This was our first time with Apple Valley Plumbing and couldn't be happier with the outcome. Replaced a leaking valve in 20 minutes. Will definitely be calling them with future plumbing needs.

We have used Madetzke and Gust three times. We have had a tankless water heater, new sink, new water shutoff, ice maker line, and gas stove. Amazing service. Always on budget. Curious. I would and do recommend to everyone. If you need a plumber look no further.
2263 Mcknight Rd N, Unit 3, St. Paul, MN 55109
Lange's Plumbing & Heating have provided us with superior service for years. Jim and his crew have been quick to respond to our needs, efficient in their work and always priced fairly. It would be easy to take advantage when there is no heat in the middle of a cold Minnesota winter or suddenly you find your hot water heater has failed........they simply respond like professionals.
Fast, fair, friendly and with the quality workmanship we need. For us it is Lange's Plumbing and Heating!

A four-generation family business that's reliable, friendly, and quick. We got an appointment right away when others had weeks-long waiting lists. John and Paul are a great team and even course-corrected when a different carpenter messed up. And Mrs. Hovde was gracious when I lost the invoice! I hope we don't need their services again, but they'd be my first call if I did. Thanks, John!

Trent went above and beyond what I expected and in the end, he ended up saving me $300. He was honest and upfront with his opinion on the work I requested, and actually refused to do what I originally called for, as it would be more than what was needed and could potentially damage the main drain line.

Everyone at Neighborhood Plumbing were so helpful and kind. Micheal went above and beyond customer services. Very knowledgeable and taught me a few things regarding up keep as well as plumbing in general. Thank you both for an outstanding job well done.

Take a look at Michael S's review of Aqua City Plumbing. Mine is VERY similar. This took place when my daughter and I both lived in Minneapolis (a few years ago).
Aqua City Plumbing (and Dave the owner in particular) is a classic example of a business that takes advantage of people who need plumbing work done NOW, and who trust that they will get an honest and competitive price. Not the case with this company. Others have noted that Aqua City will NEVER give an estimate over the phone (not even a rough ballpark figure). And they charge about $79 just to come out to give an estimate. What kind of business is that? But people who have an Aqua City magnet on their refrigerator or phone book (like my daughter) still fall for this scam. In my daughter's case, they came out and gave her a $700+ estimate to replace two shutoff valves on either side of the water meter. She didn't know how much work was involved, and one valve connection was dripping on the basement carpet, so she accepted. The work took about 1.5 hours. I called later to complain about the outrageous charge, and I told Dave that the valves cost no more than $20 each. I asked him how he came up with the $700+ price, and he basically told me that it was none of my business. He said that my daughter accepted his price quote, so he did nothing wrong. I told him he took advantage of her trust, her lack of plumbing knowledge, and her desperation to get the leak fixed. I also told him I contacted two other plumbers, and they DID give me an estimate over the phone. Both estimates were between $200 and $300. My message: Check out reviews before choosing a plumber, and don't just refer to the magnet on your refrigerator. If my daughter would have done this, she would not have called Aqua City Plumbing to begin with.

They've helped us out a couple times with leaking, corroded valves. The plumbers and scheduling staff are friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. Well done! Much appreciated!

I called a few companies and Barnes said they could fix our kitchen faucet a day later than I'd hoped, but still within the week. Sad to say, the guy showed up to fix the faucet and first said his office hadn't said anything about a faucet. Then he said he didn't have parts but that I could hunt down the parts myself, or that he could sell me a new faucet starting at about $300. He blamed their very nice secretary for not asking me enough questions. They don't stock the parts (they only carry parts for 2 brands, not even including Kohler). I'm disappointed, and hope that others have a better experience.

I had Blaylock do a sewer pipe replacement a few years ago, and they did a fantastic job, however today I called for another big repair job, and spoke with Jenny Blaylock, who was rude, condescending to the point that I could not even communicate with her...told her I would call someone else. Too bad after having a great experience the first time. Not worth it to be treated so awful.

Total rip off and just not nice people. They came to look at AC unit. Added coolant without checking with us. Total bill for this: $500. Over $400 of it is labor AND truck charge. The best part was I told them I wanted a second opinion as to whether we needed a new unit. Not to fix a broken unit. Still I get it that the technician needed to put coolant in but I am still stunned at the cost of it.
Do yourself a favor and avoid a headache. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!

After calling another local plumber and leaving an email and them not getting back to me, I called Dad's plumbing and talked to a real person who said they would have the plumber call me back soon, he called within thirty minutes, told me where he was and about how long to get to my place, and got right to work. Friendly, easy to talk to, and good at explaining what he was doing and why. He and his comrade fixed the drainage issue and got my kitchen back to working order for the upcoming holiday. I would highly recommend them, even if he would not have been able to come to quickly, he called back right away and let me know his situation in conjunction with mine, that is good business, and he cares about customer service!

Bunch of liars who with hold pay checks and don't hold to their promise of hours and guaranteed pay.

No idea of the quality of this service as they never showed up for my scheduled tune up appointment. I waited over 2 weeks for an appointment and when the person didn't show up I called them. First I was told I had the wrong date. I did not have the wrong date. They called me back and said they had to reschedule my appointment but had FORGOTTEN TO CALL ME. We had cleaned out the furnace room and were awaiting the results of the inspection to determine if we could do another home improvement or if we'd need a new furnace in the near future. They REALLY caused problems for us by doing this! I wouldn't waste my time with this company as they are obviously unreliable and have little concern for anyone's schedule other than their own. There are better providers out there who will put their customers first.

Made an appointment with this company the said they were booked out for 11 days. Jim Anderson called way past his appointment time of 8 AM at 10:30 am saying he was having trouble with his truck and he would be here in a hour. Jim arrived around noon and he says he needed a longer hose and a permit from the city and that he would be back this afternoon. Jim never came back or called .So I Called the city and he hadn't got the permit or every been there. I left a message for him after 4 pm and he never called back. Jim finally calls the next day and says his pump is broke and he would call when it was fixed. I told him no thanks and we would find someone else. We called a different sewer Co. and they came out the day same.
