and very professional. With all of the COVID-19 crap going on, they even brought their own soap and towels, we social distanced, and all of that COVID-19 stuff. The visual appearance of the chargers was very important to me, the spacing, etc...  It's Tesla; I wanted it to look nice. They did a great job to satisfy my OCD pre-measured and marked spots that I had placed on the wall. When they were done we tested everything and it worked perfectly! Additionally, they cleaned up all work areas, and not just a quick once over...They really cleaned them up nicely. What's even more impressive, I had a Dyson vacuum hanging by the electric panel in the basement and the electrician moved it and nicely routed the power cable - Wow! Overall, I am very happy with the install work of Big City Electric. I would definitely recommend them for any electric work, and definitely for the Tesla charger installs.

Had Big City provide quote for installing a 240V line to charge a Tesla.  Very impressed with their professionalism and thoroughness.  Would have liked to employ their services, but unfortunately, we received 2 or 3 quotes from other reputable vendors 50% lower for a half day job.  They were firm on their proposal when queried about the pricing deltas.  Needless to say, my advice would be to shop around.

I had several misc electrical projects I needed done around my condo. I received quotes from two different companies. The quote from Big City was less than half of the other quote I received. The owner Dave was friendly and explained exactly what they would do and how. The two electricians that completed the work, Dave G. And Christian were friendly and completed everything quickly and cleanly. They communicated the different issues they ran into and worked with me to come up with other options they would work just as well. Very good experience and I would definitely use them again.

IfI could give more stars I would. Brian and Paul were professional, one time (early) and just all around nice guys. I found the company here on Yelp! and hired based on the reviews. They are ALL true. In a nutshell my mother has had 1/2 of the kitchen outlets in an Out of Order state for years. This spread over to the outdoor light and another wall. This was not a good thing -- it affected me being able to plug in my computer to work in the dining area and made blending smoothies inconvenient, lol. The boys (Southern term w/ love) were able to come in and diagnosis the problem and fix everything in record time (IMO). No weird upcharge suggestions or dragging out the event. And all this comes with a great warranty.  Very happy.

We had a circuit on our breaker that wasn't working. It wasn't tripped, just didn't work. No lights or outlets on that circuit worked, only our kitchen microwave was on the same circuit. We used an extension cord to go across the kitchen so the microwave could be used while the circuit was out.

I called Big City Electric on a weekend and left a message. I got a prompt call back on the next business day. He asked me for all the details and really heard me. So you know when you talk to someone making an appointment and you feel like they're listening, but not hearing you. He got my all my concerns and accurately recorded what I was telling him. As a bonus when I told him someone else would be at the house when they come he just asked a couple of questions and moved on.

The person who came to our house was polite and courteous. He offered to wear the shoe wraps, which rejected since we're redoing our flooring anyway. He asked multiple times if we were sure. Great manners. He was also very thorough. He didn't just check the outlets we told him were an issue. He went all over the house and tested everything. We had a couple outlets that were just bad, he went ahead and replaced them.

The overall problem was actually in the box itself. We needed a part, an old part so he didn't have it. We went out to get it same immediately and called his cell phone. He came back same day and installed the part.

I had such a good experience at the beginning I didn't shop around for other electricians. So I can't tell you where the price fell, but I can tell you it didn't feel steep.

Overall excellent experience. I will patronize them again and would recommend them.

Affordable. Honest. Fast. They addressed a fuse box issue I had with prompt and courteous inspection and provided an affordable and up-front solution that wasn't too much of a body-blow to my wallet.

Interaction was also very pleasant. Being on the backfoot in repair situations for someone who tends to prefer to get his own hands dirty is never a...comfortable experience, but I never felt like I was 1) taken for a ride or 2) talked down to for my layman knowledge in this respective area of home repair and upkeep.

As I mentioned in my HVAC related review for Swartz Air, I respect straightforwardness and confidence with miminal fuss. I got all of that here.

