Best Electricians in Colorado
Jim and Brian were fabulous! We had many contractors come out and give bids and 4a electric was the only company I would work with. They are very knowledgeable, professional, came early and worked late, completed the project on budget and to code. They were the only contractors we worked with that cleaned up everything, thank you for doing such a great job!

Darren and Jeff came to install a ceiling fan on a high sloped roof. This was a difficult and involved installation, but they showed up on time, worked clean, fast and friendly! Worked with us to determine exact location.
It was necessary to schedule a second visit to finish the installation as we had to order some other parts. Again they showed up on time and did a great job! I would give this company my highest recommendation!

I have dealt with electricians in many cities and many jobs big and small and this is the first time I have felt compelled to leave a review. I was referred to Joe by word of mouth and was not disappointed. Not only did Joe himself respond quickly but he was able to diagnose and fix the problem with a very deserving 5-star service all with me asking him an endless amount of questions that he answered, all without complaint. Then when he told me the cost I was blown away, and when I paid him and thanked him I asked him why his pricing was so reasonable and customer service so great he humbly replied, I am in this business to serve people, not get rich, this job is all about service. That statement told me all about what I needed to know about Joe's business plan and his character as well. If I had to sum up one word to describe Joe and his business practices it would be Trustworthy I implore you to make Joe's Electric the first number you call for all your electric needs.

I'm kind of split on how to review 1st Choice Electric. I called them out to add some above-counter outlets to a basement bar project I am working on. They were initially very quick to respond, and exceeded my expectations on the first part of the job as far as quality and cost were concerned. Once the wiring was ran and the outlet boxes installed in the wall, we needed to wait for the cabinets, countertops, and backsplash to be completed before they came out to install the actual outlets and run the line for an outlet at the end of the bar. I was so impressed with their work, and the fact that they came well under their bid price, that I decided to go ahead and pay the full balance, even though the job wasn't technically complete. Big mistake on my part. Now the bar is complete except for the electrical, and I have been trying for a week to reach Mat (one of the owners, and the person I was dealing with) to schedule the last steps, to no avail. I have tried calling (left a voicemail) and emailing him, and even have yet to get a response to an email I sent to the company's email address. I'm not in a huge hurry to finish (although I am looking forward to being done), I just want them to at least respond with an idea on when we can get it done, and also to know they didn't stiff me. I guess the one good thing is that I saved enough that I can have another electrician come out to finish the job they abandoned, and still not go over budget.

I have been a repeat customer of Bru and Landon's for 6 years. They are hands down the best electricians I've ever hired. Fair, honest and smart!
I highly recommend them.

Spectrum Electric is the best! From the first phone call to installation, they were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and a joy to work with. If we could give them 10 stars, we would!

Paul was on time, completed the work promptly and the price charged was exactly as quoted by phone.
He was the most reasonable quote I received after calling many local companies. This was a simple job to disconnect the thermostat and power to a roof fan. One company wanted to charge a $68 fee just to come out and then quote a price for the work once on site!
I definitely will call on Executive Electric for any future needs and this is the company I will recommend to friends!
Thank you Paul!

We hired Frank to handle the electrical work for our basement finishing project. Prior to hiring him we did quite a bit of research on what needed to be done and even considered doing the work ourselves. Thus, we knew what the scope of the project was and what to expect. The short answer is that Frank has been fantastic and has met or exceeded virtually all of our expectations. We're almost through the rough-in phase and we're extremely glad that we hired him. His communication has been excellent, the quality of work and attention to detail is top notch, and he's been very proactive with consulting us to ensure everything is installed the way we want. We're looking forward to finishing the project, but in the meantime it's a pleasure having Frank working at our home. Highly recommended!!!

I can't say enough about how happy we are with Jason's work. First off, he actually called us back! Can't say the same about some of the other top rated electricians in the area. We had an old Federal Electric panel and subpanel that we wanted to have replaced in our newly purchased (old) house for piece of mind. He was personable, able to schedule the work in a reasonable amount of time and the charges were very fair. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking an electrician. We'll certainly use him again in the future should the need arise. Look no further - this is the guy!

The owner electrician came promptly, was there when scheduled. He quickly completed the work. I highly recommend him and his company. Overall, a great job!

