Positively Charged Electric is a full-service electrical contractor based in Aurora, Colorado. We offer a wide spectrum of electrical services including lighting, panel upgrades, whole house fans, vehicle chargers, basement finishes, diagnostics, repairs and much more. Our goal is to offer the absolute highest quality installations and honest, accurate advice. We treat all of our customers with respect and do not use gimmicks or pushy sales tactics. No Job is too big or too small.
HISTORY
Established in 2012.
When the economy collapsed in 2009 I transitioned from new construction to the service industry and saw a need for change. Most big service companies use pushy sales, gimmicks and lip service to overcharge for work people may or may not need and focus very little on the actual quality of the work being installed. My focus has always been on providing the highest quality installations and giving accurate advice so the customer make informed decisions for themselves.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
I have been doing electrical work since 2002 when I graduated the 2 year electrical occupations program at Pitkens Tech where I also earned a gold medal at the Colorado VICA competition in 2001. I have consistently been a foreman at the various companies I have worked at from 2004 until I opened Positively Charged in 2012 and have always gained the respect of my coworkers as a very knowledgeable electrician.

Jason is a reliable, friendly, and skilled electrician. He has done work in my house (hanging chandeliers, garage lighting, security cameras, etc.) and my office (LED lighting, washer/dryer electrical, etc.). I have not only been impressed by the work, but also the communication from Jason. I have seen him answer his phone while on a ladder to maintain good contact with his clients. Highly recommended and repeat customer.
I had a couple of recess lights that kept turning off and on so I started to go through the quote process via yelp. Jason answered back quickly and offered to discuss possible solutions with me via phone before he came out. His suggestion solved my issue. He was super knowledgeable and I'm so grateful that he wasn't just trying to make a buck. I will definitely use him for any electrical work in the future.

Jason was really great to work with. He was very responsive and was always quick to respond when needed. Was able to come out quickly to address some electrical inspection issues. Knew everything that needed to be done from the report and quoted the work right away. The pricing was very fair, the work was done well and communication was great. Can't ask for much more, thank you!
Positively Charged is fantastic. Jason is Honest, very helpful and did a fantastic job getting our electrical running again. I highly recommend them!

Update to my previous review: Jason called and explained to me what was involved in the charge when he came out to my house to cut off electrical to outlets we didn't require. The conduit itself was leaking so we needed power to it cut. At first, I thought he was here for only 20 minutes and charged $100, but he explained what the job entailed and how much work he actually did, how long he was actually here, and he took the time to actually follow up on why I was disappointed (with my first review) and cleared up some misconceptions I had (he mostly spoke with my partner during the job). The fact that he looks at these reviews and is genuinely concerned about following up with customers makes me think he's one of the few reliable and trustworthy industry workers out there.
In today's world of abysmal customer service and work quality Jason truly stands out in contrast by offering amazing service and exceptional work quality. Jason was on time, fixed a telephone problem that many others had not even been able to figure out, and was very reasonably priced. There are not enough positive words in the English vocabulary to describe the high work and service qualities that Jason provided. On top of all that I was even given some restaurant recommendations by this very friendly person! I have just found my Go to Master electrician for all future electrical work I may need. Two thumbs up! Truly exceptional!
I can't say enough about how happy we are with Jason's work. First off, he actually called us back! Can't say the same about some of the other top rated electricians in the area. We had an old Federal Electric panel and subpanel that we wanted to have replaced in our newly purchased (old) house for piece of mind. He was personable, able to schedule the work in a reasonable amount of time and the charges were very fair. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking an electrician. We'll certainly use him again in the future should the need arise. Look no further - this is the guy!
Jason's quote was competitive and fair compared to other electricians and he was the only one, out of 3 other electricians who came out to give a bid, who was able to figure out how to fish through the ceiling and walls without putting holes in our walls. He did a very clean, professional job adding designated circuits for our window well sump pumps that were installed after our basement flooded. I would highly recommend Jason with Positively Charged.
I found Jason very easy to work with for a complete service change at my house.(Breaker panel and meter box) I got the right vibe from him on the phone and that carried over to in person. He is a very competent electrician and did a nice job working around some issues encountered with short feed wires in the meter box. My favorite part was that, I did not have to upgrade to expensive Arc Fault breakers for this job. The inspection passed easily and the inspector commented on the neat work. I also like his business model which got the work done at a price that was right for both of us. I normally do most of my own work around the house but if I needed an electrician again,I would definitely call Jason.
