Had a great experience with the company the owner took care of me personally and was very reasonable with the rate he gave me to fix my bathroom leak.. Considering I called as an ER. Will definitely use C&D for any other work I need done..

Building hired Eddie for a job to replace several water heaters and redo some venting and he was great.  It was a nice big job and he got paid and his guys did a good job...everyone's happy.

I call him back a couple of months later to come turn on a furnace in the same building.  Eddie was all friendly and says no problem, I'll be on it.  But nada, 1 week, i made a call almost each day to find out if he got to it yet and he said he would.  enough was enough, i straight up said why you give me the run around when you can't commit.  he then made an excuse i get 40-50 calls and it's 70 degree (when i was sub 60), blah blah.  Ok, i get it, it was a small job and i might be sensitive, but not once did Eddie call back to say he can't make it.  Each time it was me following up and each time he tried to play nice guy by saying he was on it, when he knew he didn't have the time.  Just be straight up man, i would have been ok if you were too busy.

Timely, masked, honest, did what he said he'd do.

Amazingly HONEST and friendly! My hot water heater started to leak. My house had 2 and the other one was working fine. Marty came out an hour after I called to take a look. He helped me to stop the leak and turn off the bad heater. Based on the size of the other and after a few questions, he said that just 1 was fine for my situation - we should let it run by itself over the weekend and test it.  When my water heater started to leak I figured I had a large bill coming, but instead he came out and saved me money!

Not sure why there aren't more positive reviews here. Just moved to NJ and know no one. Stafford Plumbing was recommended to me by someone who used them for years and swore by them. Had a issue with a leaking baseboard heater and needed some other work done as well. Jimmy (the younger of the father/son family run business) showed up and I assumed he'd just tackle the leak and we'd get to the other things another time. To my surprise, he repaired the leak, capped some other pipes that weren't being used, fixed my toilet, cut into a wall to fix another leak, and did it all with a smile on his face. Oh, and was VERY reasonably priced. I wish more businesses operated as honest and actually cared about the work as much as Stafford Plumbing. Highly, highly recommend.

He was amazing! First he communicated quickly and worked with me timing and was transparent about price. Then he actually arrived a bit early and gave me a heads up. The work was quick and he even told us some tips to keep the drains clean and clear. Would absolutely recommend

This company is my go to for all my plumbing needs. They are reliable, professional and trustworthy. The owner is very courteous and always listens to your concerns and is very accommodating. I had some plumbing problems at my home and was going through a tough time. They were will to work with me and took care of all my plumbing needs. Great price and outstanding service!

