Best Electricians in Colorado

When we needed to upgrade our electrical wiring to support EV charging, Mark (Block Electric) was the clear winner. Very professional and provided a smart solution that saved time and money. We recently moved to Colorado and can now check the box for our go-to electrician. Highhly recommended.

I had a great experience with Darrell and Top Shelf Electric from start to finish. I had two new fans installed, one of which was being put where there wasn't a pre-existing fan. They were extremely flexible with schedules and even came back without any issues when the first fan was not functioning and replaced it (fan issue not an electrical issue). I would highly recommend Darrell and Top Shelf Electric!

Mark did work in my Durango West II home. When I called and left a message he responded the same day, was available the same week, showed up on time, communicated well before and after appointment, was super friendly and did excellent work. I recommend him 100%!

Retired elderly couple mystified by all things electrical was impressed by the prompt courteous and knowledge of Joel our electrician, he walked us thru every step with a normal and easily understandable description of the work to be performed. We are   very happy with all aspects of the of this service We would highly recommend it.

Our AC went out last night and we got lucky to find that Frank had a last-minute opening in his schedule and was able to come take a look today. He was courteous, right on time, and very thorough. Was able to fix our AC in under an hour and left us with a helpful assessment of lower priority issues he noticed that we'll need to fix at some point to avoid future breakdowns. We definitely recommend him and would be happy to work with him again the future!

Outstanding customer service! Bryce and Mike handled our electrical issues quick and efficiently.  They explained the issues.  Both gentlemen were courteous,friendly and professional.  I would HIGHLY recommend South Paw Electric!!

We needed a pendant light fixed but Michael convinced us that it might be better to replace them.  He responded right away, has very fair prices, and is very knowledgeable.  Just a note:  since he is so good he is in high demand and sometimes might be 2 or 3 weeks out.

Josh installed power for some electric blinds we were getting installed. He spent a large amount of his time between coming out to give an estimate, working with the provider to ensure what he installed would work with their technology, etc. The install went smoothly and he did a great job. I highly recommend Josh and Alisha.

I had a new microwave installed last fall. It kept blowing fuses. Another electrician that was recommended by a neighbor came to fix it. He did not fix it the first time, had to come back a second time, and I was charged for two service calls and it was still not fixed!

Then I called Tony at A&B electric and they came out to fix it. They said that it needed more power and they had to rewire it back to the circuit breaker.
They arrived right on time, were, very professional and polite, and went the extra mile to provide excellent service. While they were working in my basement, they changed the old fluorescent light bulbs for me. I had also cut an Electrical cord while I was trimming my hedges, and They spliced it and fixed it for me. It was a $50 cord and so I really appreciated it.
Then they checked out a electrical outlet in the garage it was not working. They said it was a quick fix and that they were not going to charge me for it.

When they had finished running the wire from the electrical panel, through the crawlspace, through the basement, and up to the kitchen, it looked like it had been built-in all along. They were very meticulous about the installation and it really looked great. They cleaned up well after themselves, and explain to me in detail the work that they had done.

After the A&B Team of electricians left, Tony called me to make sure that everything came out OK, and to tell me that I had a two year guarantee on all of their work, and to call them with any electrical issues that I had.

I will use A&B electric for all my electrical work in the future, but I would also recommend to always get licensed and insured electricians, rather than someone that advertises in a community paper or website. If I had called Tony At A&B in the first place I would not have had to pay for two service calls that did not resolve any of my electrical issues.

A&B did top quality work, were priced well, and were very Professional. Everyone on the team was a licensed electrician and well trained and their work reflected that.

What can I say about ZAE Electric, other than Zach you are awesome!  You take great pride in the work you do and it shows.  The price you quoted for the entire electrical upgrade was reasonable.  Your work was clean, you were careful, patient, and were willing to teach and allow me to ask question and help you out with the electrical installation. A few other contractors I reached out to in the estimation process gave off a vibe that the job was going to be a burden, but not you.  You arrived when you said you were going to and stayed late to get to a stopping point, or finish the job entirely.  I will continue to recommend you to anyone that needs to have a new electrical installation, remodel, or just to have trouble-shooting of their electrical system.

Joe answered right away at 8am on a Friday. He was able to fix my issue over the phone at no charge. He educated me on how my house was built so I could fix the issue in the future. There aren't a lot of people left out there that aren't trying to nickel and dime you but Joe was considerate of our time and money. We will definitely use him for future electrical needs.

