I wanted to swap out the existing kitchen faucet in my apartment for one with a pull down hose. It's a small job and not urgent but I was eager to get it done. I'm glad I called Peral Piping. They scheduled me at the end of the day right after another job in the area so I didn't need to take time off from work. Once they got there, the guys went to work and bing bang boom... my faucet was installed. They cleaned up and went on their way as I admired my kitchen sink. I like that the dispatcher maintained contact with me before, during and immediately after. PP&H is accommodating, know what they're doing, tidy, and back their work with a guaranty. I'm pleased with the job. Their fee was fair and I would contact them in the future without hesitation.

The pump in my office pantry that pumps out waste water gave out. The plumber recommended by the building engineer wanted a crazy amount of money (kickbacks involved it seemed) so I made calls to a few other places. Some could not do the work because they didn't have the insurance requested by the building manager (we're talking about a midtown commercial office building). Star Cities sent a plumber over within hours and I got an estimate the next day (Friday) quoting a reasonable price. My only hesitation was that they wanted 75% of the price up front. I was concerned that I'd end up waiting around for a long while to get the work done if they were already paid that much in advance. Well, happily I was wrong. The same plumber was back exactly as they said (Tuesday) and got the job done right the first time. Also, Natasha is super pleasant to deal with on the phone. This was an all around great experience and I highly recommend this business.

Sal Jr. came to my house for a no heat call. He found the problem and replaced the part. He was on top of the project. He made us feel so comfortable while he worked. He had the best bedside manor, if he was a doctor, he'd would be at the top of his game. As a plumber, he IS at the top of his game, as a human being, he is the coolest, I can guess where he gets it from.
If you need a plumber, and you don't call this company, you made a mistake.

Contacted the Whippany person for service. We were
told they would be here between 10 and 12. It is now 3:20 pm. We have tried to contact them and left voicemails. No one had the decency to even contact us and let us know anything. We have no plan on having them come or ever calling them again for service. They called 326 told them not to come.

My main line drain was clogged. Called Zoom. Two young men arrived about a hour late. They attempted to clear my clog. Unsuccessfully. I told them they were in the wrong location. He informed me his experience led him to believe he was correct. It was not. After trying for about a hour. They gave up. And I was charged over 500.00 for absolutely zero results. I called the company and spoke to the owner. He said he would get back to me. I never heard from him again. The technicians informed me my pipes were collapsed. And the next step would be to excavate. Without any other type of inspection. Nothing could be further from the truth. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my pipes besides a clog. I ended up clearing it myself. My drain is working fantastic now. Don't waste your time. Call Roto Rooter or a local plumber. Do not waste your time or money with Zoom drain. Complete scam. I've learned a expensive lesson. These calls should call themselves Zoom Cash. Because that's all they did. Zoom with my cash and left me still with a clogged drain. Horrible service.

FIVE STAR SERVICE! Do not hesitate hiring this man. Jorge was prompt, very neat in his work, and went over and above what we asked for. He asked him to hang two large TVs and a soundbar. My wife came in the room and wanted a slight adjustment. Without hesitation, Jorge made it. He even snaked our wires through the wall. Aside from doing great work, he was incredibly friendly and funny. He also cleaned up and kept a tidy work area.

We had a small leak in the overflow drain of our attic bathtub that dripped through the ceiling below. When we were able to get Joe to come over to take a look he was very pleasant and personable. He inspected the plumbing for a few minutes before declaring it too old to repair. We would need to gut everything and replace it with a new bathroom. He quoted 30K to fully replace a small attic bathroom not including materials we had already purchased. The price was so high, we got a second opinion: it turned out the plumbing was not beyond repair but instead it was a minor problem (a leaking overflow drain) and it was repaired for a few hundred dollars. Joe and his son Mike were so nice i want to believe this was a mistake... For this reason i am giving 2 Stars instead of 1. You're welcome

I would give this company zero stars for the issues they have caused my dad... they did the job and my dad still has water leaking in the basement and they will not return his calls.....

DMC is actually working to resolve what seems like a defective furnace. We previously gave them a negative review thinking they were ignoring our emails. They have now returned and apologized for missing emails during an office personel restructure. We are keeping the faith in this small family owned business as they continue to resolve the issue.

My house has an old gas Weil-Mclain boiler. I did a search for plumbers who included this brand and that is how I found Bill Harz Plumbing. That was about 3-4 years ago. They have come a few more times when this boiler had some other issues after the first emergency steam valve and new auto water feed needed to be replaced. The night before the big 2020 December snowstorm hit, the boiler just stopped. I called BHP but they were already booed for the full.day and with the storm coming were not sure. But then, they called early afternoon and said someone was on the way. That was Alessio. Super friendly and like a surgeon. He diagnosed, explained what was going on and did his meticulous and thorough work to replace the boiler's thermocouple (which had burnt out and the gas pilot light could not engage).
Thanks Alessio and Bill Harz Plumbing for saving the day, coming with the snowstorm beginning and warming our house again! I highly recommend them!

Very unprofessional service. I paid $225 for an electricity check and report at our Manhattan apartment to assess the capacity for a ductless A/C installation. The electrician's report was never provided despite multiple requests over a period of weeks.

BEWARE OF POSSIBLE SCAM. I called a few plumbers and got quotes on the phone for a stopped drain. The office for Clinton Hill Plumbing & Heating quoted a flat fee of $175 and they were able to send a plumber out within an hour, so I hired them. Kevin, the plumber, fixed our drain, but when it came time to pay him, he said the price was double because he had to fix 2 drains to solve the problem, rather than 1. He also wanted me to pay him in cash or half cash/half check. I told him that that price wasn't what I was quoted, and he should have told me that it was going to be double before doing the work. He said the office doesn't know the prices and probably just gave me a ballpark. I wouldn't relent and he said I'm not going to argue with you and took a check for the original quote of $175. Also the name for the check is L & S Plumbing, not Clinton Hill Plumbing. He arrived quickly and fixed my drain quickly, but seems like he was trying to scam me to get more money. Beware.