Second experience not too good. Called and sent over materials to arrange an on site estimate. No response received. Called and asked about the estimate and was told that the email was received and that someone would contact me. No response back.

After four days, I emailed that I was going to use someone else. The next day I got an apologetic email explaining that they got really busy and appreciated me advising that the job was no longer needed.

A few suggestions.

1. Acknowledge inquiries. Little as frustrating as emailing a business into a black hole. A simple response saying the email was received does wonders.

2. If within 24 hours, you can't provide a substantive response on next steps, again, follow up with a communication. Nothing says customer indifference like not communicating. Be proactive - don't make the customer chase.

3. If you are too busy, again let the customer know that the request is going to take some time and give the customer an option to accept that or look elsewhere. Again, time is valuable to each of us. Lost days matter when waiting for a response. Act professionally even when the job can't be done and customers will remember. Blow them off and all that is left is a sour taste.

WAY OVERPRICED: Charged $180 for a simple 30 min ceiling fan install.  Even the technician stated that this was a simple job.  

Technicians arrived 35 min before the scheduled time also. (7:55am for an 8:30 appt)

But I am rating 3 stars because they did quality work and did it quickly.  However I would not use this company again or recommend to others at the rate I was charged.

We are new to the area and found Jason and his team on google - what a blessing!  He and his team and some of the most professional, kind people I have had the pleasure of working with.  We had fans replaced/installed in our home.  Jason and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.  He understands the value of return customers and truly puts the customer first, which is incredibly rare now.  We were so pleased with their work and dedication, we are working on another project with them!  I don't typically write reviews, but had to make note of the superb work they did!

We purchased ceiling fans for two 1st floor rooms in our home.  Neither room had an outlet in the ceiling so we needed wiring work done in addition to installing the fans.  We requested quotes from several electricians.  David from Big City Electric came out to discuss the work we wanted.  He asked lots of questions and gave us some options.  He even talked about some steps that would cost less.  I really like when a company does that.  It tells me they are interested in giving me the best option at the best price even if they could have charged me more.  Their goal is not to make as much money as they can off of me.  Their goal is to give their customers the best option at the best price.  This earns my trust and my loyalty.  

Our appointment was for 8:30am.  Jason called me before the appointment time to let me know he had been delayed while picking up supplies.  I do value punctuality, but I also understand circumstances come up.  I really appreciate it when I am told when someone is going to be late for an appointment.  Not every business will give you that courtesy.  They will just show up late.

Anyway, Jason informed me he would be delayed .  A short time later he arrived.  I showed him the fans and where we wanted them.  He promptly began to work.  A few hours later I had exactly what I wanted.  

I highly recommend Big City Electric for great service and a great price.

Well, i just ended my trip from France and i see the reply the owner Dave replied to me. Fact...This man has never called me!! Fact..i have never received an email from this company on follow up! Fact.. i had the electrician call Jason the day of repairs and he said to me there was nothing he could do about the complaint i had!! Fact.. i tried to call Dave, left 2 vm and no call back at all!!!! So before you reply to one of your reviews please know what your talking about.

Left a message to get an estimate on a few things and they contacted me the next day. We set up an appointment for a specific day and time. I took personal time off from work, got home and sat...and sat...and sat. No phone call...nothing.

I just wish you could hold these people liable to have to pay you back for time lost at work when they stiff you like this. Unprofessional.

I reached out to this firm based on the quality and number of online reviews.   I received a response from the owner within 24 hours and quickly scheduled an appointment thereafter.   The owner appears to be proficient with technology.  

Two service technicians, Christian and Mike, were at my house today.   They were exceedingly professional and friendly.   The repair was completed efficiently and the overall charge was reasonable for electrical work.   The fact that they had the necessary part on their truck and did not need to make a second visit was another plus.

My first experience with Big City Electric was quite positive; should I need an electrician in the future, I would happily use this firm again.

From the time I called, they were at my house within just a few days. Replaced 5 builder lights with custom ones I bought myself, one of which was in the two-story stairwell. And they put in an outlet in my bathroom. They sent 2 guys and were done in 2 hours. They were super nice and professional. And being a woman home alone with two men coming to my house, they made me feel very comfortable and were very sweet. Cost around $350 plus a nice tip!

