Established in 2000.
Allstar Electrical Services was founded by Gary Stone in the late 1990s to fill an unmet demand: reputable electrical construction done right, the way it should be done. Stone had logged decades in the industry, managing multi-million dollar projects and making house calls for simple switch repairs. Along the way, Stone determined that Allstar Electrical Services would never be the biggest shop in town, but it would be the most reputable, reliable and responsive. Not a day goes by that Stone isn't heard saying: When we win your business, we want to keep your business for years to come

Since owning a home, we've already had our fair share of quirks, leaks, circuit shortage, you name it. We've usually dealt with it in a casual fashion, but when a fan keeps blowing a fuse in the middle of July, there's a problem. That's one of the reasons Allstar is so great. They are efficient and quick. I've never waited longer than 2 days to schedule a service. Plus, the electricians they send are always jolly and make your less then exciting electrical experience always seem much more fun than what you'd expect from an electrician encounter. You always learn something new. A little nugget to apply to your next house-owning woe.

Not being told the price before scheduling the visit was something we realized we should have asked prior when thrown for a loop with the price; however that seems more like a user error than anything. Their prices are reasonable and considering the fast turn around accommodating service, I'd pay what it takes. But that's just the thing - I need to study up on the competitive pricing in the electrical market these days. For all I know, it seemed like a competitive price for a great service. And that'll do for me.

Useless. Phone rang and rang unanswered for 2 mins before a call center picks up and tells me that Bill will call me straight back within 20 mins. He did not. I chased up after an hour and again 25 mins after that.

Someone needs to buy Bill a watch for Christmas...

We have used All Star at our business for a while now.  At least half the time they schedule you, but decide not to show up! Never have I received a follow up call to reschedule after expecting them.

Last week, because I'm an idiot, I recommended All Star to my father. He was looking for a quote on a new barn build he recently completed; starting from scratch with a new breaker box, new wiring / conduit and fixtures....
All Star stood him up TWICE with no phone call.
The day after he requested a quote from another company - Two days later they started it with a quote at approximately $8,000.
They missed out big time...

Great work and they stand behind it!  Had them come out to fix something really complicated almost a year ago, and started acting up again recently.  They have a 12 month warranty, and came back out with no hassle and no charge to get everything right.  (For the record, it wasn't their fault that it went wrong again - the prior owners had rigged up some highly not-to-code stuff in our walls and switches. All fixed now!)

Called twice today (Sunday).  Had an emergency situation and needed an electrician today.  Two calls to the answering service and not even the courtesy to call back...I can't judge how good of an electrician they are unless they call me back.  Sorry but completely unacceptable.

Don showed up from Allstar on time as they had scheduled.  He was able to quickly deduce the problem and the repairs were done in under an hour.  The price was reasonable and the service was fast and friendly.  They are now permanently on my list of go to service folks.

LOU IS THE MAN. Allstar Electrical Services sent him out on a emergency call for a 1928 building which had a uniquely complicated power outage in one of it's 90yr old units. I am a seasoned Maintenance Technician and was completely at loss for what was causing the issue. My Supervisor (who has 30yrs experience) and I spent 3 hours troubleshooting the issue the day prior and both were dumbfounded by the severe complexity and irregularity of the problem. There was no set pattern for the circuitry which was causing the outage as well as inconsistent meter readings which made it that much more impossible to isolate and fix the problem. Lou came out and (as if by magic) troubleshot, isolated, and repaired the problem with minimal effort. He was punctual, friendly, fast, and tidy. If these are the type of people Allstar Electrical Services employs...then I will be using them as my vendor of choice for life.

My fiance and I just purchased our home in July, and we started having some electrical troubles in September. Luckily, we had a Colorado Home Warranty and called to schedule service when one of our breakers blew. The electrician that came out was extremely polite and worked quickly to replace the breaker. Since the breaker was covered under the warranty, I was only charged for the service fee. I took a card from the electrician so that we can contact them in the future for items that are not covered. However, we will request Allstar should we ever have to use our warranty again.

Allstrar has done 1 project on my home.  Which they accomplished quickly 1 year ago I was happy with the work and service initially. I referred them to a client of mine an Gary the sales person wasted days getting them a quote and repeatedly said that they would have it and didn't supply it.  I thought that this might have just been a a busy time.  I had Gary out to my property to get a quote on my home shortly after.  It took two weeks to get a quote from him.  On the property he said that he estimated that it would be around $1800 worth of work when I got the quote three weeks later after pestering him over and over for it the quote was $3900.  I will no longer do business with them or recommend them to anyone.

I was charged $75 for next to nothing.  The electrician came, said it was only my lamp, and tried to leave after giving me my $75 bill.  I pressed him a bit and he asked if I wanted a new outlet installed (since the lamp had sparked and burned the other one) and I said sure..since he was charging me $75 for telling me it was just my lamp (a diagnosis that took him all of 10 seconds), I figured I may as well get SOMETHING out of it.  I understand a trip charge, but $75 for nothing is ridiculous.  And to think that I called Allstar based solely on the reviews that their prices and service are great.
Ripoff.  Never again.

