DMC deserves no stars. The heating unit in my house was clogged and needed a pipe cleaning.  Three people arrive to give an appraisal which was a good price, when first given. The three left to get some equipment to do the job, later which only two of the employees came back after two hours to retrieve this machine. After coming back, the two employees altered the price initially given to a few hundred dollars. We rejected their service and they demanded a $200 fee for coming and looking at the heating unit.

Ending up calling a friend, who took a look at the heating unit and fixed it for a quarter of the price that they demanded. All in all this company is a headache. DO NOT waste your time on them!!!

I was assigned them via my home warranty - American Home Shield . Looks like they have a home warranty scam going on . DMC told me I needed a part. For a week they did not submit the paperwork to the home warranty . 3 weeks and almost 30 phone calls later the work is still not done. Nobody provides an update on the availability of the part. If it doesnt get fixed in a week, I am going to call the state . There is insurance fraud going on here with the number of people that have home warranty and have had a problem with this contractor !!!!

This company is an absolute scam!! AHS referred them to us under our warranty. After intial diagnose we were told both AC condenser units plus the coil and a new furnace. They quoted 17k for labor alone. They refused to put it in writing and refused to call it into warranty company. They wanted a check on the spot.  Finally after weeks of trying to get this resolved they lied and said we need 17k of work because the dog peed in it. ofc this was after we said we didn't want to use them. We got a 2nd opinion for 13k which included everything without the warranty company. We have only been here 3 months there was no dog here! Insurance company denied the work!  I believe it's fraud!

Great Company, Great Staff, Highly Recommended. The moment the call was answered till when the technician arrived with manners, Respect and shoe covers. Gave me options to choose from and fixed the problem and left work site cleaner then before.

These people suck point blank. They just canceled my appointment after they said they were 2 mins away. They didn't even have the curiosity to call me and tell me they are not coming. I had to call AHS to find out. I waiting home all day for nothing. Horrible company very unprofessional. AHS assigned them to me. Don't bother doing business with these people.

My home warranty company set me up with this company to help with a noise that's been coming from my central air conditioning unit. I set an appointment for a Friday. Their time frames are from 12-6 they will call 30 minutes before. Ok fine. I took off of work to make sure I would be home if they were to come during the earlier half of this time frame. They never call and never show up. I call the office and now it's closed so I leave a message. I call them today asking about what had happen. The lady on the phone told me they canceled my appointment because they don't service my town... mind you I gave them my address when I set up the appointment with them a 5 days prior. Why did they not tell me I was not in their service area on the day they set my appointment. And why did they not call me prior to my appointment to let me know they were going to cancel so that I didn't sit home all day waiting for them !!! I feel as though this is awful customer service. I didn't even receive an apology... just that I should contact my warranty company for a new company .... just lovely how they treat people ...

I used DMC to install a new 50 Gal water tank based on the good review written here and conversation i had with the technician that gave me the quote.  They seem professional and honest, don't fall into the trap!  2 months after the installation i started having problems with hot water.  I own a multifamily and the technician never mentioned anything about gallon i should get for the new tank.  He told me if the current 50 gal tank is enough for all families that i should stick with 50 gal tank.  I was talking to other people who owns multifamily they all said i need at least 75 gallon for 3 family dwellings.  So long story short, couple months after the installation tenants complaint about insufficient hot water in the apartment.  So I called DMC for someone to come over and check.  The technician told me nothing is wrong with the tank so he moved up the temperature hoping the problem will go away but it didn't.  I was charged a service fee.  Two weeks later i called them again and reported the same problem.  I told them that this time i was not going to pay a dime as they never fixed the issue.  So they sent someone who i think is less experienced because he told me the same thing that the first person came.  He upped the temperature to C this time and left after being there for 5 mins and of course the problem didn't go away.  I called them again and this time they never responded.  So in conclusion don't use this company as they're unprofessional and inexperienced.  They tried to get away with mistakes they caused.

