Stafford Plumbing & Heating

Not sure why there aren't more positive reviews here. Just moved to NJ and know no one. Stafford Plumbing was recommended to me by someone who used them for years and swore by them. Had a issue with a leaking baseboard heater and needed some other work done as well. Jimmy (the younger of the father/son family run business) showed up and I assumed he'd just tackle the leak and we'd get to the other things another time. To my surprise, he repaired the leak, capped some other pipes that weren't being used, fixed my toilet, cut into a wall to fix another leak, and did it all with a smile on his face. Oh, and was VERY reasonably priced. I wish more businesses operated as honest and actually cared about the work as much as Stafford Plumbing. Highly, highly recommend.

I am writing this review because Stafford went above and beyond to help me with my project, and I highly recommend them. Stafford helped me with plumbing for a bathroom renovation, and they did an excellent job (even the other contractors working on the job commented on the quality of Stafford's work).  They are professional, responsive and always showed up on time.  Again, I highly recommend Stafford.

Recently, Mr. Stafford helped us with a septic issue we were having at our house. We couldn't figure out why our plumbing was backing up. We called them on a weekend and Mr. Stafford was at our home within the same day. He worked to ensure our problem was fixed that weekend. We have been using his services for years since he is local and trustworthy. He is always prompt with his service and always does a great job! Would recommend to anyone.

This is it!  Stop the search!  Stafford was highly recommended by several families on Cranford Facebook and we decided to call him since we wanted a radiator put in our family room and additional heat in our kitchen.  It was a great choice.  

Excellent communication throughout the process.  We were provided with different ideas and solutions.  No pressure and no upselling.  Stafford works with an excellent carpenter who provided the extra work of carving out the space for the recesses radiator.  The carpenter was so good we hired him for another bigger job in our house.  

The price was very reasonable and affordable.  Stafford completed the job very meticulously with no disruption to our home.   The entire team was polite, friendly, and excellent at their job.  We now have a guy who does plumbing and heating.  It's no secret why Cranford Facebook had highly recommended.

Stafford Plumbing is awesome! I have used these guys a few times and their workmanship and response to us was top notch. The workers were complete gentleman and were great explaining to my wife what our options were for correcting our issues. I felt completely at ease since i was not there and they were dealing with my wife. They gave us the best option and at a very reasonable price. I was referred to Stafford Plumbing & Heating by a close friend.  I needed to get a section of pipe replaced and new spigot installed on the exterior of my parents' home in Cranford since the current one froze over the winter and developed numerous leaks.  I contacted the office and was quickly scheduled for their plumber to visit the residence to inspect the issue and propose a solution.  Since I do not live in NJ, I was dealing with this over the phone.  Once Jim arrived and inspected, he contacted me to describe what was happening and proposed a solution that offered a great improvement to the current set up.  He provided an estimate at the same time and sent photos.  Just yesterday, he came to perform the work.  Since it took less time that he estimated, he actually reduced the cost of the repair!  Who actually does that?  I truly felt as though we had simply asked a trusted friend/family member to come over and help us out with this water leak repair.  Jim also sent photos to illustrate the work he had just performed.  Everything looked like a great improvement over the original design!  The best part is that he installed a frost free sillcock so this should not happen again!  I highly recommend you call Stafford Plumbing & Heating for all of your related needs.  They are knowledgeable, trustworthy, fair, communicative, and quality-driven.  They certainly take pride in their work and it shows!

0 integrity .  Took me for $400.00 by replacing a toilet top that never needed to be replaced , just adjusted. Sad company .  Please stay away

Not having to go to the store to get a gas tank refilled for our grill is life changing! Jimmy was able to schedule a time to come practically immediately in order to run a gas line directly from my home to my grill. He finished in no time and the price was so reasonable!  His charming personality was the icing on the cake.

There was a leak in our basement and due to the fact that it's the night before thanksgiving, we couldn't get ahold of anybody to help. We started to lose hope and panic while water continued to pool onto the floor. We looked up 24 hour plumbing and found Stafford. Thank the good Lord we did! They saved us. Lauren answered the phone right away and was very calm and sweet. She immediately put us on the phone with Jim and he walked us through what to do, step-by-step until we were able to fix the problem and get things under control. You guys saved us and saved our thanksgiving! I'd recommend them any day! You guys are the best :)

Had a great experience following a plumbing emergency. They were prompt in response, reasonable in price, and efficient. I would recommend and personally use them again.

I called Stafford plumbing two weeks after the mess from Ida to check the furnace at my elderly mother's house. They were the only one who returned my call and scheduled someone to come to look. I understand everyone was busy, but to not call back or recommend another company was upsetting and stressful. I was thankful that they did. Dave showed up on time in the pouring rain (again). He looked over the furnace thoroughly, and was honest when he said everything looks okay. Turned it on and everything was fine. He even looked at the hot water heater without me thinking about it or asking to make sure that everything was safe to use. I highly recommend using Stafford plumbing. They are my heroes and now my forever plumbing and heating company!