We needed a 240 outlet for a new electric stove so I used Yelp to send out a request for bids. After a few emails, I picked Big City. Their price was very fair and obviously the reviews were great too. Savhon and Charles came out and were very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

I purchased a large ceiling fan for our new home and we contacted Big City Electric to install it.  After coming out to evaluate they discovered a host of problems that would prevent it from being installed.

At this point they told us all of our options ranging from stopping the install to the fixes we could do and cost associated.  It was clear, concise, and still very affordable even with the additional work necessary to correct the weird setup the previous homeowner had left in our house.

We highly recommend them and would do business with them again!

I was in need of an electric panel upgrade, I contacted Big City Electric and a few other electric companies. Big City was the most reasonable. They didnt try to upsale me like the other companies. I was explained in detail what my best options were. Chris was on time and did a wonderful job installing the upgrade! Will use them for all my electrical needs.

I called and requested an estimate to have some electrical work done in my home. David came out and answered all of our questions..and came out for FREE!!!! I was going to get multiple quotes from different companies but everyone else wanted to charge to come out. I ended up going with Big City because they were so helpful, professional, and well priced.

Today, Don and Chris came out to perform the work. They could not have been greater!! They went above and beyond to make sure that they got the work done professionally, quickly and properly. They were courteous, knowledgeable and very very nice. I would recommend Big City to anyone who needs electrical work done. You cannot go wrong giving them a call.

This company was very quick to respond and to get the job done. Their price was better than the other companies that we called. The technicians, Bryan, and Charles were very friendly, courteous, and professional. Bryan and Charles kept us informed of their progress, worked while respecting our belongings. Excellent employees!  I would recommend this company, and these two technicians to anyone needing electrical work  completed quickly, fairly priced, and  by professional and friendly technicians.

They left over 30 holes in our plaster walls and gave us the number of a friend we could call and pay over $1,000 more to fill. We had to fight them to do over five things that were clearly written in our contract.

Thoroughly impressed with big city  electric.  I received multiple quotes for various electrical work including an upgrade to 200 Amps, outlet installation, and some light switches been separated. Recently bought an old 1920s home that needs a lot of work. David, the owner, came out answered all of my annoying first-time homeowner questions, was very patient, and helped explain everything. His quote was fast and accurate! He even offered helpful suggestions on ways to cut costs. I greatly appreciate that! His crew, Sean and Jason, were excellent. Everyone I met from them treated my home exceptionally well.  They two were patient and answered all my questions and did quick and reliable work.  I will definitely use big city electric for all of my future house needs. It's really hard to find customer service like this. Much appreciated. Highly recommended.

We chose Big City Electric because of their wonderful Yelp reviews, and we were definitely pleased with their work. David and Chuck were very friendly and knowledgeable, showed up when promised, did a great job on the multiple electrical concerns we had -- from changing out all of our hard-wired smoke alarms to fixing problem outlets and switches -- and cleaned up the small amount of dirt that happened while they were repairing our switches, etc. We're going to schedule another Big City Electric visit soon to have them fix a ceiling light in our foyer and install another ceiling light in one of the bedrooms. We highly recommend them!

Brian plowed through our to-do list like a champ. He fixed our bathroom GFI, troubleshooted our basement GFI which pops every time in rains, installed a new outlet behind our wall-mounted TV, troubleshooted two landscape lights, and troubleshooted a garage outlet that was not working.  He was true to his quote, showed up just a bit early, was friendly, and charged a very reasonable rate.  On top of all that, he won over the affection of our dog.  Thanks Brian & Big City Electric!

I would consider myself a handy person, and with my combined cheapskatedness, I like to DIY everything imaginable around the house. The power of YouTube how-to's has saved me quite a bit of cash. However, electric is one domain I will not touch with a 10 foot pole. (The only outcome I can ever see is me ending up with the same fate as Aunt Bethany's cat from Christmas Vacation after chewing on one to many Christmas lights). After reading some consistently positive reviews about Big City Electric online, I gave them a call for a quote.