I first posted this review on another site right after the work was completed in December 2022. I want to add that every time we use our remodeled bathroom, we are so thankful that we used Nick and his crew to do the job. You may think it is just a bathroom and what is there to be excited about, but if you saw the before and now the after, you would not believe the magical transformation they did, turning coal into diamonds, so to speak. Here is my original review...
I wish there were more than 5 stars to give Montclair Plumbing and Heating, they are that good! We had a bathroom sink drain leaking from the pipe in the wall and needed someone who could come sooner than later. Being Christmas week, we were doubtful that we would be able to find someone. Nick from Montclair Plumbing and Heating responded the day we contacted him. Even though he was overbooked with jobs, he came that evening to assess what our needs were. It would either be a difficult job or a very difficult job, as I had expected. Thinking it would be weeks before he would find the time to do the work, Nick was able to squeeze us in right after Christmas. The pipe that was in the wall was basically disintegrated and had to be replaced. Nick cut open the wall, but only as much as he needed to in order to gain access to the pipe. Not nearly as much as I thought he would need to remove. After cutting the majority of the pipe, he snaked the remaining piece before replacing with PVC, a nice added touch. He put everything back together and the sink now works better than it ever did, as the drain is not only leak free, but is also now clog free all the way to the main. Nick left the work area spotless; so much so that you can't tell he was even there. We already have other work scheduled for Nick and his crew to do, including replacing the bathroom tub and shower.
Now to add to the review regarding the bathroom:
We had a fiberglass tub and shower wrap around. The tub had cracked underneath and was all rusty inside so we had to use a tub mat. The floor underneath the tub area had rotted in some spots and needed to be replaced. The vanity was in bad shape too. So we initially were just going to have the tub and vanity replaced, along with getting new floor tiles after the under-floor was repaired.
FORTUNATELY Nick suggested we consider additional improvements, all the time saying he would do whatever we wanted and put no pressure at all to do anything more. However, after considering his suggestions, we elected to basically do the entire bathroom. Nick included so many upgrades, but at prices that were almost too good to be true. Rather than another fiberglass tub that I had wanted, we went with the steel tub Nick recommended and I am so glad we did. Just as an example, there are 3 different quality steel tubs of the same brand, each with a different warrantee. The one Nick put in was the best, with a lifetime warrantee. He used Moen fixtures and a Kohler toilet, but again, the better models of them.
We picked out the floor and wall tile from a tile store Nick recommended, which was very nicely priced for high quality tiles.
There were a lot of problems along the way with the original construction causing issues with the remodel. The type of things you cannot see until you do the demo. Regardless, Nick and his crew still finished on time and within budget. I might add that the total cost was much less than other estimates we had received over a year ago, and those were not including the better products Nick used.
So this is why, every time we go into the bathroom, we are so thankful that we chose Montclair Plumbing and Heating to do this work. I highly recommend Nick and his crew for all of your plumbing needs. Thank you Nick!

Thank you so much for quick service at an amazing rate.  The technician, Ome was very polite and took care of the problem in record time. Father & Son Plumbing will be the only company I call for my plumbing needs.

I am writing this belated review because today I just contacted ClearFlow for yet another job.

Summer 2015:
My underground water line burst and was dripping water into my neighbors basement. The local water company(SUEZ)  threatened to turn off  water to my 2 family home unless I got the line fixed asap.

I found ClearFlow on HomeAdvisors.com. I emailed them late evening and Mr Rolando replied immediately(via cell and text) He came over the next day to inspect and evaluate.  
Mr. Rolando (project manager) outlined everything that had to be done and what He was going to do: obtaining city certificates, hired policeman, step up street signs to close street. sub-contracted sidewalk concrete guys, street paving guys, excavation guys, plumbing guys. We agreed on a date and I did not have to do anything else but be home.  All the trucks arrived EXACTLY at 8AM.
They started work non-stop except for lunch and finished everything the same day and cleaned up all debris in front of my house by 4PM  

The SUEZ water company showed up to turn my water off a few days later thinking the work had not started, Mr. Rolando and I happened to be in front of my house when he showed up to prove it to him it was already completed.

I contacted ClearFlow a few weeks later to replace all the turn-wheel  water valves in my house with lever types so I can turn off only what I wanted versus turning off water to the whole house. Again , Mr R kept me informed even though he was on vacation by e-mail and text , I was given a quote, we agreed on a price and they came and replaced (welding and solder work) in about 2 hours in the evening.

Clear-Flow tested everything before they left in both jobs.
They are expensive but you get what you pay for and the work is professionally done. You don't have to do anything but agree on a price , get out of the way and let them do their job. Worry-Free.

NEVER deal with this company. They are a privately run company that runs a ver shady operation. I have been customers with Slomins and Petro and never have I experienced such lack  of professionalism like Approved Oil. They charge you current market price for oil deliveries that you never ask for and they never give you all the information when you sign their contract. Stay away from them...especially their Sales people like Frank!!

Continental did an excellent job.  I called them to clean out some of my drains.  They were very accommodating, showed up on time, and were polite and neat. I Will definitely use them again.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!  No showed twice with no warning, very unprofessional. When you try to call the cell number provided, there is no answer and a full voicemail.