Paul was tremendous as well as his employee Zeke. We wanted two ceiling fans installed into rather difficult ceiling set-ups. They showed up on time, explained all that was involved, took care of installing all and cleaned up the mess. Their attitudes were exceptional and I would certainly go to Paul with any electric needs. Paul and Zeke are most capable and just a joy to work with. Thank you!

Jerry has done all of the electrical work at my last three homes. He's straight forward and always tells me when we should do what I want. Then helps me figure out how to get what I need, but do it right. I feel comfortable knowing that when he's done, the work is right, safe and at a fair price. I have never had issues with his work an he has corrected a lot of things other electricians have done wrong. I highly recommend him.

Great, friendly service from Chris with Mile-Hi. I foolishly thought I could install a new four way light switch and ended up messing up the circuit. Our weekday availability is pretty limited, but fortunately Chris was able to set up a Saturday visit to fix my mess. Not only that but he helped me install a wifi light switch, and even walked me through how to require the old switch if we have problems.
Chris was super friendly and professional, and I'd definitely recommend Mile-Hi to others.

Wow. We needed to have a new outbuilding wired and could not have been more pleased with Juniper Mountain Electric. Their price was extremely reasonable, Jake is awesome. the crew was on time, efficient, and super nice. I would JME to anyone needing electrical work and I know that we will use them again. I wish every contractor was like them!

The Fixer, Nate, was very pleasant, resolved my issue, and I would gladly work with him again.
Jayme, who discussed billing with me, did not convey there was a 1-hour minimum charge until after the work was completed. This led to a surprise bill for a 15 minute visit that should have been a quarter of the cost. After expressing my concerns, he reduced the price by 50%, which is still a up-charge of 100% given the information he provided me and the services rendered. I would expect better customer service for a mistake he made, i.e. not conveying the 1-hour minimum before booking the appointment. I would not work with Jayme again.
----------
UPDATE:
For context, below is the message that they claim conveys a required 1-hour minimum of service:
The clock starts once your Fixer arrives. The assessment usually takes 5 mins. within the first hour of service. Then your Fixer will advise how long it will take to complete this task. We charge $119/hr prorated to the minute after each hour of service.
The after each hour of service is what is vague and confusing. It should have said something like: there is a minimum one hour charge of $119; any additional time beyond 1 hour is billed at $119/hr, prorated to the minute.

Modern.
Do you how difficult it is to find modern stuff in Denver?
We are not a cow town, but our furniture business is dominated by traditional or as I call it: Jake Jabs' junk.
I received a warm welcome when I stopped in here and two different people gently asked me if they could help me. I said No as I just wanted to wander around and look.
I saw lots of lighting fixtures that were very attractive to me.
Prices are on the high side. But, I need to get out my IKEA rut.

Courtesy Electric was contracted to install the electrical system in our home when it was built in 2011. Through the year of post-delivery home warrantee, Courtesy Electric was brought back out to resolve electrical issues with the home by the home builder. After that warrantee time expired, though, they apparently have ceased all support for any home outside of warrantee, although they won't tell you that until after they have promised to return calls and don't, after you finally get them to commit to sending out an electrician and then they don't show up, and after you call yet again to question why no one showed up for their appointment. Don't bother calling Courtesy Electric for an electrician - they won't show up.

We had a very difficult time with Azteca Electrical. We paid him in full and his receipt
said the work was up to code. Unfortunately, the arc fault breakers did not pass. He refused to come up and fix them. We had to pay another electrician $800.00 just in parts for a subpanel box and for breakers to fix the issue. It took them 1 1/2 days to fix the arc fault box and prevent tripping in the house. If you use this electrician be aware that he doesn't fix his code violations and I would withhold the final check until it passes inspection. Be careful and understand what you are getting into with him. He will give you a cheap price, but you'll end up paying someone else to finish it for him.
There is another electrician that we used named Galaxie Electric that was really good and honest. He is a hard working guy named Chad out of the Denver Metro area. I give him 5 stars. He is honest and is outstanding as an electrician. It is easier to work with an honest person like Chad who really cares about your house and the quality of the work done. Avoid headaches and hire someone that will help you out at a reasonable price. I was really impressed with Galaxie!