I have to downgrade their score based on information I learned several months after I had the work done. I had requested two additional outlets be installed in my bathrooms. I had left the electrician during the time he was working because I had to go to work. When I returned and he was gone, I noticed he had not installed the same type of outlet as were in there before. (The kind that are designed to shut off the electricity if you drop a curling iron in water.) But I didn't realize that was a code issue and the outlet could be dangerous. I learned this when watching HGTV. So I called All Star and asked that they correct their previous code violation. The owner was out of state at the time but he never returned my call. Very disappointing.

Allstar did a great job with our project rerouting our TV cable from the outside of our house to through the attic and behind a wall.  Mark added a power outlet behind our TV, and created a pathway behind the wall for TV component cables so everything is now totally hidden!  I originally called Allstar just for an estimate, but the estimate was reasonable (less than half the cost of another local electrician I found on Yelp with excellent reviews) and Mark, the electrician, could perform the service at the time of the estimate, so I had him complete the job on the spot!  Mark was quick, professional, and skilled.  I give Allstar Electrical my highest recommendation!

Allstar is fantastic, customer service was great and not to mention the price was substantially lower than any of the other quotes I received.  They were able to come within 24 hours of me calling them for a hot tub hookup.  The freeze was about to come so it was really important to get it running before that happened.  We had so many complications that day with delivery but Adam made sure to explain everything to me in great detail so I didn't have to be charged for an extra hour while we just waited around as well as gave me his number so I could call with any follow up questions just in case.  We hooked everything up last night and everything was great!

I personally have nothing but great things to say regarding customer service, scheduling, cost, professionalism, and most importantly the work done.

My situation is not unlike most new homeowners that move into a new home in Denver...especially one that was built in 1938. First week that we moved in an started loading the electrical panel on a remodeled basement (circa 2010) the lights started flickering and tripping the breaker. I changed the arc fault breaker after doing some DIY research and that didn't work. I searched yelp and came across Allstar Electrical Services. Good reviews and there was an online coupon.

I after my head was about to explode because of the flickering I gave the company a call and received a call from Gary within an hour. This was on a Saturday mind you. I went over the issue Gary and he actually suggested a solution that was cheaper than his team. I gave it a shot and it didn't work. I called Gary back on Sunday to try and get scheduled for the week..I did not expect nor ask for Gary to come out on Sunday. Not only did Gary call me back, but he even said that he could most likely get an electrician out to my house on Monday afternoon. This was reassuring.

I received a phone call at 7:30AM on Monday from Gary saying that his lead tech Jeff would be out to my house around 1PM. Jeff called at 10:30AM and asked if he could come early as his other appointments didn't take as long. Heck yeah you can..let's get this fixed.

After about 10 minutes of describing, witnessing, and troubleshooting the issue Jeff had the problem isolated and fixed. Also taught me a few things along the way which I greatly appreciated as an engineer. I was also able to point out a couple other things that I wanted fixed and/or replaced that were beyond my capabilities and Jeff didn't even blink an eye. Just said sure...not a problem. I want to take this time to give Jeff kudos. Easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. He is a 30 year electrician and it shows.

So after an hour and a half (probably would have taken me 5 hours and 3 trips to Home Depot) and just over $100 (Jeff also accepted my online coupon with no hassle) my issues have been resolved and I couldn't be happier.

I will absolutely use Allstar Electrical Services again...if needed....and I absolutely recommend this company.

On July 3, I heard a popping and sizzling sound coming from an out let in my study.  After identifying that it was an outlet, I noticed sparks and putrid electrical smoke.  I immediately called a bunch of electricians and the only one to return an emergency call was Allstar.  They had a guy out in an hour.  He was fast, thorough and really friendly.  He took the time to show me what was the matter and gave me advice on some future products.  The outlet was replaced and is safe now.  I was so impressed with their great service and competietive pricing that I am going to use them on a remodel project in two weeks.  Great company.  They are now my go-to people!

Based on the positive reviews on Yelp, I hired Allstar to perform several tasks in a home I had purchased (install ceiling fans and add coaxial cable to a room for television).  Called to schedule an appointment and spoke with John who was very pleasant and was able to give me an estimate over the phone and schedule the appointment for later in the week.  Adam called me the morning of the appointment and asked if he could come earlier than our scheduled window (of course you can!!) He arrives exactly on time and was super friendly and informative.  Not only did he do what we had asked, he also took the time to check the strength of all the cable lines running throughout the house, he mapped out which lines ran to which rooms, and he explained to me how the cable lines were run throughout the house and what I would need to show our satellite provider when they came to hook up our service.  AND he vacuumed the mess that he made!  On top of all that, the total bill came in under the quoted amount.  I highly recommend Allstar and will definitely use them again for any future electrician needs.
