Great job. On time. Friendly. Fair. I would definitely recommend them.

Overall, I think they did a decent job and charged a fair price for a small repair. Based on my experience, I would proactively confirm your appointment the day of service to make sure they actually show. If you want the full story behind that recommendation, please see below.
I called several plumbing companies at the beginning of this week for a sink issue. Most has voicemail and didn't call me back. King's helper made an appointment for the end of the week. I'm guessing since it was a non-emergent small job, it's not the most exciting to service companies. They were supposed to come late morning, but I hadn't heard anything by 11:30AM, so I gave them a call. They said they called me 2-3 times in the morning, but didn't get through, and filled their time with other customers. I didn't have any missed calls or voicemails, and it was never made clear that the appointment would be canceled without making contact the day of. I indicated I didn't have missed calls, so they said they would add me to the end of the work list for the day. They did manage to get to my house mid-afternoon and compete the repair. The plumbers that showed were nice, and I felt the price was fair for the work they did.

Anytime I have had a plumbing problem, they have been my go-to plumbers. Lane Robinson is very thorough and very knowledgeable. They don't overcharge.

Chris came out again, changed a shower faucet and after too many months, I finally can take a hot shower. Can't recommend Chris and Johnny Pipewrench highly enough for their excellent service. Maureen Tarpey

Excellent!! I 100% recommend this team! They were able to come out quickly to resolve my problems! They did so with professionalism, educating me on preventative measures, and were very reasonably priced. I will definitely have them back for my future pluming needs.

Scheduled a day and time for crew to fix a minor issue and after several hours of waiting beyond the scheduled appointment time, I called and was assured crew would come after a certain part arrived...they never showed nor has anyone reached out to schedule another appointment let alone offer any type of explanation, not that I need apologies or explanations, just show up when you're supposed to. I guess I'm old fashioned but once you commit to doing a job, the honorable and right thing to do is see it through and this company did not do that, not even a call to reschedule. A disappointing experience overall.

This company accepted a reuest for service from my mother's home warranty company for a slow draining toilet. She was notified via email on 7/27 that Robert Wallace had accepted the request for service, she was given a service request ref # and advised that she would be contacted within 12 hours. They gave her Robert Wallace's telephone number and advised her to call him direct if she was not contacted within 24 hours to set up and appointment.
After 24 hours and no response, my mother as directed called Robert Wallace and got no answer and a recording stating that the voice mailbox is full and she could not leave a message. Called back 48 hours later ..no answer and mailbox full....Called back 72 hours later and Robert Wallace answers the phone advises my mother he will make the service call no later than 12 noon on 8/1 (6 days after accepting the job - which is surprising for a plumber whose Web sites dedicates an entire page that boasts quick 24 hours a day service). He did not take her information down but instead asked her to text him her address. She texted him her full name, her phone number, the full address and written directions on how to get there. She also texted the home warranty info for the job he accepted. Robert Wallace did not even acknowledge that she did what he asked but her texting phone app did confirm that he got them. That was 7/30, she sent the info again on 7/31 - still no response but was confirmed received.
Today 8/1 my mother (who is 80 years old BTW) sent a text confirming again that they had a service appointment scheduled for today by noon. Robert Wallace did not respond to this text either. During this same 6 day period there were also 12 attempts to call him, all went unanswered, all unable to leave a message because of the full mail box and none of these calls were returned. I even called another number that this company has listed as a contact number on the Porch Web site but that number has been disconnected.
Finally at 2PM today it was obvious that Robert Wallace had missed his by 12 noon service call and I texted him and explained that I took the day off to be here to help explain to Robert Wallace the plumbing issue my mother was having and that I just needed an update as to whether he would be able to make the appointment or not and received no response. I then sent an email directly through jazz E
Web site and I also got no response from the email.
I decided I would check on this companies reviews. Well there are 4 stars on one site , great until you see that 3 are from the same period and are the only reviews these consumers ever left, which one learns to take with a grain of salt, one really bad one star rating from a consumer that has had the same kind of experience that we have had with Robert Wallace Plumbing. What I found most telling about this company was that Robert Wallace responded directly to this consumer basically saying Sorry about your luck but we don't offer the service you requested, never have and then advised them to call there home warranty company and take it up with them. The problem with that is it is a lie. The service the customer had requested was leak detection and although Robert Wallace states that they don't do that and never have, the truth is that they advertise that on their very own website that they do leak detection, they advertise on the national plumbing referral site PORCH.com that they do leak detection.
My next step was to stop by their offices, but the company with a website filled with technical data, rambling pros in a blog dedicated to the plumbing industry and online gauges showing the breakdown by percentage of their business services, is in reality a small brick house in a residential neighborhood out by the interstate. So I guess no luck in getting the ear of a sympathetic receptionist to get my service call going.
So it's almost 6PM . It has been a week now and no response, no email, no call back, no service, NO EXCUSE. . So as a son, I hate to see my 80 year old mother have to endure this type of service. She has her hands full caring for my 81 year old post stroke father.. so if the time it took to write this review and make a report to the BBB helps just one other consumer avoid this nightmare, then it is worth the time it took to write it.
Post Note: After writing this this review, i made one last attempt to reach Robert Wallace Plumbing. I emailed Robert Wallace a copy of my review and offered another chance to make this good. Everyone can have a bad week. We'll I finally got a response from Mr. Wallace. Actually within minutes. His response was he denies ever accepting the job and then he blamed the warranty company and then threatened to sue me for slander if I posted my review. It is not slander when it's the truth.