Ac unit was not working. They showed up and found the issue . Tripped circuit breaker. Then said we needed to replace the disconnect on the outside of unit and needed a recharge . This was all to be done with a home warranty company.  Told us it would be 300.00 to replace disconnect due to fact it was a safety hazzard.  Everything thing done and bill was over 800.00. Paid them because we were told nothing covered under home warranty.  Said we would get a receipt and to this day NOTHING. refuse to answer phone or return text messages. They also never sent reports to home warranty company.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.  They will take your money and never follow up. Home warranty company has also been trying to reach them because this should have been covered. STAY AWAY...

I put in a claim with my home warranty company who subcontracted DMC Plumbing. They came out to my home a month ago and said they will order the part and call back to schedule the repair.
Not only did they NOT call, they told the warranty company that the repair was complete so I had to open ANOTHER claim with the warranty company. I opened a claim AGAIN, still haven't heard from anyone, they are telling the warranty company that they cant reach me, meanwhile they never tried.
I've tried calling them many times and get a voicemail, left several messages with no response.
There's a reason why these people have such terrible reviews. Would not recommend.

It doesn't deserve any star.

I just needed rusted flu pipes replaced. DMC just aluminum wrapped everything, and was going to walk away, when I showed him the contract he wrote and had me sign:  REPLACE FLU PIPE.  

So with great reluctance, he replaced the pipes, aluminum wrapped all the joints and went home.  He used no screws.

A few weeks later, I called someone else to maintain my furnace, and as soon as he touched one of the flue pipes, it all collapsed.  Maintenance guy said whomever replaced my flu pipes clearly did a botched job.  Aluminum tape isn't going to hold it down, and we were at risk for carbon monoxide poisoning.

AVOID!!!!!

Absolutely clueless!  It was as if he never saw a water heater before.  If you're experiencing any problems avoid this company.  They are prompt and will come ASAP but will not do a thing and tell you to just replace the whole thing.

I couldn't have asked for a better company!! From Nick, Erick, Walter, William, Joe, and Tara in the office made it such a great experience. They were so helpful and so responsible. They replaced my furnace and air conditioner and did an unbelievable job!! These guys work very hard and as honest as can be. I am truly blessed and Grateful to have had such a nice competent group of people. Do not look anywhere else for any HVAC needs. They are above and beyond the best!!!!

I called another HVAC person and paid out of pocket to get the AC repaired . He also told me I did not need the part they guy nick said I needed. After reading all the other reviews I am going to call the state . I called DMC Plumbing and Heating yesterday to make a morning appointment.  Their technicians Sean and Kevin arrived on time this morning!  They were courteous, knowledgeable and professional.  They asked permission to enter my home and used shoe covers upon entering.  Diagnosed the problem with my cooling system and repaired it quickly.  I only review companies that I feel provided excellent service and didn't try to scam me by up charging for their services or repairs.  The were honest and explained the issue effectively.  I highly recommend them, especially Sean and Kevin.

You can't talk to anybody!!  2 days and unable to speak with a human.. just a machine.  How can they offer 24 hour service when you can't talk to anyone?

DMC is actually working to resolve what seems like a defective furnace.  We previously gave them a negative review thinking they were ignoring our emails.  They have now returned and apologized for missing emails during an office personel restructure.  We are keeping the faith in this small family owned business as they continue to resolve the issue.

I have used DMC on a number of occasions for a blocked toilet, a leak in my sink, an a/c problem and a problem with my laundry water supply.  I was able to get prompt appointments, even same day for the most urgent issues.  At all times they have been conscientious in ensuring that the work was completed properly.  Recently I had a problem, which initially appeared to be a plumbing related issue, and would have cost a considerable sum to fix.  After further diagnosis, they advised that the problem might in fact lie on an appliance and advised I should get the appliance checked first before spending a considerable amount of money on a potentially unnecessary plumbing repair.  I greatly appreciated the honesty and genuine desire to aid their customers that also saved me unnecessary expenditure.