We hired Denver Electric for a new 240V feed in the garage.  The estimate was very fair, the electrician was right on time, and they explained the options very clearly.  The finished project was very clean, totally hidden, and looked as new as the house.  The final invoice was exactly as expected, and the work was great! Would highly recommend Denver Electric for household and commercial jobs.

William was responsive to a last-minute call. He is a very skilled professional electrician who approaches the job with honesty and integrity.

Wish I could give zero stars, as this was the worst experience we have ever had with a subcontractor, and we have built 3 homes. Just had a list of 5-6 items to be repaired that were noted on an inspection for our home sale. Brian quoted me his price over the phone, and I said ok. He came on the agreed date with 2 other electricians. They said everything was done, great. His guys knocked over a driveway marker and went off the driveway on way out, and I texted him. He said fine, he would knock $5 off the bill (they cost me $8, but whatever). I have attached pic of that. Right after they left, our waterfall stopped working. I notified him and he came back out and said the pump was bad. I said that was an unfortunate coincidence, but okay. Then a week later we had a guest who tried to charge her phone on one of our south kitchen outlets, which we rarely use. It obviously worked before they came out, because the inspector inspected every single outlet. Brian accused me of somehow lying about this, and at that point became very aggressive and angry. This was all captured via texts, which I have attached here. We had no other phone conversations after their initial visit. He filed an Intent to Lien against us on October 26, even though our bill was marked due by November 3. I never said I was not going to pay him. I filed a complaint against him with the BBB, and he responded by lying about every. single. thing. Said I was infuriated over the driveway marker, lol. I paid his bill, just to get this joker out of our lives. He is the worst, do not use unless you enjoy angry drama from a guy with a lot of issues. Pics of our text thread attached.

We had a GFCI outlet go out in our garage and it resulted in numerous outlets in our home also without power. Radiant electric was quick to respond when I requested a quote and was available the next day to take a look at things. The problem was corrected and he offered multiple options/solutions along the way so we could make the most efficient and affordable choice for our need. Pricing was very fair and reasonable.

Bryan and his team were awesome. I had a fairly small job but one we were looking to complete for a few months with no luck. I needed some recessed LED lighting and switches installed in two bedrooms, wiring for ceiling fans and some receptacles updated. Bryan responded immediately to my phone call and was over to the house the next day to provide me with a quote. His price was very reasonable, he was flexible with materials (I had already bought some that they were able to use) and he was able to get me scheduled quickly.

I had been toiling with unreliable contractors for months on a number of projects around our new home. It was such a breath of fresh air to find a true professional who arrived when he said he would, provided a reasonable quote in a timely manner and got the job done quickly and on budget. I cannot recommend Bryan and his team highly enough. It was really reassuring to meet a true professional who was a pleasure to work with. Trailhead electric will absolutely be my first phone call when I have electrical needs in the future.

Was good at responding to initial inquiry. He answered my questions and gave me price based on my description of the work. Obviously I'm not a professional electrician, so we set up an appointment for him to come by my house between 11am-1pm on Monday. I received a call around 11:45pm saying he's not going to be able to make it on Monday. And asked if we could reschedule for the same time on Tuesday. I said yes even though that meant taking more time off work for another appointment.

He showed up on time and was polite. I showed him the project and he told me that if we agreed on a price, we could get the work done by the end of the week. He told me this when we scheduled the appointment initially. So that being said I didn't bother calling other companies. I was just expecting a somewhat reasonable price. So we could just get signed up and get the work done.

He was only at my house for about 3 minutes. And he told me I would for sure have an estimate by the end of the day. So I waited til the end of the following day (Wednesday) and asked if he had a chance to send the estimate. I got no response.

Today is Thursday and still nothing. I would've been absolutely fine if he said he wasn't interested in the work or couldn't do it... That way I could've contacted someone else and got this done on time.

He seemed like a nice guy. I would've hired him for sure, but I guess he wasn't interested so he just told me he'd email me a quote and never did. I think better communication would be helpful.  Now I just need to contact a company that can be honest with their customers and communicate if there is a problem.

Top notch electricians! Very professional and go above and beyond to get the job done. Josh and Jimmy were both eager to make sure we were happy with the work they did. I will continue to use them personally and refer them to clients and friends!

We had hardwood floors refinished and a basement remodel done on our newly-purchased house.  They did a great job on the floors, but the remodel has turned into a nightmare.  We had serious issues with the quality of subcontractors they used and now the egress window and window well that they installed has flooded our basement twice and continues to do so.  We are having to have the work redone by a professional and it is costing us thousands -- on top of the remodel cost.  We contacted them after the first flood and received no reply.  We have now contacted them again.  We will see if they back their work or not.