I found the number for Apex through Yelp because at the time they had a good rating. My mom had no water during the two days of 10 below weather we had and she needed to have someone come and take a look and see where the problem was. Well they came out and stayed close to 6 hours and did nothing but put a little spray insulation around an outside faucet and a little heater under the house. He still did not know where the problem was but told her that all the pipes under the house were warm. He stated that the problem was probably between the water meter and the house. It was 9 pm at this point so he had to leave for the night with the heater and left her with a $600 bill!!!!!! Well at this point the problem was not located or fixed.
We called the water department the next day to have them come check the meter to make sure it wasn't froze up there, which it was not and was working fine. 2 WEEKS LATER she still had NO WATER and the weather was warm enough it should have thawed out. My mother called a neighbor that she remembered that used to do this kind of thing for a living and he came up to take a look. He crawled under the house and found that her water had been shut off!!! He turned it back on and she had water immediatley. Apex was intending on coming back to fix her problem and charge her more money!!
I am extremely angry that this happened to my mother. She is elderly and obviously this is why she was taken advantage of!

We had contacted H20 due to blockage in our main lines and our daughter had a membership with them (keep this in mind). They were able to fit us in the next day and showed up in a timely manner. That's about as good as it gets!
They removed our toilet (now wobbly) to run the standard snake and unclogged the line. It was TEMPORARY he had just flushed enough water and moved the snake around for a quick fix. What he failed to do was run the snake fully to insure that there was no debris in the lines.
Now after they finished we left for Australia due to a death in the family and arrived back home 3 weeks later, and was welcomed by BLOCKED PLUMBING.
After a 599.00 bill and the problem was still there we decided to call a local company Kings Plumbing Paris Ky.
They jump right in pulling the toilet off and run the snake, same model as H20 and blockage was gone BUT they brought up the vines that was blocking our main line! COST $185.00
I literally had to ask twice are you sure it's not higher?!?!?! Nope that's it he said.
We got the email from H2O to pay our bill and my husband called to discussed with them that the service they provided didn't fix the issue the company come back with a discount of $149.00
So....
Total $599.00
Coupon $50.00. But members are to get 20% nope not this time.
Total $549.00
- 149.00 Because it wasn't fixed
New Total $400.00 unsure what the charge is for as they hadn't unclogged our plumbing?!?!

they charged my senior and veteran parents $1680 to replace and install a gas water heater!!!! it only cost 500 at Lowe's. when we called to discuss why it cost 1100 installation, they wouldn't give an answer other than saying it was a flat rate. not only that, the service man had them write a check out to himself!!!! when I called the company to find out what was up with that, they said it was fine. THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF AND TAKES ADVANTAGE OF ELDERLY PEOPLE!!! DO NOT USE THEM