DMC Plumbing, better yet Dan the owner has yet to come through on the half a** job one of his workers did.  After calling Dan to come & do a QA on the job he reluctantly says he will do the job & make it all better. Saturday comes & goes & after numerous attempts of trying to reaching him I get nothing. Not a phone call, email, explanation, it's now Sunday night & while Dan is probably sound asleep, I have no tub to take a shower in the morning to go to work to make money to pay the plumber...as the world turns.  Do I recommend DMC, absoulutely, NOT! If I could give minus stars I certainly would.... I will keep this review updated...

Really bad service!  I had an issue with my plumbing for my apartment building.  Called them, they sent a technician right away but he did not understand what was wrong.  He diagnosed the issue while talking to his boss on the phone.  He told me the pump was shot and said it'll cost $900+ to fix.  I then called my friend who is a plumber.  He found the issue quickly, a busted pipe, fixed it on the spot and charged me a small fraction of the cost.

I don't think sending out an inexperienced lad is good for business!

We needed several things done.. kitchen sink fixed, bathroom toilet checked, central air serviced, etc. The service person, Kevin, was great!! Professional and courteous and worked hard to make sure that our kitchen sink was in great working order. I didn't give 5 stars because it took too long to get a call back.  That is my only complaint, the service person was excellent and knowledgeable and we will use this company in the future!

Anyone that gives these guys a good rating is high as a kite or works for them.

Had a massive leak from a punctured radiator line, and left message for them. Here it is around 8 days later and I never got a call back from them.

Real reliable and responsive, guys.

If you need a plumber you cannot do better than DMC Plumbing and Heating!  Our bathroom sink and shower needed new faucets . Professional  company all the way. From estimate to completion. With prior notice they arrived on time, wearing masks ,supplies and ready to start. Our fixtures were over 40 yrs old and no one could stop that leak. Ours was not an easy job , but you would never know it by their attitude.  Two great guys who fully relay their company's message We are committed to offer excellent service and guaranteed satisfaction to our customers.  Thank you for a job well done and a bathroom that was left sparkling clean.

The gentlemen although nice and friendly was at my house for 5 minutes, told me the issue of me not having heat was the condensation pump but that my warranty wouldn't let him fix it and left. There is no such clause in my warranty. My husband replaced the pump but I still had no heat. A second company came out for another evaluation and fixed it. The first company said they couldn't help me but he was able to give us his brother number who owns an HVAC company and could fix it but it would be an after hours charge. Please stay far away from this company.

To fix a small leaking value which should have costed me only $124, I ended up spending $724.
- Had to spend $724
- They opened my bathroom walls
- Gave me a quote of $900 for fixing the leak
- They gave an additional quote of $4800 for replacing the entire plumbing which was not needed.

I trusted DMC as a professional company and called them for inspecting a water leak in my basement. This is a 35+ year old company and it was sad to see that the technician was not an expert. For every decision, he had to call his superiors for solutions who suggested solutions without even looking at the problem.
35+ year company technician didn't even have the basic tools like flashlight, proper wall cutting tool or Borescope camera.

The technician after inspecting the leak told me that the leak was due to a broken pike in the 1st floor bathroom and need to cut open the wall, after opening the wall he said to fix the leak I need to first fix the main water support and charged me $600 for doing it.
Later on, he said the leak was from the 2nd floor bathroom and need to break open the 2nd floor bath room. After opening the 2nd floor bathroom he said the leak in between the beams running between 1st and 2nd floor bathroom and told that the entire floor need to be opened(gave me a quote of $900) to fix it.
Later he suggested me to change the entire plumbing system instead of fixing only the leak, suggested me to change the entire plumbing for both the bathrooms. He quoted me $4800 for doing the complete change.
I felt something was suspicious and decided to give a look on my own, noticed that the leak was a small leak with the flush valve outside the wall(fix costed me only $124).
I would not recommend them to anyone, they speak very sweetly making you feel they are right. This will be my last encounter with DMC Plumbing and will never suggest them for anyone.