I wanted to have 5 fans installed in our 2nd floor, and unfortunately, the house wasn't pre-wired for their installation. After getting a really reasonable estimate for what I wanted, I scheduled them to perform the install within the week. Chad and Scott were my electricians, and they promptly arrived on-time (literally almost to the exact minute) and were very friendly.

I had envisioned myself needing to go room to room with them to assist with their install, but after giving them the lay of the land, they took everything on themselves. They put plastic sheets over everything in the rooms so there was very little mess created from the drywall ceiling being drilled out. After everything was installed and in place, they even vacuumed the floors and wiped down the switch covers they installed (it almost looked cleaner than when they arrived).

Although I had them install the fan boxes and wiring, I went ahead and installed the actual fans myself (see cheapskatedness comment above). Even though they weren't installing the fans, they gave me some tips and feedback as I was putting them in.

Because of their competitive pricing, promptness, professionalism, cleanliness, and ease to work with, Big City Electric will be my go-to for any future electric needs I have around the house. Thanks Chad and Scott!

Bryan and Eric did a good job with an old house and some older wiring.  They showed up early and cleaned up better than most contractors do.  Would definitely recommend them and use them again myself.

In February 2016 we had Big City out to hang a chandelier in our grand entry and perform some other minor electrical maintenance (ie one of our porch lights did not work).  The team was extremely polite, thorough and professional.  The team arrived right on time and was able to hang the chandelier, fix the porch light and even provide a quote for some additional work within 30 minutes.  We are fairly new to the Columbus area, and plan on using Big City for all of our future electrical needs.

I've worked with Big City Electric on 3 projects now and I'm consistently pleased with the service and quality of work. They are on time and efficient when they work and genuinely nice people. They detailed out the costs, respected the fact that I've had a tight budget on some projects, and walked me through options to get to the outcome I needed. I've always liked using them as a vendor for projects, but what finally prompted me to write a review is when I contacted them in the middle of the night for an electrical emergency and they had someone at my house by 8:30 in the morning. Great company and I look forward to working with them on future projects!

AEP notified me that our electrical meter box had become detached from the house. I took a look at the issue and tried to figure it out myself how to get the box secured back to the house.  After careful consideration I did not want to attempt this on my own as I knew the box was still live. I searched online read some reviews and Called Big City Electric. They were extremely courteous, arrived exactly on the time they gave us and took care of the meter box.

Thanks guys, I will recommend you to anyone I know!

Prompt, friendly service with a guarantee, what more could you want from an electrician? The dispatcher/coordinator Mickey was a very friendly lady who helped my business out by scheduling a next day service call.  The electrician came out and connected 4 large power whips for our new cubicle setup, he was very friendly and knowledgeable.  Not a huge bill, either, which I was worried about for next day service; very fair rates!  I now have an electrician to recommend to my colleagues and even family, which is the best rating I can give.  Very happy customer!

You wont go wrong by hiring BCE. They upgraded our 30's panel and we were 100% satisfied. My husband used to work in electrical and he is really picky and he said that he couldn't have a better job himself.  Every wire was put in order neatly which you can appreciate and it will make our job easier for electrical work later on. Staff was hard-working & friendly. Most of the other electrical companies wanted to make me do the running around with the inspector and AEP... Not this company, they handled everything from start to finish. I literally didn't lift a finger. By far the best contracting company I have ever dealt with & you're supporting our local economy here in Cols. Neat, friendly, respectful, and a fair price!

The service tech was on time, which is always a plus. I had a transformer blown in my track lighting. Jason identified which type of transformer I needed. I asked him to grab two while he was there in case I ever needed another one. Luckily I did because one was dead on arrival. He replaced the transformer with the working one of the two and returned the other one for me at no charge. He swapped a couple of bulbs for me while he was there. Great service!
